Now we are heading into the past of our dear Maxine, things are building and it is going to make it or break it for the family. I don't own Supernatural, I only own my OC's.
Maxine's POV
When Johnirel asked if I could do him a favor I was very nervous but something told me to say yes to him. I don't regret taking down the message for him. Dean saw me writing down the message but he didn't ask what it was. Now I just got to call Cas when I can so I can give it to him. Sam on the other hand was sleeping, snoring softly away with his mouth hanging out. Luckily Dean doesn't have a spoon with him, the last time he did something like that, it sparked a whole prank war between the two. I got the picture of it from Dean, Sam doesn't really care that I have it but he hates that Dean has the photo as well. I stayed out of the prank war between them that time, don't get me wrong I have done many pranks in the past before, my best one was giving Dean a homemade apple pie made with extra salt. It took a few months before he trusted my pies after that. After watching the road for a while, I fell asleep listening to Led Zeppelin. Next thing I know Dean is waking me up with a Ham and Cheese sandwich and Sam is taking over driving the rest of the way to Bobby's. Seeing the man who became a father figure in mine and my brothers lives made my heart soar in happiness. After the usual tests were done and over with, we each got a hug and sat down in the kitchen to tell Bobby everything while he made us some food. We told him about Johnirel, how I am his vessel, the way Dean tried to fight him. But I didn't tell any of them bout when he contacted me in the car, I wasn't ready to let them know that just yet. I had to try and contact Cas tonight to give him the message. That is one more thing to consider, those two were talking about something big that involved my brothers and I wanted to know what Heaven is planning. But in the meanwhile I would have to wait for those answers. After dinner was done and over with, we all headed to bed. I waited until everyone was asleep before sneaking out to the yard, I quickly found an area hidden from view of the house.
"Castiel angel of the heavens hear my prayer, I have a message to give you from your brother Johnirel."
"Hello Maxine."
"Holy shit!" I turned around to see Cas behind me.
"Cas, Dean has talked to you about this, you don't go popping up behind people. Remember how last time I broke my hand thanks to that." Nothing from him.
"You said Johnirel has a message for me?" I let out a sigh.
"Yeah, he spoke to me earlier and ask if I could give you a message to deliver to a girl in Heaven." I reached into my pocket and pulled out the paper before giving it to him.
"He wants me to deliver a message to a soul in Heaven?" He said as he took the paper from me.
"Yeah, it is to be giving to a little girl name Maddie Barnes." He nodded and then vanished with the sound of feathers on the wind. I will never get used to how angels will just disappear or appear without a sound. I stayed outside for a few minutes just to watch the stars before heading back inside. Once I got back inside, I closed the door quietly before turning around to see Bobby looking right at me right in front of the kitchen. I froze and he narrowed his eyes at me.
"Needed to clear your head Maxine?" I nodded not trusting my voice. He stepped to the side and pointed at the stairs.
"Bed Maxine, on the double. You need your rest you idjit especially after the day you three have had."
"Yes Bobby." I walked past him and climbed the stairs. I quickly passed my brothers' rooms before reaching mine. I closed my door behind me before walking to my bed and plopping down on it. I let out a groan before getting back up and change into my pjs.
When I woke up in the morning there was this amazing smell in the air. I knew exactly what was being made, Bobby was making pancakes most likely blueberry pancakes. I hurried in getting dressed before rushing downstairs and into the kitchen almost slipping on the floor.
"Morning Maxine." Bobby turned to me holding a plate of freshly done pancakes. "Go fix your shirt girl."
I looked downwards to see that my shirt was on backwards. I felt my cheeks heat up before quickly walking to the bathroom to fix my shirt. Once I got back tp the kitchen I saw my brothers at table with their own plates.
"Had your shirt on backwards again sis?" Dean asked raising an eyebrow and smirking as he already knew the answer. I flipped him the bird before grabbing my silverware then sitting down at the table. Bobby place a plate with three pancakes on it and blueberries all around it. Sam pushed me the butter while Dean pushed me the syrup. I quickly buttered my pancakes then drowned them in syrup before cutting a slice and eating it. I was halfway through my second bite when Bobby's phone started ringing. He quickly made his way over and answered it.
"Singer."
I watched him start writing for a few seconds before going back to eating my pancakes. Just as I was about to ask for more pancakes, Bobby sat down and let out a sigh Uhoh, that could only mean one thing, he just got a lead on a new hunt. Me and my brothers quickly put down our silverware.
"What and where Bobby?" Dean asked.
"Vampire nest sighting but you ain't going to like where it is." That isn't good at all.
"Where is it Bobby?" I pressed him.
"Your old hometown Maxine." Fear and anxiety ran through me. My hometown, the last place I ever wanted to go back to. Bumpus Mills, Tennessee, a small town where everyone knows everyone and the the place where my parents were murdered. I had lost my appetite.
