"Hey there sleepy head! About time you woke up." Mina grinned as Uraraka slowly sat up lazily fluttering her eyes open. "didn't you get any sleep yesterday?"
"Yeah, I guess I'm still a bit tired from the last few days." She mumbled as she lazily walked towards the bathroom.
"Alright well if you're up to it, the girls and I are going to the lake. The guys said something about a barbecue."
"Ok that sounds like fun! I'll go and get ready, but I can't stay too long since I promised Shinso I'd help him train."
"Oh, Shinso huh?" Mina wiggled her eyebrows suggestively.
"It's not like that."
"Sure, it's not." she giggled.

Heading over to the lake once everyone had finished getting ready, they already saw some of their classmates setting up the grill and tables.
"Oh, hey some of the guys are here." Momo waved at Todoroki, Iida, Kirishima, Bakugo and Sato.
"Hey, do you boys need any help?" Mina happily skipped over as the rest followed.
"No. You just stay away from the food until it's ready raccoon eyes." Bakugo said kneeling down checking the grill as Kirishima started pulling the meat out.
"Fine." Rolling her eyes, she walked over to Iida to help him with the chairs.
Uraraka made sure to keep her distance from the blond helping Sato place the tablecloths, plates, cups, and utensils down. Her eyes beamed as she felt her mouth water at the sight of all of the delicious deserts laid out in front of her. Trying not to droll any more than she already was, she gleefully smiled up at him. "Sato this all looks so delicious! I can't believe you made all this!"
Scratching his head, he grinned "It's really no big deal. I'm just glad I could help."
"Sure, it is! I wish I could make something like this." She grinned. "May I have one?"
"Sorry. No can do. Bakugos orders. No one is allowed to have any until dinner."
"What?" Slouching her shoulders, she glared at the hot head before looking back at Sato with puppy dog eyes. "Please…just a tiny little-"
"NO! If you eat that shit now, then you won't eat dinner!" Bakugo shouts with his back still turned as he stands up wiping his hands. "I swear it's like being around a bunch of damn kindergarteners." He mumbled making Kirishima laugh.
"Oh, come on!"
"Sorry Uraraka you know how stern Bakugo can be when it comes to food." Sato grins holding up his hands.
Pouting, she continued to help him as they talked while still keeping her eyes on the wonderful desserts. Once she was done, she walked over to Todoroki who was placing drinks inside the cooler.
"Hey Todoroki. Need any help?" she smiled.
Shaking his hair from his eyes he lifted a hand to block the sun. "Sure. Thank you."
"No problem."
After a few minutes she stood up wiping the sweat from her forehead and tied her hair in a messy bun.
"Are you ok?"
Nodding her head, she saw Todoroki staring up at her. "It's just really hot today." She said as she kneeled back down.
"Oh." He frowned for a moment contemplating before leaning closer. "Here, let me..."
Placing his hand in front of her face he gently released a cool breeze making her close her eyes smiling at the sudden relief. Careful not to go overboard he moved from her forehead to the rest of her face.
"There. Is that better?" He asked removing his hand.
Smiling brightly, she giggled "Yes thank you Todoroki! That was great. You're like my very own personal fan" she joked.
Watching his lips turn into a gentle smile as he continued to work on adding ice into the cooler they continued to talk.
"Hey guys! Need any more?" Momo walked up with more drinks smiling.
"Yes, thank you Momo!" Uraraka ushers her over. "Todoroki is a big help, if it weren't for him, I don't know where we would get that much ice." She chuckles squinting at Momo. "Wanna help?"
"Of course."

