Chapter 26: Lords in Danger

Both brothers hurried along the trees of the Forest Nation as fast as they could. However, Nick was incredibly slow now since he transformed so Toby had to stop for a few seconds to allow him to catch up. Unfortunately, it took both boys around 5 times for Nick to catch up as the screams became louder and louder. Toby's heart was going so fast that he couldn't hear his breathing going really hard as well.

It wasn't until he finally reached the sound when he saw…

"JESSICA!"

Toby almost lost his voice when he spotted Jessica trapped in an earth-like cage. Its molten claws almost made her crawl into a little ball which made her look very innocent almost like a toddler. She allowed one of her arms pass through one of the molten bars that trapped her.

Toby couldn't believe what he was seeing. His friend was in trouble! There has to be someway to free her. Maybe…

"Nick!" he felt himself calling upon his little brother's name before racing towards Jessica.

Nick just managed to catch up when he saw Toby going to the cage.

"Toby! Are you alright?" he answered in exhaustion. Then he suddenly realised only Jessica was there. "Hold on. Where's Luc-"

"Here I am!" called a voice that sound exactly like Lucas. "But I haven't got a clue where-"

"Tell us later!" screamed Toby in frustration. "Nick, I need you to break this cage now!"

"And please don't crush me if you can!" called Jessica from the cage.

Nick felt his stomach twist in frustration. He was stuck with two difficult choices. Either he could find Lucas, wherever he could be or freeing Jessica from her prison. Nick hated making difficult choices most of all. Somehow, his mind was being to roll around between the two options he had. This was so difficult for him to work out. How could he choose which-

"NICK!"

Toby's voice was almost on the verge of breaking down. Eventually, Nick decided to save Jessica first. Running the best as he could over to the cage, he transformed one of his arms into a boulder. Swinging it over his head, he then slammed it onto one the rocky bars of Jessica's prison. One by one, the rocks began to crumble fell down to the ground almost like boulders.

Jessica began to crawl back in panic but she too remembered something else. Facing her hands out in front of her, she created a small tornado to stop the rocky bars from hitting her. She then used that tornado to flip the bars over her head and threw them out to the ocean.

Toby sighed at relief that Jessica was setting herself free with the help of Nick. He almost placed his hand on his throat due to all the loud shouts and scream he had to call his little brother over. Overcome with exhaustion, he landed on his back before the world went black.

Toby weakly opened his eyes the same as he did when he first came back from Gorm. Expect that it wasn't the Primal Pad at all. He was still in the Forest Area, but the ground below him was softer than before.

"Toby!" Jessica's voice rang out. "I'm honestly glad you're awake!"

"Uhhh…" Toby felt the grass below him with his hand slowly. Then he noticed Jessica was in front of him. "Jess!" he gasped in surprise. "It's you!"

"Well of course," Jessica responded back in confusion.

Toby blinked his eyes once again. "And Lucas?"

Lucas grabbed a bark hand to pull Toby up. "I'm still here," Lucas replied.

"Lucas was also in the same trap as Jessica was but I luckily freed him," Nick explained to his older brother confidently. "But then after that I saw you passing out because…"

"Because I getting tired for you and I almost lost my voice," Toby added, feeling guilty that he had to shout at his brother. "Sorry for doing that."

Nick patted his hand on Toby's shoulder. "No worries," he answered back.

Toby felt relieved that everyone was back but still…there was one person still missing from the line-up.

"Where is Razzle?" he asked worriedly.

"Here I am!" Razzle's voice exclaimed but he wasn't there physically.

The group looked around calling Razzle's name. There was no point in splitting up now just as when they all got back together. They just had to keep trying.

It hadn't been too long until Jessica spotted Razzle's face in the air. Whirling around, she panicked at the sight of the lizard.

"AAAAH!" the lizard's face screamed along with Jessica.

The boys rushed over to Jessica's side but were also confused by the picture in the air.

"Razzle?" wondered Lucas in shock. "How did you…?"

"Oh! Sorry to scare you again!" the lizard said apologetically. "Now before you kids ask, I'm actually back in the Primal Pad to keep a good eye on you. I also taken your power orbs as well just for safety."

Toby was dumfounded. "But why? We need you here!"

The image of Razzle sighed. "I know. And I'm sorry that I didn't tell you this soon but I think its time you faced Magmion on your own."

Every single one of the group had looked at each other in shock. It was shocking enough that Razzle went back to the Primal Pad on his own but the fact they have to fact the Lava Gormiti together without him? This proved to be more difficult than any other activity or part of their lives that they have even done.

Jessica once again turned towards Razzle's image. "So, what are you going to do while we face off the Lava Gormiti?" she asked in concern. "You can join us if you wish too,"

"I'm too small, Jessica!" Razzle pointed out in anger. "And anyway, I don't think I'll be able to help you lot expect give you advice about Gorm,"

Nick felt a bit sorry for the lizard. Being so small wasn't exactly easy for Razzle at all. After all, it was difficult fighting Lava Gormiti when you're the size of a tiny bug.

"I understand," he simply replied with a grateful bow. "Thanks for everything that you have done for us so far."

"Please update us on anything!" proclaimed Lucas, waving Razzle goodbye.

Razzle gave a little wave before his image disappeared into thin air.

"Ok, so now what?" begged Toby with so many questions in his mind.

"We do what we said we do at the beginning," Nick addressed the rest of the group. "We go to the lava territory, find the rest of the missing Gormiti and SAVE BOTH of our worlds!" He went further ahead of the others before turning around to face them properly. "I meant what I say by the fact that we are Lords of Nature. There's no time now to panic or pretend that we are going home now, we have a purpose to do here in Gorm! By combing all of our strengths we will be able to protect Gorm from any more dark forces!"

Toby suddenly felt himself cheering for his younger brother. So did Jessica, and then Lucas. Nick felt his heart being suddenly light up from seeing all the clapping. He was glad to see everyone was on his side and that was exactly what the group needed.

"Well then," Nick replied with smile before looking up at the sky. "Magmion, I'd hope you're prepared because the new Lords of Nature are coming for you!"
