"Stop trying to peek, it's a surprise Q!" Santana giggled as she led Quinn inside the room. She had just finished Charlie's room and wanted to show Quinn. Santana was still full of paint on her body and hair, but she was too excited to clean it off, wanting to show her girlfriend first. "Okay, you can look now." She said, uncovering the blonde's eyes.

Quinn gasped as soon as she saw the room. "San, it's perfect." The room was painted a simple light green, the walls were still bare. But it was fully furnished. It was like what they had envisioned had finally come true. They could finally see it. "I love it."

"I think we could paint something on the walls, I really didn't want to try because I would've fucked it up. But it's something." Santana said shily.

"San, you made our daughter's room all by yourself, thank you. Maybe we can paint something on the walls together after she's born, when I can stand on my feet for more than half an hour." The blonde had started to become more and more uncomfortable as time passed. She didn't know how she was going to endure another month.

"Sounds like a plan." Santana said and kissed Quinn's cheek.

Quinn had been stirring in bed for a while, having a hard time falling asleep. Her bump was big enough to not find a comfortable position to sleep in. No matter what she did, she was uncomfortable. She didn't want to wake Santana because the brunette was sleeping peacefully next to her. She knew Santana would worry about her, and she wanted Santana to rest too. At least one of them had to be able to get some sleep. Still, Santana woke up after feeling Quinn moving again.

"Q, are you okay?" Santana asked sleepily.

"I'm okay San, go back to sleep." Quinn tried to ease her worries.

"What time is it, why are you awake?" Santana ignored what Quinn said and propped herself up on her elbows, trying to find her phone to look at the time.

"Go back to sleep, San." Quinn said, trying to convince her.

"It's 2 AM Q, why are you awake? Is the baby kicking a lot?" Santana mumbled while rubbing the sleep from her eyes.

"Go back to sleep Santana." Quinn said sternly.

"No, are you uncomfortable?" The brunette asked.

Quinn began to tear up and nodded. "I don't know why. It's like I'm hot and cold at the same time, and I can't find a comfortable enough position to sleep in. And I feel like I don't have enough space. And I just want to sleep." Quinn explained tiredly with tears in her eyes.

"Okay, how about I grab the maternity pillow and I go sleep in the guest room so you can be comfortable?" Santana offered.

"No, I don't want you to be so far away. And I can't kick you out of your bed." Quinn whined.

Santana felt so bad that Quinn was this uncomfortable. "It's our bed, and you're not kicking me out, I'm offering. How 'bout I look for that pillow and stay with you until you fall asleep?" Quinn just nodded and Santana went to look for the pillow. She was back quickly and helped the blonde find a comfortable position. "Is that good?" She asked her. Quinn nodded. "Is it too hot?" The pregnant woman shook her head and Santana sat down next to her, running her fingers through her hair.

Quinn started to drift off slowly, and Santana waited to make sure she was actually asleep and left the room. She decided to sleep on the couch because the guest room was too far away. Maybe Quinn needed her in the middle of the night and she wouldn't hear her because she was too far away. She laid down on the surprisingly comfortable couch with a huff, hoping that this wouldn't happen every night for the rest of the pregnancy.

Santana woke up to the sound of steps in the living room. She slowly opened her eyes and saw her mother making her way to the kitchen.

"Morning." Santana yawned.

"Holy shit." Maribel jumped, cared. "You scared me Santana! What the hell are you doing sleeping on the couch? Did Quinn kick you out? What did you do?" The older woman was ready to berate her child.

"Chill out, I didn't do anything. Quinn was really uncomfortable last night and said she wanted space, so I gave her some."

"Oh, that still doesn't explain why you're sleeping on the couch mija, we have a guest room." Maribel said, trying to hide how proud of her daughter she was.

"I didn't want to be so far away from her if she needed something." Santana explained, getting off the couch and heading to the kitchen.

Maribel was left standing in the living room, smiling. She had raised her daughter right.

They were going to lose. Santana knew it. Sue was going to crush them, and she couldn't help but feel sad even if she bitched about the club all the time. At least she looked good in the regional's outfit.

"We just gotta keep our heads in the game and focus." Finn said, trying to be encouraging and failing. Santana for sure wasn't going to miss him.

"Even though we know we can't win?" Santana complained.

"Yes." Mr. Schue said as he entered the green room.

The teacher went on to make some big speech about them being a family and blah, blah, blah. Whatever. Santana didn't care about what he was saying, she was too focused on staring at Quinn, who was across from her. Quinn was her family, and will always be.

"Besides, we have something the other groups don't." Mr. Schue continued. "Finn's dancing!"

Everybody laughed and cheered. Santana sighed, they were definitely going to lose.