"-but then Kaminari said…." Realizing that he was talking to himself, Kirishima stood up looking annoyed at Bakugo who was placing the food on the grill.
"Hey, you're not even listening!"
"The fuck you're talking about Shitty hair. I never do."
"That may be true." He said crossing his arms as he again caught Bakugo occasionally looking sideways.
Tilting his head, trying to see what he kept looking at, he rolled his eyes. "Can you at least pretend to listen. Instead of being so distracted."
"Tch, I'm not."
"Dude you so are! I mean you didn't even hear anything I was saying, and it could have been important."
"And was it?" Flipping some of the meat he points the spatula at him "and I'm not fuckin distracted."
"Sure, you're not." Kirishima grinned before hearing Uraraka let out another giggle and Bakugo gritting his teeth. "Anyways, where were you yesterday? I thought I was going to pass out from covering for you."
"Nowhere."
"Oh yeah? Well, you know Ema has been looking all over for you right?"
Frowning, he looked at the red head questioningly. "Who?"
Groaning Kirishima dragged his hand through his face. "You're kidding right? Ema. Blue haired girl my cousin introduced you to…."
"Oh, that chick." He nodded understanding. "Like I give a damn. She's annoying as fuck and won't leave me the hell alone." Pausing he points at his eyes grimacing "Plus, she does this weird thing with her eyes. It's really irritating."
Laughing Kirishima place his hand on Bakugos shoulder to steady himself. "Dude she was probably trying to flirt and get your attention."
"Flirt?"
"Yeah." He said grinning watching Bakugo frown still staring at him. "You know what, never mind. So…you don't like her then?"
"I just said she's fuckin annoying, didn't I?"
"Well yeah but you say that about everyone. You even said the same about Uraraka."
"Yeah, she is too…." Hesitating he refocused his attention on the food in front of him. "But it's different."
Grinning from ear-to-ear Kirishima crossed his arms "Oh? How so?"
Narrowing his eyes at the smug looking Kirishima "It just is ok! Unlike the rest of you idiots, there are times she is somewhat tolerable."
"Huh…I see."
"Who is tolerable?" Kaminari walks in between both boys checking on the food.
"Tch, not you."
"Oh well I'm going to pretend that didn't hurt" he pouted before rubbing his stomach "but how much longer until the food is ready? I'm starving!"
"We just started Kaminari." Kirishima slapped him on the shoulder.
"It'll be ready when its ready dumbass."

By the time the food was done everyone was happily eating and chatting away. Getting his plate together Bakugo looked around again for what felt like the hundredth time scowling.
"Yo Bakubro the food is delicious man!" Sera claps him on the back. "Can I have more?"
"Tch. Did everyone grab a plate already tape face?"
"Uh…" Quickly looking around at everyone "I think so. Well, everyone except Uraraka and Shinso I think."
"Don't fuckin tell me she already stuffed her face with sugar man's desserts?!" Bakugo groaned while rubbing his temple.
"Uh…I don't think so. Well as far as I know anyways. I saw her and Shinso head off together that way." He pointed towards the forest.
"What?!" Bakugo whirled around clenching his fists. "Why?!"
Scratching his head Sero smiled "I think they said something about training…"
Scowling Bakugo shoved his plate at Sero while storming away grumbling to himself.
"Hey man does that mean I can have this?" Shrugging Sero just walked off to sit next to everyone.

They had found a nice little clearing to train in. Since everyone was busy out by the lake Uraraka decided now was the perfect time. Plus, she really wanted to keep her mind busy and what better way than to train and help Shinso.
"Ok now this can help you to block and control a punch whenever you see an attack coming."
Nodding Shinso wiped the sweat from his forehead slightly panting.
Rolling her shoulders, she smiled as she stepped in front of him. "Ok Shinso attack me."
"Huh?"
She smiled reassuringly at him "It's alright. Just pretend that you're about to attack me."
"Are you sure?" he frowned.
"Yes, you want to get better, right? So let me help."
"Alright if you say so…" Shinso readied himself before running towards her.
She quickly moved to the side and parried the attack with her hand redirecting it using his own force and movements against him. Leaning over she made sure to put some pressure on his neck and locking his elbow in place so he couldn't move.
Panting he laughed "Alright, well you weren't kidding when you said you wouldn't take it easy on me huh?" He looked up at her smiling.
Releasing her hold on him she grinned. "I do have to say. From what I've seen so far Shinso, you have made a lot of progress from before. I'm impressed."
Picking up his towel, he walked closer to her "Thanks. That means a lot. I'm actually also glad to be able to spend more time with you."
Curiously tilting her head to the side, she stared at him. "Really? How come?"
"Isn't it obvious?" Smirking, he took another step closer. Uraraka wasn't aware of how close he already stood waiting for him to continue.
Blinking up at him slightly confused and trying to understand what he meant. She suddenly felt his finger brush her cheek and place a strand of hair behind her ear as she could feel her cheeks flush.
"Shinso?"
Watching him slowly tilt his head leaning forward, her eyes slowly widened before noticing someone standing a few feet away.
"Bakugo!"
Startled they both looked in his direction as he stood there watching them clenching his fists. Feeling her face redden even more she quickly looked away.
"What are you doing here?" Shinso asked looking annoyed.
Bakugo looked between the two before landing on her again. Clenching his jaw, he felt his palms smoking.
"Why? Am I interrupting something?"
Slowly meeting his gaze. She regretted it the moment she did. He looked furious, disappointed, and hurt….'No that can't be right.'
"Well as a matter of fact you did." Shinso said glaring at him.
Looking between both boys she frowned at the obvious tension and didn't even know why it was there to begin with. "Shinso and I were just training."
Clicking his tongue, he looked between the two one more time before turning and walking away shoving his hands in his pockets. "Foods ready."
"Bakugo wait-" she started moving to follow him but Shinso grabbed her hand.
"Just let him go. Who knows what his problem is now."
"I guess…" she said removing her hand and rubbing her arm. "Either way we should probably head back for dinner."
"Right. After you." He nodded.

