Quite some time in the future had passed since this incident and Lincoln Loud was there at his childhood home visiting and helping to set up things for the Christmas season with his own new family there. Lincoln had grown into a good career for himself as a comic artist while also moonlighting as a stage magician; his wife Stella Loud herself was doing well having earned a law degree and was working in a firm.

Lincoln right now was talking to sister in law Sam Sharp who had arrived with her adopted son Matthew and he himself was playing a game with Lincoln & Stella's daughter Lila. There was a knock on the door and Lila answered it only to find no one else there to her confusion but there was a figure that was standing back against the wall next to the door and then jumped out to surprise Lila.

"Did you really have to mess with Lila like that?" Sam chided her wife as Luna walked in having gone to get some extra supplies that Lynn Loud Sr had forgotten about.

"Just a little fun with my favourite niece!" laughed messing with Lila's hair and the other adults walked in and shook their heads; Luna being a hit rock star (along with the Moon Goats) always made sure to have time to check in with her family and spend time with her siblings' children.

"Did your folks ever tell you that your dad was your Aunt Luna's favourite brother or that I'm his favourite sister in law!" Sam decided to join in the fun and ruffle Lincoln's hair and he in turn glared at her and everyone who was giggling with his wife and daughter not excluded.

"Not that you have any competition for the role..." Lincoln muttered thinking about how Luan's husband Benny didn't mind at all that he was only Lincoln's 2nd favourite brother in law behind Bobby.

"Mums always said that Mum was already a sister to Uncle Lincoln when he was still a kid!" Matthew spoke with Lincoln, Luna & Sam smiling and nodding at this.

"Must have been weird when that forged photo got around of you two kissing..." Lila said innocently and things went to a screeching halt as Matthew was confused as things were now tense.

Lincoln put on a smile as he kneeled down to Lila and asked "Lila sweetie; you are not in trouble but can I please ask how did you know about that?" Lincoln asked gently as Lila gulped looking at everyone.

"In a scrapbook that Aunt Lucy gave me; she told me the story." Lila said going away to get the scrapbook and showing where that there was a small print out of the forged picture glued down and glares were on Lucy.

"Sigh. Sorry but I figured that Lila showed have reminders of the bad memories as well from when we were younger to make the good memories even more special." Lucy explained and they sighed as the glares went down understanding the logic but still Lincoln still wanted to have a word with her later about telling his daughter that whole story.

"Well that was the mother of bad memories..." Sam muttered with her arms folded.

"I never really fully forgive Rusty..." Stella muttered shaking his head as while her and Lincoln and their friend group did make peace with Rusty in high school; they would never really truly mend things or be friends with him especially as they lost touch afterwards with him. Sam and Luna glared at the mention of Rusty; they both never had anything but negativity towards him as what they and especially Sam went through were still clear as day to them. Matthew himself was freaked out by the mention of this fake photo wondering what could get them this upset about the memory and still finding it weird to find even a faked photo of one of his Mums kissing his Uncle Lincoln.

"Well we still have plenty of good memories; like did I ever tell you about the accident that the Moon Goats caused when they performed at our wedding?" Lincoln asked laughing along with his wife and the adults but the Moon Goats looked embarrassed at that being brought up.

Since I never took any stab at the framing device; just a little something extra.
