Tracy's Floor
Chapter 2: Hold My Hand
Later, when Quinn woke up, she heard Kurt and Carole talking about Tracy. She soon gets up and returns to the hospital seeing Burt talking to Rachel in the lobby. As she heads to Tracy's bed in the I. C. U, She sees Noah sitting at her bedside. Before the doctors wheel Tracy out of the I. C. U. and head to an elevator. Then Rachel comes up to Quinn as Noah and Blaine go with Tracy.
Rachel then sighs and says, "Tracy woke up a half hour ago. Blaine dropped the charges but said he didn't want you here."
Quinn looks around, sees Burt, and says, "If Kurt didn't try to take the gun away from me. None of you would be here right now. I swear. Since Beth died, all of you have rallied around Puck, and Kurt would only call me after Puck snuck into her room drunk. None of you have asked me how I am doing and have asked me about Puck every other day. Beth was my daughter, and I gave her to your mother. Then ten years later, she gets cancer, and he doesn't come to see her."
Burt soon approaches them and says, "Quinn, I wish I could feel sorry for you, but I can't. You could have killed Tracy. Now, all you can do is think of yourself. Quinn, if I thought like you, Kurt might have been an orphan after Elizabeth died. I had friends to help me and Carole had friends to help her. You have friends, Quinn, and they know you are hurting. Puck was overseas when Beth got cancer, and he couldn't come because he was in a hospital bed with his leg amputated at the knee. He spent a year overseas and didn't learn about Beth until he came home for the funeral, which you banned him from."
Then Rachel says, "Quinn, I think you should leave. You are not needed here." Quinn looks at Burt, then leaves, and Kurt finds her asleep on the porch swing in the morning.
When Tracy woke up, she felt two male hands and asked, "Nono, are you here? Why is it dark?"
Then Blaine asks, "Tracy, can't you see us?" but she doesn't respond and shakes her head no. Soon Blaine storms out after showing Noah the text Kurt sent about Quinn.
When Blaine got home, he knocked Quinn out of the porch swing and yelled, "Tracy is blind, thanks to you!" as Rachel pulled up in her car, followed by Burt in his truck.
Blaine picks Quinn up and pins her against the wall as he yells, "I wish you would have killed yourself now. Beth is gone, and there is nothing you can do about it! You almost killed Kurt and blinded Tracy! You ruined my life when I did nothing to you! Puck convinced me to drop the charges and has been by Tracy's side all night with me! He might think Tracy is his best friend, but I consider him mine; right now!" Quinn pushes Blaine out of her way and ignores the others as she walks home.
When they entered Tracy's hospital room, they heard Noah sing My Little Girl by Tim McGraw. Then Blaine takes Tracy's hand as he tells Noah, "I know Quinn didn't mean it, but I can't forgive her."
Noah pets Tracy's head and says, "I shouldn't have said she was my best friend. She is, but I shouldn't have told Quinn that. I think that's why she tried to kill herself."
Rachel looks at Tracy and says, "Quinn told Shelby that she couldn't have any more kids when she learned about Beth's cancer."
Then Tracy wakes up and says, "Nono, lay down with me. Grandpa Burt, sit. Mama Rachel, go with Papa Blaine to get coffee." Soon Carole walks in as Noah lies with Tracy and breaks down.
Tracy turns her head to the door and says, "Queenie, come in. I forgive you." and soon, Quinn walks in and takes Noah's hand as Hold My Hand by Lady Gaga plays on the TV. Then she lies down on the other side of Tracy as Kurt enters the room.
Tracy puts her finger to her mouth and whispers, "They lost Aunt Beth twice, Dada. I know what Queenie did was wrong, but she was hurting. You could have lost me, but I am still here. Aunt Beth isn't, and her parents are sad. I am not Nono's daughter, but I am his best friend, like Auntie Tana, and I love him as much as I love you." causing Burt and Carole to stifle their laughter as Kurt glares at them.
Quinn woke up to see Noah by the window with his back to her. Then he said, "I love you, Quinn, and that will never change. But I can't stand to be around you right now." Quinn looks at Mercedes, who walks in as And I'm Telling You I'm Not Going plays on TV as Quinn sings along. Then Noah storms out, followed by Mercedes, who glares at Quinn.
Later that night, at Kurt's house, Carole and Kurt wake up to the security system going off. Kurt was not surprised to find Noah on Tracy's floor asleep and covered him with the quilt from her bed. When Noah wakes up in the morning, he breaks down as he sees Tracy's Hulk doll on the floor and grips it as Carole peeks in.
Tracy woke up hearing Quinn asleep in a chair then Noah entered the room with Burt. Tracy then whispers, "Nono, forgive her! I did! Now, it's your turn! I helped you! Now, you help her! She is sorry! I am your best friend! So, you better do what I say!" Noah rolls his eyes but says nothing before Tracy hits him with her drink cup.
The sound wakes Quinn up, and she laughs as Tracy yells, "Nono, tell Queenie you forgive her! Or I will sing the baby shark song until you do!"
Noah looks at Quinn and mutters, "I forgive you, Quinn." and rubs the back of his head. Quinn giggles as Tracy puts her hands on her hips like Rachel used to but says nothing.
Chapter 3 should be up soon.