After they made it back, they sat down and ate with their usual group. Still frowning from what happened before, she looked at Shinso who was sitting next to her talking to Deku before trying to find the familiar spiky haired boy.
He was sitting next to his usual set of friends with Kaminari and Mina excitedly talking away while he was sitting crossed legged with his palm holding his chin looking bored. She tried making eye contact with him to see if he was ok but for some reason, he just avoided her direction all together.
After finishing her plate, she saw him get up and walk towards one of the tables. "Here's my chance.' She thought as she stood up determined. She didn't know why she felt like she needed to talk to him about what he saw earlier, she just knew she had to.
"I'm going to get more food." She told everyone as she got up.
She nervously started fidgeting with the sleeves of her shirt as she got closer to the table. 'Why am I so nervous?' Biting down on her bottom lip she stared at his back as she started opening her mouth "Ba-"
"Hey there stranger!" Ema smiled as walked up standing next to him as he finished filling up his plate.
"Tch. What do you want?" he scowled kneeling down to pick up a water bottle from the cooler.
"Nothing much I was just looking for you." She winked at him.
Suddenly feeling stupid and embarrassed just standing there watching them. Uraraka took a few steps back before feeling her back hit something hard as she momentarily lost balance. Feeling a hand on her shoulder to steady her she looked back to see a concerned Todoroki. "You, ok?"
"Um yeah…" she sheepishly grinned.
Nodding towards the table he looked back at her "You were on your way to get seconds, correct?"
"Yeah, But I changed my mind." She scratched her neck awkwardly.
Frowning he looked towards Ema and Bakugo before his eyes set back on Uraraka. "So, you're not hungry?"
"Eh? I mean… I didn't say that-"
"Then let's go." He gently nudges her from behind while she pouts letting him lead her to the table.
"Oh hi! Are you here to get more food" Ema smiled sweetly as they made their way over.
"Hi, yes we are." Todoroki says looking between the two. "I hope we aren't intruding."
"Not at all." Ema says as she looks Todoroki up and down biting her lip.
"You're Shoto Todoroki, right?" Watching him nod as the stoic boy starts putting food on his plate. "Nice to meet you Shoto. I'm Ema."
Waiting for Uraraka to start taking some food, Todoroki looks back at Ema. "Todoroki's fine."
"Right of course." She smiles.
Quickly looking at Uraraka, Todoroki discreetly tried urging her with his eyes to hurry up and finish.
"Oh, hey Uraraka! I didn't see you there. How's everything?"
Seeing Bakugos back suddenly tense up she smiled back. "Oh, hey Ema. I'm doing good thanks for aski-"
"So, what do you guys think about Bakugos cooking? Isn't it amazing?" Ema looked at the blond.
Clenching her fists Uraraka tried her hardest to keep the smile on her face as she watched Bakugo turn around with a calm expression on his face.
"Of course, it is. Everything I cook is fuckin amazing." He says taking a bite from his burger.
"I bet." Ema says batting her eyelashes.
Frowning in confusion Todoroki tilts his head "What's wrong with your eyes?"
Smirking Bakugo takes another bite looking away.
"What do you mean?" she smiled fluttering her eyelashes.
"You should perhaps get that checked out by a professional doctor before it can get worse." Todoroki said.
Chuckling Bakugo starts coughing before reaching for his drink and walking back to his group.
Recovering from her initial shock, looking back at Bakugo. Ema forces a grin before following after him "Hey um Bakugo lets go sit together!"
Lifting a curious eyebrow at Uraraka who was still staring at the pair walking off together.
"Was it something I said?" Todoroki asks her.
Giggling she shakes her head "No silly. Let's hurry up and get back to the others." She says as she tugs on his arm leading them back.
