~Lucius' Point of View~
Lucius was very much looking forward to working with you on the rose garden at the Manor. He adored the memories you two shared and he wanted to bring it back to life again, much like your love had come back to him in such an amazing way.
With his mother finally back in France, Lucius really felt like he could start to make the Manor his own, bring you with him to make sure that you felt as if you belonged there. He planned on having no one else for the rest of his life by his side, and he wanted you to one day be the Lady of the Manor. One day soon he hoped. Just the thought of it made him smile softly and his skin to tingle. He adored you oh so much.
You both hadn't set a time to meet at the Manor, but he knew you were extremely excited to get started, and so as if you both were on one wavelength, he knew if he went to the Manor first that you'd be there soon as well, almost as if you two were magnets that always knew where the other was.
Changing into one of his iconic all black outfits, Lucius apparated straight to the Manor. All was quiet and seemingly in order and Lucius walked out into the gardens first to just make sure you weren't already there working on them without him. Seeing that you hadn't arrived yet, Lucius made his way back inside and made sure to tell the elves to prepare a nice, romantic lunch for the two of you that you could enjoy together outside in one of the many ornate greenhouse pavilions. He smiled knowing you would love to have a lunch surrounded by so many plants and flowers. Making you happy was all he wanted.
Lucius wandered into the library, knowing that was the other room that you guys both adored, and he sat down at one of the desks and waited for you to arrive. On the desk was a random book titled 'Magical Creatures of Scotland,' and so he took it in his hands and began to read it as he waited for you. He was only half paying attention to what he was actually reading, he was mainly just waiting to see your beautiful face once again.
After a bit, Lucius' concentration from the book was fully broken when he heard the light sounds of footsteps walking down one of the halls towards where he was sitting. That was odd…he hadn't heard anyone come in from the main entrance hall downstairs.
Surely it had to be you though, Lucius had made sure you were the only other person who could enter the Manor from all of the protective charms that surrounded it. He couldn't think that his Mother would have allowed anyone else to be able to enter the Manor, she was very strict as it was, even with him it seemed since last time he had come to the Manor, she had had the house elves report to her that he had been back.
Lucius stood up, expecting your beautiful face to appear in the entrance to the library, he already had his classic smirk on his face as he anticipated you, but the smirk was immediately wiped off his face when he saw that the person who had entered the Manor was in fact not you at all.
Lucius stared at the intruder, a small woman with pointed features, her icy stare looking at Lucius like he was a prey of some sort. She had a smirk on her face ironically as she stalked into the room. At first Lucius had no idea who she was, but then as she came closer, he began to recognize her. Ophelia. She had been about his age, but had been a daughter of one of his Mother's friends in France; one of the most pure blooded Wizarding families in all of France to be exact. His parents had had Lucius and the young witch mingle many times before, in the hopes that they would like each other and become a couple; securing the power of their pure blood families. Lucius had of course never been interested. Even when he had been younger, before you and him had become a couple at Hogwarts, he had never been interested. To him, this person had always just been the daughter of his parents' friends…nothing to him. He had given her as much attention as he would have a fallen leaf on the ground; which is why it took him so long to remember he had indeed seen this person before.
"What…are you doing here…?" Lucius said, as he stood still behind the desk he had been at as he looked at the witch with narrowed eyes of suspicion.
"Your mother sent me," Ophelia said with a sickly sweet voice. "I've been checking in everyday to see if you had returned. Your mother said you might be back once she left…It'll hurt her to know she was right once I tell her…"
"How did you get in here?" Lucius said through gritted teeth. "No one should be able to get in here besides those who have been permitted"
"Your mother opened one of the Floo lines for me. I come through the Drawing Room," she said as she flitted over closer to where Lucius was standing behind the desk.
"It's so good to see you again," Ophelia continued on, "Your mother thought we could rekindle what we had."
