As we were leaving the grand library, my fingers trailed down on the many books. Sometimes an interesting book came to my grasp, and I would memorize the name to read it later. Our figures were bathed by the last strong ray of the sun penetrating the large windows before we opened the door and walked out of the refuge of knowledge.

"So, what's that book?" asked Galadriel, looking at the book that I was holding in my hands.

"Oh, this? A book about a special type of magic," I responded while showing her the simple black book wrapped in some mysterious leather.

"And what is that type of magic?" she asked, interested in why I was taking such a book with me.

A smirk grew on my face. "A special one"

"Wow, as if I hadn't understood that. What type is it?" she said in a matter-of-fact tone,

I tilted my head and said in a tone as if it was normal. "A special one"

She sighed in resignation "… You don't want to answer me?"

"I did answer you. It's a special one," I told her once again, hiding what this book truly was.

She clenched her fist before releasing the pressure and answering with a tint of anger. "Fine, keep your secrets to yourself."

I held up my hand defensively. "Ok, ok. I'll tell you later what it is, but it doesn't matter much, as you wouldn't be able to use it"

"What makes you think that?" she asked curiously, taking that a bit too much personally.

I clarified the misunderstanding. I was not underestimating her; it was just the truth. "Well, it's not made for light elves."

Her eyes widened. "Dark magic?"

I exclaimed in surprise. "What? No!" before rolling my eyes and continuing, "I mean, I don't care if it is dark magic, but it isn't. It's made for Asgardian and some other races."

Her face lit up. "Oh ok, but I wouldn't have asked you to lend it to me. I was just curious."

I felt a bit apologetic. There was no need to do that, but it was kind of funny seeing her expression jumping around. "I know. Sorry for being so cryptic."

She responded the same way, embarrassed at having gotten angry for this little. "Don't worry. Anyway, where are we going?"

My eyebrows rose, and I looked at her questioningly. "What do you mean, I was following you?"

She looked at me in the eyes and answered. "I was also following you!"

"…"

"…"

"Do you want to prank some people?" I asked, trying to escape the awkwardness.

A small smile came to her face and, with a glint in her eyes, she answered. "Sounds fun. Let's do it. Show me how to toy with people, Loki."

"I will. We just need to go back to my dorm. I need to place that book away and take some materials if needed," I told her while pointing in the direction of the dorms.

She nodded. "Ok, let's regroup here in ten minutes."

After some time of waiting, I saw her approaching.

Her beastly glowing eyes and white hair were accentuated by the dark clothing that clad her growing features. Her long hair cascaded down her back like a waterfall of glistening snow, contrasting sharply with the ebony fabric of her outfit. The piercing gaze of her eyes seemed to hold secrets untold, and the mix of white and dark gold hues that illuminated them added an otherworldly quality to her beauty. The hood of her cloak framed her sharp features, casting her delicate face into a shadowy veil that only accentuated her allure.

She looked at me and, wiping her clothes, she said, "Are you ready?"

I was dumbstruck at the sight of her. "… What are those clothes?"

She looked at me as if she had no idea what I was talking about. "What?"

I pointed at her clothes. "Do you think you are a ninja?"

She cocked her head to the side and asked with a finger on her lip. "What are ninjas?"

I rolled my eyes. "Doesn't matter, anyway. Why did you change your clothes and especially wear things so suspicious like that?"

She looked at me with a serious expression. "To become one with the dark, if we need to run away."

My eyes widened. "What do you think we are going to do? An assassination? Girl, we are just pranking some people. Your clothes are just a hindrance because you can't go unnoticed in the crowd with them."

She looked down at the floor. "Sorry…"

With a small smile, I put my hand on her shoulder. "It's okay, but just remember, for the next time, you need to be able to easily disappear in a crowd."

There was a long minute of silence before she asked. "So, what are the rules of pranking? I presume you can't just do whatever you want to the detriment of others."

I clapped my hands. "Bravo ten point to Gryffindor"

She looked at me as if I was crazy. "… What?"

I shrugged my shoulder, telling her to forget what I said. "Don't mind me." I held up one of my fingers in the air. "The ground rules are first thing first to have fun. But you can't bully someone. A prank should be fun and not repetitive. If you prank someone, he should not be the target of the next one, except if this is a prank war."

I held a second finger. "Don't do something that will make him embarrassed for his entire life, or else you are just a bully. Try not to break materials, even if it may seem cheap, it could have an importance to the target."

"Fourth, no extreme bodily harm. Making someone fall on dirt is okay, but you can't just cut his leg or make him in terrible pain for fun."

She nodded. "Seems pretty simple."

I agreed. "It is, but sometimes it is hard to know if the prank would hurt the person or not."

She nodded once again, with a sly smile on her lips. "Ok, so who are we going to play a prank on?"

I held up my head pensively. "Is there anyone that goes on your nerves in the academy?"

She looked at me with a smile and answered without an ounce of hesitation. "You"

My shoulder fell "Except me."

She thought about it for a second. "Shh, there was that ginger, she …"

I walked faster while humming, "Then let's go and prank her."

She asked with curiosity, "What should we do?"

A dreadful grin appeared on my face. "Kill her!"

Her body froze. "What!?"

I shrugged "Kidding, she deserves it, but we can't" My voice fell to a barely audible whisper "for now" before continuing as if nothing happened. "We will just do something harmless".

A smirk grew on my face as I thought about my plans for her.

"You are scaring me out."

