Chapter 9
Moren
Tie fighters would zoom through the battlefield, guns blasting and star ships exploding, and the empire is winning.
"We can't keep doing this any longer!" one of the smaller fighters would radio in to their mothership. "The hyperdrive is almost back up, just hang in there!" they would radio back, but they would get nothing but static. "Red leader? Red leader?! Etho, are you there?!" She would yell, slamming the table. she would run up to the bridge where the crew are frozen in fear. there is nothing left but scraps of ships, both empirie and rebels. "No...that's...that's not possable. we had at least 10 out while I was talking with Etho...Etho...what kind of monster-"
Etha was cut of by an expolsion in the hull. She turned around and ran to the glass door of the bridge, seeing her felllow rebels fly out into space, to freeze to death, and most of those who hung on where crushed by falling crates. a crate went flying and hit the glass, about to break it and preventing her from seeing, but at the last second, it dropped and gravaity returned. "Thank the force for automatic ship repairs." she said. she slammed the door opened and ran downstairs to help those who have fallen over, but as she begens to help them up, the noticed something; one of the crates where cruched flat, and covering the hole. it wasn't the auto repair.

Shoom!
she heard a sharp loud noise, and saw the blood red blade extend and begen to walk from the shadows, with a loud breathing sound and an ominous presence.
"The empire shows no mercy..."
it would say, holding his hand in the air and began to crush the hull. she stood in complete fear as she watched as her friends in the hull crush the death, screaming and trying to break the window. in seconds, at that remained was a red soaked ball, with blood dripping to the ground.
they all stood in fear as the dark soilder walked his way through, deflecting the bolts and slashing those who remained. All were dead execpt her. she began to accept her fate, closing her eyes and awaiting the cold, swift death...Until the crate blocking the hole snapped in two. the vacume of space was too strong to hold it, and the lightsaber would be yanked out of the hand of the shadowy warrior and fly out of the hole. In second the hole was large enough for one to fly out, and the dead bodys would begin to fly out of the broken ship.
she and the man would try to hang on but where swept away into space. She closed her eyes, feeling as the ice quickly made it all the way up her feet, slowing approching her neck. she would close her eyes, finnally at peace with herself...until she saw a bright light. a ship would exit hyper space and a girl wearing an oxogen mask would jump out and grab her just as she felt her life fading...
She woke up with a jolt.
"What do you mean where practicly out of food?!" she would hear a man scream, sounding of his early twentys.
"Oh, so your blaming me?" a girl screamed, sound of her late teens.
"Yes, im blaming you! I told you to go shopping on Aeos!"
"How am i suppoed to go shoping in the middle of the ocean!?"
"I don't know, you figure it out!"
they would got at this for almost an hour. the girl would stumble her way into the medbay, obviously annoyed.
"What ever. just..what food do we have left?" she would say, and began looking around for a small bandge to wrap a cut she made while playing with a knife earlier.
"lets see..." he would pull out a tablet and walk into the room. "some milk...a few meloruns...and-Oh my brother shes awake!" he would say, jolting at the sight of the girl.
"Oh my what?" she would say, turning around to the man while rapping her finger. the man would point behind her and she would turn around and jolt backwards too.
"Oh my sister shes awake!" "and your telling me in saying weird stuff." she would try to smack him, but he would dodge it and walk over to greet the girl.
"Are you OK? you hurt? thirsty? Hungry?" he would say, walking up to the girl with obvious concern.
"Im fine...and you are?"
"You first." the girl would say, flipping a metal stick.
"Bonnie, what the hell!' the man would say.
"..the entire point of that was to hide our names..." she would say, obviously getting angry. "Well, if your going to burt out names, ill yell yours too, Moren!"
"My name is Etha." she would say, and it would quickly end their fighting. "Where are we?" she would say.
"About a jump or two away from the battle field. where in the middle of hyperspace, and where gonna head down to Naboo for refill and to get some food."
"oh..." she would say, grabbing the small pocket knife put of her pocket and stare at it.
a sharp beeping sound would be emmited from Morens small tablet. he would take it out from under his arm and open it up.
"were here."
Bonnie would hoister the weapon and walk out, and Etha would try to get up, but felt a sharp pain in her chest.
"Don't get up until we land. we found you with a small metal shard in your back, maybe from a crate or something."
Moren would say, walking out of the room.
a few minutes later, they landed. Moren came back to the medbay to get Etha.
"You feeling ok?"
"yeah, I think I'm good to go." Etha would respond
"good. where heading out. come on."
Moren and Etha met Bonnie at the door to the ship. the doors opened up and they stepped out side into capital of naboo, Theed.
"I don't want to drag you into this, but a contact of ours gave us a job to collect a spice shipment coming through theed. we then need to take this shipment to Atollon to help with the medic bay there." Moren told Etha.
"Oh, I'm in. Just one question: I've never heard of Atollon before. where is it?" Etha asked.
Moren chuckled. "off the charts." he said, and began to walk towards a shipment checkpoint.
"I would have landed closer to the checkpoint but they have turrets and would shoot me down on sight. my ship has a bit of a... reputation, if you will." Moren would say, sighing.
"so then why did you land in a public landing bay?" Etha asked.
"Apparently Moren knows the guy who works that one. something about saving his life back on tattoine a few years ago." Bonnie said.
"ok, check points just up there. here's the plan." moren said, pointing towards a guarded gate and ducking into a nearby ally.
"Bonnie, take your sniper out and take position on that building two blocks away. me and Etha are going to wait until the shipment passes through the gate and then where going to highjack it. once we got it, I'll signal you and then I need you to take the ship down to the nearby Gungan swamp. we can load the spice and take of there. understand?" Moren asked, and Etha and Bonnie shooke their heads.
