Chapter 33 Album Release

Ichika's POV

Today marked a very important milestone for Leo/need, because today…was the day our first album was released!

We were currently in Tower Records, waiting as an album signing event was being set up.

As we waited…we stared at a display of copies of our albums.

"I can't believe that we are currently staring at a display for OUR OWN ALBUM right now", Saki exclaimed. "This is amazing!"

"It almost feels like a dream", Shiho stated.

"But it isn't a dream", Honami pointed out. "It's real. We actually did it!"

As my bandmates continued to speak…I picked up an album before opening it up and pulling out the lyric booklet.

Since Leo/need was made up of childhood friends, our marketing team decided that the lyric booklet should contain childhood pictures of us.

As I looked at the booklet, I began to get emotional.

"Ichika-Chan", Honami started in concern before rushing up to me. "Is everything okay?"

"I'm sorry", I apologized. "It's just…not only does this booklet contain pictures of us, it also contains the lyrics I've written. Seeing it seems too good to be true."

"But it is true, Ichika", Shiho reassured. "We made it, and we did it it together!"

"Yeah", Saki agreed. "And I'm sure that we're gonna do even more amazing things together as a band from here on out!"

After Saki said this…I smiled before nodding.

"Right", I said.

"Now come on", Saki exclaimed. "Let's get this event started!"

After the event ended, we headed back to our record label.

"Congratulations on a successful first album release girls", Hiroshi congratulated.

"Thank you so much for giving us this opportunity in the first place, Hiroshi-Ojisan", Shiho said.

"You're very welcome, Shiho", Hiroshi said. "Now then, it's time to discuss what's next for you girls. I was thinking that, in order to promote your new album, you should go on tour!"

"Tour", Saki exclaimed excitedly.

"Yes", Hiroshi replied. "You will be doing shows all around Japan!"

"That's amazing", Honami stated.

"When will the tour be", I asked.

"I was thinking during summer break", Hiroshi replied.

"Summer break", I asked, suddenly becoming upset.

"Yes", Hiroshi replied. "It is the most suitable time for a tour, as it won't interfere with school."

After Hiroshi said this, I look at Saki…who also seemed upset.

"What's wrong", Hiroshi asked.

"It's just…", Saki started. "My older brother is moving to America to study, and he's leaving right after summer break. And, he can't just come with us because the theater troupe he's in is doing one last show together before he moves, and he'll need to prepare for that during summer break."

"Saki", Hiroshi started "I understand that you want to spend time with your brother before he leaves, but it's like I said. Summer break is the only time that is really suitable for your tour. I'm sure your brother will understand."

After Hiroshi said this…I looked down sadly.

I'm…going to have even less time to spend with Tsukasa before he leaves?