"Rekindle?" Lucius said, as he laughed out loud at the absurdity of it. "We never had anything. You were nothing more to me than an acquaintance. Someone my parents wanted me to be with but I never gave a second thought to. I scarcely even recognized you when you walked in."
Lucius could tell his words hurt her, as her fake smile disappeared off of her face at his blunt words.
"Common Lucius, your mother only has good intentions. She wants the best for you. She wants the purest for you."
Lucius scoffed once more at the pathetic witch. "The only intentions she has is for herself….and what do you want? I can only assume you want nothing more than the vast wealth and inheritance of the Malfoy family name?"
Ophelia made no intention of denying what Lucius had said. "It's a win-win situation. You get a pureblood heir…I get…well…what you just said. It's what pureblood families do. When your mother told me you were still unmarried, I knew you were an offer I couldn't refuse."
Lucius glared at her, his grey eyes flashing dangerously; like a snake warning its prey to run. "I'm not an item for sale you can just purchase…"
Ophelia ignored Lucius. "And from what your mother told me, it seems like you have quite the distraction on your hands now with that common witch…" she said nastily as she referenced you.
"Don't you dare ever speak about her," Lucius warned as he stepped out from behind the desk, and grabbed his wand from his pocket, as he slightly pointed it at Ophelia in warning.
Ophelia looked down at Lucius' hand on his wand, but didn't seem phased.
"Now you best leave before speaking another word. I'm expecting company any moment…from the love of my life," he said proudly; letting the witch know that it was truly time for her to get the hell out of his Manor.
Ophelia glared at Lucius, not too pleased she wasn't getting her way, but suddenly she smirked and backed away. "Fine…I guess I'll leave then…leave you to your little play thing. Oh your mother will be so disappointed."
"Not as disappointed as I am," Lucius said as he lowered his wand and went to go sit behind the desk again. "Now leave…before I have to throw you out myself. And be sure about this fact…you will never find a way in again."
Ophelia began to walk out of the room, but right before Lucius could finally relax, it all happened in a split second, the small witch had turned around suddenly, her wand drawn, pointed at Lucius before she uttered the spell "Petrificus Artus!"
Lucius' eyes opened wide. Not only had he been cursed in his own home, but he suddenly realized that all of his limbs were paralyzed. He could still speak, but couldn't move his arms or legs.
"What the fuck!" Lucius yelled out as Ophelia giggled at her slyness.
She immediately walked over to where Lucius was trapped in the chair and straddled him. Lucius felt sick. How could this be happening? How could he have been so careless. He should have hexed her before she had a chance to paralyze him.
Ophelia started rubbing up against him. "It's not that I only want your money Malfoy…" she said as her narrow eyes looked at his chiseled face, admiring it, and then looked down at his strong body in which she was grinding on. "I also wouldn't mind having a piece of this," she said as she aggressively grabbed his crotch in her hand in a most violating way.
Lucius seriously felt as if he was going to be sick. He felt completely violated. He felt appalled. Never had he wanted another woman to touch him; he only wanted you. It had only ever been you, and he felt as if he could combust with pure rage.
"Get the fuck off of me!" He screamed into Ophelia's face, his silver eyes almost red with anger.
Ophelia simply giggled as she continued to rub up against Lucius' paralyzed body. "Oh don't act like you don't like this," she said as she took Lucius hands and placed them on her hips. Lucius couldn't remove them, since they were still paralyzed with the spell.
"I detest it!" He he yelled.
Ophelia just continued giggling and writhing upon him. Lucius felt suffocated, and he knew he had to do something. He couldn't be taken advantage of like this. Not in his own home. He would rather be victim of the Crucio curse than have this woman on him a moment longer. Closing his eyes, Lucius could almost sense the bindings of the spell that kept him paralyzed. He knew he was a strong wizard, and he had been practicing his wandless magic ever since graduating Hogwarts years ago, and so with his eyes closed he simply focused on trying to undo the spell. He could feel the tips of his fingers begin to move and he knew he would be able to break out of her spell; it would just take a few more moments of concentration.
