"Plan in operation"

The way in which they had elaborated the plan was such that they came to the conclusion that if they approached Bakugou directly, they wouldn't get an answer from him, other than his disinterest and his unleashed rage throughout the school.

So the first option they had was to get into Midoriya's group with the aim of getting the information from him about what happened the day before in the supposed date of Midoriya and his friend.

The ravages of dealing directly with Bakugou, encouraged a hasty conversation in which neither party came out as a winner, especially his, because Bakugou presented arguments to eliminate any trace of suspicion that was had regarding him with the things of which they were attributed to him with his behavior.

So, the plan was only one thing. Or everywhere, with a goal that is much clearer than opaque: playing truth or dare.

But if they played, this time they would play with the company of Midoriya's group present in the game. On the other hand, they would make a slight change. Very slight change in the game, so that it would go unnoticed by other participants; especially the explosive boy.

They used the trick from Ned's School survival guide, which consisted of putting a magnetic click on one of the drink glasses, so that in the turns that the bottle took in the game, it would hit Midoriya at least five times in a single game.

Hence, it is that each one was in charge of approaching each friend of the Dekusquad group separately. They tried to find out the schedules of Midoriya's friends. In particular, Kirishima tried to dig into the schedules that eclipsed Midoriya's availability for the game. None of their schedules promoted the action plan that they as a group wanted to know about what happened between them on the day before.

Uraraka had almost every weekday afternoon off; Iida was practically free every afternoon after seven; Todoroki seemed to be available most of the time, especially at night; And, the star of the plan, zero free time.

Midoriya had zero free time.

And because?

Because he trained every day in the afternoon. He would catch him running on the track, he would catch him lifting weights in the gym, he would find him working out in the front yard of the dorms, he would see him practicing in the gardens.

He never had free time, and that was what intrigued him. The reason why he trained so much in the afternoon, in order to improve as a person and hero. He trained to save people, not trash cans.

He could tell his dedication when he went out looking for him. A sublime dedication carved in his green eyes, heading to a fixed point in the middle of something he himself did not understand. He only limited himself to contemplating with his naked eyes, what Midoriya was trying so hard to achieve.

As the days passed, he managed to get enough talk out of him to convince him to join the game.

"Could you set aside just one Friday afternoon, Midoriya?" Kirishima pleaded, holding up his hands in prayer for him to accept.

He looked at him stunned, and quite surprised with his plea.

"You mean that…" He pondered a bit, adding: "Have some free time?" He guessed, outlining an amused smile.

"Yeah! Please, even if it's an hour" He assured, still with his hands joined. "After that you can go train as much as you need. Just hang out with us for a while and you're off"

Midoriya hesitated.

Seriously, he hesitated.

He seemed to be in a battle with himself whether to accept what he asked or not. But sooner or later, he ended up agreeing, thanks to how nice the guy is.

"You really can?!" Kirishima exclaimed, encouraged.

Midoriya nodded.

"Of course, Kirishima," The boy smiled.

"You saved me!" He said, singing victory. "I promise you'll have a lot of fun with us"

He nodded and therefore smiled as kindly as he could.

Kaminari was right when he said that Midoriya is a sun, because he really is. His eyes sparkle like diamonds and his front teeth turn incandescent, making him look so unreachable to even hold his hand.

Maybe Bakugou felt that way about him, in that section and did nothing about it.

He maybe gets overwhelmed when he sees him smile (which pretty much happens all the time) and he doesn't know what to do. Or what to say. Nothing.

"Friday," Midoriya said. "What time would the reunion be?"

"Don't worry about the time," Kirishima assured, dissuading Midoriya's worried face. "I'll send you a message, telling you the time. Don't worry about the rest, seriously. It's not a big deal".

"Oh, sure?"

"More than sure." He nodded his head repeatedly.

He smiled at him graciously, knowing that he had accomplished his purpose.

It only remained that the explosive boy was present on Friday afternoon.

Friday arrived, the Bakusquad without Bakugou, was present at their own table. Talking about the magnet they would use in the bottle, so as not to cause suspicion for anyone. Mina had gotten a tiny magnet, which worked wonderfully. While Kaminari got a super magnet with the excuse that the bigger the magnetic field, the greater the chances of success.

Sero didn't get anything, because he took it upon himself to buy the bottle and disposable cups that they would use in the game.

Instead, he made sure that the rest were available and had no plans for the afternoon.

Everything was going relatively smoothly, until Bakugou sat between them, having asked for his order. As soon as they saw him take a seat with them, they fell silent, choosing to change the subject instantly.

Kirishima could see how Kaminari and Sero turned pale in the presence of the explosive boy, who they didn't dare to even lay a finger on.

They had everything arranged, they just needed to confirm his attendance.

With his eyes, he signaled to them that he would take the lead in convincing him. Mina got the message and winked at him, taking Sero and Kaminari by the arm.

When they were alone, Bakugou didn't open his mouth at all. His immutable silence denoted that he would evade any topic that he wanted to discuss with him. Typical gesture of disinterest on his part.

Kirishima rubbed his hands, nervous that the situation would backfire. But he blindly trusted his convincing ability, that he would take all the burden of conversing with him.

He moved closer, moving his elbows sunk into the edge of the table toward hers. His movement reflected confidence between friends.

"Don't you think I don't know what you're up to," Bakugou spoke, clicking his tongue.

