[Ildathach, North Sea]

"I would greet you but you are already aware of my presence, Nate Grey." came the voice of the sentient ward terminal Nate designed for his island. He looked like a thirty years old man wearing dark blue robes. While wearing a serene smile.

"And you are?" Nate asked.

"I am…Miach. That is what your directives have named me. I am named after a god."

"You are named after one. Tell me - do you think you are a real life. Have I performed a miracle in creating you?" Nate asked impulsively. He was pretty sure that Miach was not a real life but an animation charm attuned to memories and contextual reasoning.

"No, I am not real life Mr Grey. I could best be described as a spirit that has been granted memories and sentience through magic. I am a magical artifact of the highest order."

"The memories and animation charm should have only allowed for the formation of semi-sapient artifact, not of one with self awareness." Nate muttered thinking of what caused the evolution of his central terminal.

"Ah! That I can tell you Master Grey is because of the blood wards joining up the wardstone. I am not too sure of how it interacted with the other wards and enchantments since the only knowledge I have is of Languages and common nuisances on creatures and plants. I have no knowledge of magic."

Nate shrugged at the accusing tone Miach took, "Can't have an island sentience with magical knowledge, too risky." He then added looking thoughtful, "What I also want to know is, how the hell do you even have a physical body?"

Miach shrugged, "I am making use of the light and sound components of the weather charm to replicate a human body."

Nate was flabbergasted at the admittance because this was a very high level control of the wards the termianl was showing. Then he shrugged helplessly and said,"Just don't go malicious."

"I can't. Primary directive, Master." said the spirit tapping his temple.

"So, what plans can you come up with for the future of Ildathatch? Keep in mind, your primary directives take precedence over any plans you can come up with." At Nate's warning, Miach rolled his eyes and said, "I would like you to create simple Earth golems and anchor a charm that could allow me to control them. Is it possible with magic."

"It is but what are you going to do without any raw material?"

"Labour?" The spirit looked at him expectantly.

"Golems sound useless. I could do hundreds of times the work they could in mere minutes." Nate said arrogantly.

"You could but my memories tell me you plan to provide me with creatures and plants to grow for the next year or so. I will need golems to control growth and keep the residential and commercial designated areas free."

Nate grimaced remembering his Herbology lessons and said, "Done. What else do you need, my dear spirit of Ildathach?"

Miach chuckled lightly, "I would hope for a method to communicate?"

"Please easily achieved tasks." Nate said rolling his eyes, while inwardly he was sweating and realising the holes in his planning.

"Master Grey, finally I would like to make the tower you had planned using the golems while you handle the magical aspects. I would also like you to give me knowledge and an illusion for the tower."

Eddard cast an illusion of the tower he imagined when he put the idea in the spirit's mind.

"Hmmmm….", The spirit observed the tower intently, "It is achivable by using a combination of golems for me if you provide the raw materials. I could get it done ver quickly, right there." Miach pointed towards the largest hill on Ildathach.

"That's amazing. The other things I need done is for you to learn these and these." Nate was feeling giddy as he could now dump all of the work he had been doing on translation on the newly created spirit. He dumped around dictionaries and a few other books on Miach who would learn these languages from his bottomless pouch. This could cut the time he would require for Time Manipulation studies tremendously .

"Tamil, Japanese, Gaelic, Armaic and Greek." Miach read the titles of the dictionaries, "I will learn these as fast as I can sir."

"Ok now go away, let me cast the spells you needed."

Miach disappeared while the books still laid on the rock, Nate had thrown them on.

Nate upholstered his wand and waved it around with a flourish.

The earth around himself rose up and slowly started taking the shape of giant earth golems. When it looked like around twenty of the golems that he had constructed were finished shaping up. He flourished his wand again this time a blue flame erupted out of its tip.

The blue flames, Ignis Stellarum, as they are called immediately started burning the golems up. But instead of how normally they would burn through the rock they started fusing the earth into stone that too, quite rapidly.

Nate repeated this procedure for three minutes, after which he had around three hundred golems.

He cast another charm on these golems, " Actio Imperium."

Followed by casting a linking rune on the wardstone.

As soon as he finished his spells the golems started moving, though there movements were duller than a normal man's, they were definitely stronger than any man to have ever lived.

He cast the final spell that he thought would be required for the day that was, " Nuntius nexus", it was a charm that would allow for communication between the caster and object via a very tiny magical pulse when either side wanted.

"Well that is all said and done. I will soon return from the manor to drop of the future cattle and plants for this place." As Nate said this he used his magic to activate his portkey to return home.