However his concentration was shattered when he heard your familiar voice call out to him in shock.
"Lucius?" He heard you say.
Lucius' eyes snapped open and he tried to strain his neck around so that he could see you, to explain to you what was happening!
Before he even had a chance though you had run away, and Lucius was now completely induced with pure rage and despair. His eyes watered with tears of rage and all Ophelia could do was still toy with him and laugh at the whole situation. With all of his rage building up to a boiling point, it only took Lucius a minute more to be able to break out of the paralyzing spell from pure willpower alone.
"GET OFF!" He yelled as his body became his again and he stood up to his full height, flinging Ophelia off of him, causing her to fall to the floor hard.
Lucius' hair was wild and his eyes were sparking as he withdrew his wand and pointed it at the now cowering witch on the floor. It wasn't all fun and games now, not after Lucius had broken her spell.
"I should kill you right here…right now…" Lucius said through ragged breath.
"No! No! Please!" Ophelia said nervously as she threw up her hands from where she was still cowering on the floor.
"Pathetic," Lucius said as he glared at the witch on the floor; the witch who had just seemingly ruined his life. "Incarcerous," Lucius said as he pointed his wand now at Ophelia which caused her to be bound up.
Grabbing her by the arm he practically dragged her down to the Drawing Room and threw her in the fireplace, grabbed some Floo Powder and threw it into the fireplace after her. In a flash of green she was off; to where, Lucius had no idea. He hadn't said a location, so she could have ended up anywhere. After sealing off that Floo System to make sure no one could Floo back in through that fireplace, Lucius' adrenaline began to die down, and he only then realized that he had been crying silent tears.
What the fuck had just happened? Had his life and his love seriously just been destroyed all within the hour?
He could practically feel what you were feeling; all of the betrayal and the despair that you were feeling he could also feel. And he could only imagine what you must have been thinking at what you had seen. The only thing he knew was that he had to see you. Had to explain what had just happened. He felt just as violated and betrayed and he had to let you know he hadn't been a willing party. The only thing on his mind now, was you. Making sure that you knew he still loved you.
Wasting no more time, Lucius apparated straight back to London, right in front of your flat. He ran up the steps trying to reach your front door, but he realized as he came up to the last step up, he couldn't cross it. You had seemingly put up an invisible barrier so that no one could get through, most likely blocking out Lucius' himself.
Lucius started yelling your name, trying to make you hear him from where he had been blocked from entering. But he realized with how strong the invisible barrier must have been, you must have put quite a strong silencing charm around your flat as well.
For what seemed like hours Lucius tried to use his prowess in wandless magic to break through you barriers that you had placed around your flat, but to no avail. This magic was strong, probably created with your intense feelings of pain you had been put through; strong magic was always created with strong feelings.
He had to talk to you, had to assure you that he loved you and he had been equally as much a victim to the horrible conniving plan that his mother and Ophelia had come up with.
The whole while Lucius was still crying his silent tears as his heart began breaking into a million pieces, just like yours. He was mentally exhausted by the time he finally began to realize that he wouldn't be seeing or speaking to you and so as the night darkened the sky above, he sat on the stairs of your porch, slumped over, not knowing what to do. All he could do was prey that you would come out; realize he was right downstairs. But you never came.
Eventually, in a haze of despair, Lucius got up, and with one last look at your home, walked the mile walk back to his London Mansion. He was in shock. He felt emptiness, confusion and that sick feeling still lingered in his soul. He still couldn't quite grasp what had happened that day. One moment everything was perfect and the next it was all destroyed. Losing you hurt the most, but it also hurt beyond belief that his mother had been the cause of it all; his only family he had left. Lucius would never consider that woman his family ever again.
And never again would he love. If he had to live out the rest of his miserable life alone, so be it. And so Lucius retreated into his London Mansion. Locked all the doors and turned off all the lights. If he had to wait 1,000 years for you he would.