"Eh?:

Kirishima wasn't expecting that.

"You think I don't know that you fools want something to happen to me and Deku?" He gave a bitter laugh, roughly. "You're crazy, bunch of extras. Deku and I won't be happening anytime soon".

"And when will it happen?" He dared to ask him.

Bakugou looked at him annoyed.

"At no time, spiky hair"

"But I thought you loved Midoriya" Kirishima mentioned, sideways.

Bakugou's jaw clenched, becoming uncomfortable with his intention.

"Then why do you say they won't happen? Did something happen between you the other day that you haven't told us?"

"I didn't say anything," The explosive boy replied, blushing. "Don't invent things that are not"

"You mean that something did happen between you," He guessed, rubbing his chin with the fingers of his hand.

The explosive boy's skin changed from pale to reddish. An almost scarlet red, but temperate. His strong resignation against his argument was flatly outshone by the color of his face.

"What happened?" He questioned, avoiding showing his obvious disappointment that something had come up between them. He still didn't know if Bakugou was the ideal candidate for Midoriya, but he couldn't find anyone who loved Bakugou in the same way as Midoriya. They're love, probably, is mutual. Only the two of them are too stubborn to accept it.

Bakugou twisted his tongue, fixing his gaze on the steaming bowl of soup that he was dipping into with his hand.

"Fine" He was able to articulate.

"Fine, in what way?" He pressed.

"Why do you care to know, stupid?" Bakugou protested.

"Bakugou" He mentioned in a resigned tone.

The aforementioned blushed and gave the soup a sharp dip.

"It was fine, okay?" He snapped, the explosive boy. "We went to eat, then we went through several stores, until the nerd took me to his house and put on All Might movies. And then he…" He flushed furiously. "He hugged me." He saw him tremble with a small smile adorning his frown, hilariously.

"He hugged you?!" Kirishima exclaimed quietly.

How daring Midoriya is, he thought in amazement.

Although... he never hugged me, he added sadly.

Bakugou nodded, tiny in his seat.

"Yes, the nerd had the audacity to hug me," He continued with hoarse voice. "He told me that he was so happy to have gone out with me, that he wanted to do it again. And he... he told me that he loved me" He blushed up to his ears, letting go of the spoon that was soaking up the soup without consuming it. Kirishima regarded him in brief silence. It was the first time Bakugou had genuinely smiled. His expressions were genuine, his eyes widened in an indescribable brightness, as at the same time undeniable.

It was noticeable in broad strokes, Bakugou's love for Midoriya. It was a pure and strong love. Sincere and innocent.

He was happy for his friend, but that didn't mean he wasn't sad for not having experienced a romantic moment with Midoriya.

Kirishima was heartbroken.

In the midst of his grief, Bakugou directed his gaze at him, saying: "Deku loves me".

"I see…" Kirishima sighed, reacting to his confession.

"Get off that hideous idiot face, spiky hair," Bakugou bellowed, hardening his scowl, along with the withering power of his scarlet glare. "It's annoying to have to see your hideous face when I tell you what you want to know so much. What happened with Deku, is what you wanted to know, right? So say something about it or I'll pulverize you"

"No-no, everything is fine," He assured, hiding his pain. "I'm glad you enjoyed your time with Midoriya."

"You don't look very convinced," He pointed out, looking at him from top to bottom with disdain.

"No, I'm serious," He insisted, trying to sound very accurate with his words. "It was about time you acted, because I didn't feel that anything was happening. I thought you would stay without lifting a finger for Midoriya"

He looked down, burying his fingers inside his pockets. He looked thoughtful.

"I don't owe you explanations, spiky hair" Bakugou spoke, after a silence. "What I do with my life is none of your business. If I don't want to do anything with Deku, that's no reason for you to intervene unreasonably. I don't want you idiots to intervene, because you ruin everything you touch. And don't even think about messing with Deku however you want. What Deku does is the least of your worries. No one should mess with him and bother him for selfish purposes like that".

"What does that mean?"

"Don't talk to Deku for silly reasons like setting us up," Bakugou blurted out angrily. "Don't touch him, don't bother him, don't put a finger on him, now you understand?!"

Kirishima nodded, his mouth opening slightly in amazement.

With that the explosive boy cares about the surroundings of Midoriya. He cares more than he admits to doing. If he has ever admitted it out loud.

The contrast that his actions made in relation to his feelings, which reflected a light behind a tunnel. The vagueness of his words overshadow what he really feels. And if nobody takes the time to understand everything that comes out of his mouth, they wouldn't understand the message that he really reflects.

If Bakugou doesn't want anyone near Midoriya, he implied that his plans will remain unresolved. In nowhere.

But, pissing him off would be what the Bakusquad would do together. Anyway, it's his specialty to pester him to death.

Therefore, Kirishima rose from the seat, without any qualms, and without articulating words; He moved to the exit of the cafeteria, walking over the edge of the exit with his head down.

If there was something to clarify, it is that between Midoriya and Bakugou there was an undeniably linked connection in destiny, or in coincidence. They hit it off for reasons he couldn't explain himself, not even with apples and pears.

But for Midoriya's sake, he would turn the magnet against Bakugou, just to shift his suffering onto someone who wouldn't even admit his feelings, not even when he handed them to him on a silver platter.

He would make Bakugou swallow his words and pride, even once.