Bonnie sprinted down across the street to the other ally and climbed up to a building.
"let's get over that wall." Moren said, grabbing Ethas hand and sprinting towards the wall at the other side of the ally.
" wait wait wait!" Etha shouted, and Moren force jumped over the wall and landed peacefully, with Etha right next to him, terrified.
"happy landing." Moren said.
"Did you hear that scream?" a stormtrooper guard said. the other one shook his head. "I'll check it out." The second trooper said, climbing down a latter and moved towards the sound
"if anyone's out there, surrender now! If I don't find you with your hands up I will shoot you!" the trooper announced.
"quickly, into the tree line." Moren whispered, and they dashed into the trees, watching as the trooper looked around. "it was probably one of those bird things. you know how they act. Kaw! Kaw!" the trooper joked, and the other one laughed.
"oh right, your good to pass." the trooper said, handing back a man his ID.
"ok, that's our guy." Moren said, running after the cart.
"dumbass low ranks. if I was on duty right now, they would be so embarrassed."
the man said, scratching his arm.
"I can help with that." Moren said, sitting right next to him.
"wait what the-" the driver said, but Moren punched him in the face, knocking him out instantly.
"what do we do with him? Etha said, jumping on to the cart, next to Moren.
"we need to keep him. he mentioned he was a high ranking trooper. if we let him go and he woke up, we could have a big problem on our hands. tie him up." Moren said, handing her a rope that he was sitting on."
he signaled to Bonnie using a flashlight, and rode down to the meeting spot.
a few minutes later, Bonnie landed the ship, but not before hitting a tree.
"Oh, come on!" Moren shouted.
the hatch opened, and the three started loading the spice. halfway through, an man came walking from the tree line.
"Hello. I'm looking for someone." the man said, making sure his identity was secure. he had a black robe, but had no gloves, and showed he had while skin with red here and there.
"he's a zabrak, gray skin, wears casual clothing... now that I think about it, you lock just like him. what's your name? the man said. Both Bonnie and Moren turned to him, sceptical of his next move.
"Ling. my name's Ling. and yours?" Moren asked, reaching behind his back.
"Ling Oh, well thats unfortunate..." the masked man said, and both Bonnie and Moren sighed.
"the man I'm looking for also goes by ling." the man threw of his cloak, showing his pure while face, red streaks all over, a black jump suit, and lightning yellow eyes.
"Inquisitor!" Bonnie shouted, and the man ignited his double sided red lightsaber.
"You may call me the grand inquisitor. Lord Vader has heard of your exploits, so contradictions. you earned a spot on his kill first list." Grand Inquisitor said, walking slowly towards Moren and Bonnie.
"and you, my friend, has earned a spot on my kill now list." Moren responded, angering the inquisitor.
"Die!" the inquisitor shouted, running towards the two.
More ignited his rose and white blade, and took a defense stance.
"Bonnie, now!" Moren shouted, and Bonnie taped her wrist, igniting a shield like energy weapon, when then grabbed a small handle on the side, turning of the shield and turning on her lightsaber.
"On it!" Bonnie replied, attacking the inquisitor from behind. the inquisitor dropped down, dodging the attack, and both Bonnie and Moren jumped back.
"you have no right!" the inquisitor shouted, dashing towards Bonnie and striking her, but she quickly disingaged her light saber, Turing on the shield and blocking.
"it's connect through a energy channel. if one turns off, the other turns on. Bonnie said, smirking at her lightsabers utility.
"No matter!" the inquisitor said, sweeping her feet and using the force to catch he before she landed, and slammed her down.
"you are weak!" the inquisitor shouted, about to stab Bonnie. using the force, she moved the blade to the left, narrowly dodging her head.
"hup!" Moren shouted, and drop kicked the inquisitor in the back, landing on his feet and then force jumping into the air, and then using the force to increase his speed while falling back, landing on the inquisitor's back.
"enough of these games!" the inquisitor put a thermal bomb on Morens leg, forcing him to jump off of the inquisitor and disarm it.
"you have fought well. troopers!"
the inquisitor raised his hand up, and about 20 storm troopers ran out of the tree line, aiming at the tree line.
"the spice was a trap. we had a heart monitor on that trooper you knocked out, so when his heart started slowing while he was sleeping, it set off an alarm, alerting us of your location. now, you will die." the inquisitor said, dropping his hand to his side, and the troopers opened fire.
Moren and Bonnie ducked behind the spice that as left outside.
"we have to get to the ship!" Moren shouted, point at his ship, but the door was already closed, and the ship flew away.
"Etha, you-" Moren was cut of, and the ship came back around blasting the troopers and sending them into disarray.
the ship landing in front of the troopers and continued shooting at them.
"Finish loading!" Etha shouted over a comm link".
"ready? now!" Moren told Bonnie, and the two lifted the last of the spice and pushed it into the ship using the force.
they the ran into the ship.
"start the engine but keep the door open!" Moren shouted to Etha.
the ship turns around, with the back now facing the inquisitor and the remaining troopers.
"hey, inquisitor," Moren shouted. "catch!" moren tossed the thermal detonator out of he ship, salutted the inquisitor and closed the door. as the ship blasted away.
"hey Moren, when didn't you blow up the bomb?" Bonnie said, confused as they sat in the ship.
"It made him even madder. I can tell." Moren sad with a smirk.
Moren walked to the bridge and thanked Etha.
"ok. Now to Alloton." Moren said, pressing the button to start the hyperdrive.