-(Line Break)-

My drama senses are tingling,

I could feel it grooming under the heart of two young maidens,

Rivalry or jealousy?

This was the question.

I stood hidden behind a wall of bushes with Galadriel. On the other side of the bush wall, there were three teens talking loudly with arrogance. The most annoying of those three voices spoke again. "What an idiot! Does she think she can ignore us just because she is a princess?"

Guess whom they were talking about?

It's obvious when they said "Princess".

I looked to my right, where the princess stood. Her face betrayed no emotions, but I was Loki, and I could see beyond that carefully made mask. I could see a glint of frustration hidden in her eyes. She lightly clenched her fists.

There seemed to be some kind of history between both.

Whom am I kidding? Of course, there is! But it seems deeper than what Galadriel told me as we were deciding whom to prank.

Galadriel really is lucky to have met me!

She'll be able to have vengeance against someone talking beyond her back AND she will learn how to enjoy life.

I truly am an angel!

'…'

Ok, maybe a fallen one, but doesn't matter!

With determination, I carefully observed, through the bushes, the main antagonist of this chapter.

She was fairly beautiful, but not as much as the princess. Maybe that's where the history between them began.

She had long red hair. They were fine and seemed to have been trimmed for hours long. She must have maids because there is no way someone would spend so much time on his own hair. Except if she has no life and doesn't know how to read…

Seeing her, I thought that this was extremely unlikely.

She was wearing a white uniform with golden waves and blue lines marking the end of those clothes.

That shit's good quality!

Around her neck was a blue lapis-lazuli jewel held by an emerald chain. On her fingers were two gold rings with diamonds.

Her porcelain skin easily reflected the light of the sun.

Goddam, she looked like a perfect doll, even more than Galadriel's personality.

By observing her behavior, body language, and the care she had given her hair and skin, I inferred that she probably took great pride in her appearance.

This was really starting to look like a bad Korean Otome manhwa.

Wait, if this really is one, who the fuck am I? The protagonist? Antagonist? Extra? Second Main lead…

I rotated my cervical from left to right, moving my atlantoaxial joint along the vertical axis, to shake out those deranging thoughts. I must not fall that low!

With a deep sigh, I was able to concentrate myself once more on the task beforehand: Pranking annoying bitches that have some history with Galadriel.

And creating drama!

Muhahaha

Hemhem…

Anyway, what should I do?

A bucket of water on her head?

Nah, too easy, we need something more difficult and much funnier.

I want the ginger to have a really funny face because I want Galadriel to enjoy it so much that she will play a prank on other people with me. I also want her to prank the red-haired girl many times to create some fun for me.

Everything's for the drama!

After a second of deep thought and many scenarios running through my mind, I approached Galadriel's ear and whispered what we were going to do. She giggled with excitement.

The three teens were still talking loudly and ill of Galadriel, bringing out a wider smile to my face.

I just can't wait to see their faces sink in and bring Galadriel to the dark side!

I carefully peered through the leaves to observe their movements and how they were positioned as I finalized our plan.

The red-haired girl was standing in the center, between the two other non-significant extras. She was talking to them with an air of superiority.

They are her lapdog; I thought, seeing the two girls nodding at whatever the ginger was saying and complimenting her.

With a complicated military movement, I signaled Galadriel to get ready; I took out of a space-extended bag a few paint-filled balloons. As we made our preparations, I couldn't help but wonder what had caused the tension between the princess and the red-haired girl. It seemed like there was more to this story than what met the eye. However, I pushed those thoughts aside, focusing on our mission at hand.

I then waved my hand, carefully changing the environment. In the sky, a hoard of atrocious birds appeared and flew down toward the trio.

As the birds approached, a wave of wind surged, making the birds explode in a rain of blood. At this moment, Galadriel threw the illusioned balloons filled with red paint at the red-haired girl's body.

The ginger shrieked as the paint hit her. Her mind froze as she believed the paint to be blood. The two other girls screamed in panic, followed by another scream.

"Take it off" shouted the red-haired girl to her lapdogs.

Their faces became pale, and they rushed toward her. Out of one of their pockets, they took out something to wash their master's face.

But this was not, however.

As the red-haired girl wore only her underclothing, two old men appeared. When the girls saw them, their faces paled.

"H-headmaster, K-k-King O-Odin," stuttered the antagonist, looking at the two men with apprehension.

"Girls, please. You have only been here for a few days, and here you are already doing something like that." said the headmaster with a kind but disappointed voice.

"It's not what you think it is!" she screamed in response.

The old man's gaze stiffened. "Who do you think you are to talk to us like that when you are clearly in the wrong?"

"B-but-" she didn't have time to finish talking as Odin interrupted her. "You disappoint me, not even assuming your wrongdoings! Now, go. I don't want to see you ever lie to our face or you shall face the consequence of it!"

With that, they nodded in fear and ran away.

With a proud smile, I looked at Galadriel, catching her almost bursting out laughing. Her eyes met mine, and we started laughing in triumph.

The drama had been created, and we had successfully pranked our target.

Unfortunately for them, this is only the beginning.

Guys, do any of you have any tips on how I could get better in grammar? Just yesterday I got two reviews saying my grammar was shit and so I want to change that, but the problem is I can't even see where I have grammatically wrong things. You could help also by just pointing out the errors, maybe that'll help me.

This chapter was underwhelming. I have been thinking about a prank for two whole days straight, making me unable to take any advance in writing, but I couldn't come up with a good prank…

Hope you have a good day!
