Chapter 32 One Year Together

Tsukasa's POV

I was sitting in a café, deep in thought.

"Here you are, Onii-Chan", Saki said before putting my order down in front of me.

Then, she sat down next to me.

"So", she started. "What are you thinking about so deeply?"

"In a few days time, it will be the one year anniversary of when Ichika and I officially became a couple."

"You're right", Saki exclaimed. "Wow, I can't believe that you and Ichi-Chan have been together for a whole year!" It feels like it was just yesterday when it happened."

"Indeed", I agreed. "I am currently thinking about what I should do to celebrate the anniversary."

"Since it's an anniversary, maybe you should do something related to the moment you and Ichi-Chan got together?"

"The moment me and Ichika got together", I repeated.

Then…I thought about that very moment…and an idea came to me.

"That's it", I exclaimed. "I know what to do!"

Ichika's POV

Today was a very important day…as it was one year anniversary of when Tsukasa and I officially became a couple.

Currently, I was into the living room of the Tenma household.

When I got there, I saw Tsukasa holding a bouquet of geraniums.

"Here she is, Onii-Chan", Saki exclaimed.

"Ichika", Tsukasa said before he walked up to me. "You look absolutely beautiful, my love."

Hearing this from Tsukasa made my face turn bright red.

"Thank you, Tsukasa", I managed to breathe out.

Then, Tsukasa gave the flowers to Saki…before holding out his hand to me.

"Shall we, my lady", he asked.

I giggled at this, before grabbing his outstretched hand.

"We shall."

…

Tsukasa was leading me somewhere as my eyes were closed.

"We're here", he revealed.

Then, I opened my eyes…and found myself in a familiar place.

"This is the park", I said.

"Not just any park", Tsukasa stated. "It was in this very park where I confessed my love to you!"

"You're right", I said before looking up. "There's the jungle gym we were sitting on when it happened."

"Shall we sit on top of it yet again", Tsukasa asked.

"Sure", I replied.

Then we climbed to the top of the jungle gym, before sitting down on top of it.

"Wow", I said as I looked at the sky. "The stars are beautiful."

"They're just as beautiful as they were that night", Tsukasa stated, before turning his head to look at me. "And you're just as beautiful as you were that night too, my love."

Hearing this made me blush.

Then…I felt Tsukasa grab onto my hand.

I looked at him, before smiling. Then, I put my head on his shoulder.

"I can't believe that it's already been a whole year since we officially became a couple", I said.

"May we be together for many more years to come."

After Tsukasa said that, I couldn't help to begin to feel a little sad. And then…tears began falling from my eyes.

"Ichika", Tsukasa started in concern as he pulled away from me.

"I'm sorry", I apologized. "It's just…soon…we won't physically be together."

After I said this, Tsukasa looked at me sadly.

Then…he cupped my face with his hands.

"Let's not worry about the future", he stated. "Because right now, we are together."

After Tsukasa said this, I smiled.

Then…I put my forehead on top of his.

He's right. Right now, we're together. I need to make the most out of it.
