After defeating Vaatu a lot changes. There are vines covering half of republic city, spirits everywhere, and the avatar can't access the guidance of her past lives anymore. oh, and her best Friend/former romantic rival can airbend now! yup, this is a story about what if Asami had become an airbender. also a couple new members join team avatar. on indefinite hiatus

6. Update, Indefinite hiatus

So... I guess I should address why this story hasn't been updated in almost 3 years.

the short answer is depression. I lost my job, and fell into some pretty rough times in life. I then spiralled into a deep depression that I never really recovered from. I'm getting better, but it's still not great. I've recovered in terms of stability in my life, but it will likely be a long while yet before I recover mentally.

as such, this story is going on indefinite hiatus. (this sentence is the TL;DR)

I don't even know if I'll ever come back and finish it, but I do enjoy the concept so If anyone wants to give a crack at the concept themselves, I highly encourage it. I always did think asami was pretty underutilized. reading this story back now, I'm not exactly happy with how things came out. so if I ever do come back to this, I might just rewrite the whole thing. but that's a big IF right now.

so yeah, thank you to everyone who read this and enjoyed it, and I'm sorry things turned out the way they did.