They had to win. There was no way they were going to lose after that performance. They had a standing ovation. Santana was high on adrenaline, literally nothing could bring her down. She was walking back to the green room with Quinn, both of them with smiles on their faces.

"Quinnie." They heard from the side.

They both stopped and looked at the woman who had called Quinn's name. She was blonde and had blue eyes, nothing like Quinn's, but there was something about the woman that made Santana think of her girlfriend.

"Mom." Quinn said, stunned. Santana's eyes widened comically. "What are you doing here? Is dad okay?"

Santana decided to give them space to talk so she walked a couple of feet further. But stayed close enough to listen in on the conversation. What? She likes to gossip. And what Santana heard was worthy of a soap opera. There was cheating, tattooed freaks, there was kicking people out of houses and broken waters. Wait what? Quinn's water broke?

Ow. That was all Santana could think. She was going to lose her hand. Quinn was squeezing so tight there was no way blood was circulating. They had waited for hours for Quinn to be dilated enough and now it was finally time to start pushing. Santana felt helpless. There was nothing she could do to help her girlfriend. Quinn was crying and screaming and suddenly all of the complications that came with being a teen mother that Santana had read about seemed a thousand times more worrying.

"San, it hurts so bad." Quinn cried while squeezing her hand.

"I know, but you gotta push baby. It'll all be over in a minute and we'll have Charlie with us." Santana encouraged her. She cleaned the sweat on Quinn's forehead with a towel and gave her a kiss there.

"She's crowning." The doctor said and instructed her to push.

"Come on Q, you gotta push now. You can do it." Santana tried to be encouraging, but she couldn't imagine it was working with the amount of pain Quinn was in.

The blonde screamed really loud as she pushed, she had never felt more pain. She laid back down on the bed taking a breath and she heard it, a loud cry filling the room. She laid her head back and a few moments later, her daughter was in her arms.

Santana couldn't be prouder of her girlfriend. Watching her with their daughter in her arms, she knew she was in love. She was in awe of her. She watched as Quinn smiled at the baby and Charlie smiled back at her.

"Do you wanna hold her?" Quinn asked her.

Santana just nodded and accepted her baby. She held her daughter carefully. "Hi Charlie." She smiled down at her. Charlie had Quinn's perfect hazel eyes. Santana couldn't help but to cry at the perfect child she had made. Charlie extended her little arm and grabbed onto Santana's nose with her little fingers. God, she was so small. Santana could feel the tears running down her cheeks, but she was smiling. Her baby was perfect.

"She looks like you." Santana muttered softly to Quinn.

They were watching their daughter sleep peacefully in the nursery with the other babies. Santana was holding Quinn while the blonde rested her head on the brunette's shoulder.

"She has your nose, thank god." Quinn said and the latina laughed.

"She's perfect." Santana said and looked at Quinn. The blonde looked perfect, even if she looked tired, she was perfect. "You look beautiful Quinn."

Quinn just looked at Santana and smiled at her. "We got this, right?"

"Yeah. We got this." Santana said, sure of herself.

Charlie was finally home. Quinn was okay and Charlie was just perfect. It was Charlie's first night sleeping in her room and Santana wanted to make sure everything was perfect. The thing is, Charlie was sleeping just fine and Santana was worrying over her as she slept.

"You can't keep doing this, San." Quinn whispered as she entered the room.

"She's just so small Q." Santana whispered back, not taking her eyes off her daughter.

"I know, but you have to sleep." Quinn tried to reason with her.

"I'm not tired."

"Yes you are, I can see it in your eyes."

"I just don't want anything to happen to her."

"Nothing will happen to her. We won't let anything happen to her." Quinn promised.

"I know, I just-" Santana trailed off. "I'm being an idiot, I'm sorry I kept you awake." She said, looking at her girlfriend.

"Don't worry about it. Just come to bed, I miss you." Quinn extended her hand for Santana to take.

Santana got up from the chair she was sitting in and accepted Quinn's hand. The blonde led her to bed and they both laid there. Santana had her head on Quinn's chest and the blonde was playing with her hair.

"I love you Q." Santana said and looked up at her.

"I love you too, San." Quinn said and pecked her lips.

We're done! I took a long time, I'm sorry. I don't know if this is what I wanted as a last chapter, so maybe I'll make an epilogue or something. My plan is to continue this story to season 2, but I'm not sure if I will do it, knowing myself. So what I plan on doing is writing it all and then relising it. And if I decide that I'm not doing that, then I will try and make that epilogue. If anyone is intrested in helping me with the story of season 2 I'll gladly accept.

Now, I want to say just how proud I am of this story. It was a long journey, and it's my first story. So hopefully there will be more in the future, but this will always be the first one, and I care about it deeply.

Thank you all for following me in this journey and for all the love and support! See you in the next one!
