The group burst in through the window, and were greeted by a horde of zombies, which those who shoot easily killed, and they pressed forward. The stopped, turned right to an entrance of a lab, and were greeted by two brutish zombies with some spike ball and chains, but they easily killed them. Thomas looked at the door on their right, but Thomas groaned, and said, "It's locked," causing the group to go left to head for the other door.
Suddenly two cyborg-like zombies blocked their path, causing Taylor to ask, "Oh, come on, zombie Terminators?" The group took out the zombie cyborgs, but Taylor soon thought and said, "Wait, zombie cyborgs," thought again, and said, "Zomborgs!" The group were confused, but then gone with it since zomborgs is a better name for those creatures.
They soon entered the room, and took out three more zombies, then Thomas noticed something on a control panel, and said while picking up the item, "This must be the Security Card."
They soon went back to unlock the door but were greeted by two more zombies. They went back to the other door, causing a voice, which was the computer system to say, "UNLOCKED."
The group enter the new area but then a door opened, and horde of zombies charged at them along with large zombies that one has a barrel, but the group took them out. They kept moving taking out more zombies that came around the corner. They soon see a female scientist that was trapped but the group opened the door, saving the scientist, who thanks them as she flees while the group took out the three zombies that would've killed the scientist.
The group turned around and took out a horde of zombies along with two zomborgs and continue on through the lab. Going down some stairs, and to a big door that opens, they were then greeted by another zombie horde that the group eventually took them out went to through the room to head for another door but were blocked by two more zomborgs which the group killed to keep forward. They went to another room but soon some mutant spiders began crawling towards them but were taken out despite two tried a drop attack. The group reached another room, taking out more zombies, then went to an elevator that Thomas activates and took out two zombies before the group goes in, causing Taylor to say, "This will be a tight squeeze."
As the group entered the elevator, while the computer said, "DOWN."
As the elevator goes down, some zombies tried to attack them, but the group took them out until they reached the bottom floor. They took out another horde of zombies, but then heard a female calling for help as a platform was lowered down and they see a female scientist lying down and cowering to a brutish zombie, which Carmelita took it out. The scientist thanks them for saving her and gave them a health pack and left.
The group notice on their right was some big zombies that were about throw barrels at them, but Qwark took out both the barrels and zombies, and the group pressed on while taking out more zombies on the way. As they continue on, a mutant spider was in front of them, but G shoots it. The group looks up, and notice two more mutant spiders, only for Thomas to take them out. Qwark then shoots another big zombie and the barrel that it was about to throw at. The group soon notice some more zombies coming down by chains, but Carmelita took them out while the others took out another horde. They continued forward while G took out two more brutish zombies as they rode down some chains towards the group.
The group noticed another elevator, entered it, and the computer said, "UP."
The group moves forward to a barred divided room, and the group took out more zombies on the way to the end of the room. They reached the end and saw a male scientist that was about to be killed by a brutish zombie, but Qwark shoots and defeats it. The scientist gave them a card key, and said, "Use this," then leaves.
The group moved forward to a door, causing the computer to say, "UNLOCKED."
The group continued inside a lab, taking out two more zomborgs that blocked their path, the group continued on through the lab, taking out wave after wave of zombies, until they reached a door called AREA 3, which was a dome like structure. Going through Area 3, taking out zombies along the way.
Eventually they reached a door that read AREA 07, and in that room was Dr. Curien himself.
"CURIEN!" Thomas said.
Curien turned around and sees the group, and said, "I must compliment all of you. I didn't think you could make it this far, especially you and your group, Fearbrave. But this is it!" The group looked tense and thought Curien was about to fight them, as he said, "Let's see how good you all really are!" How taps the bottom of his cane and the platform he was standing on went down like an elevator, as a giant spider mutant appeared from above right where Curien was standing.
Bentley looked at the book again, and noticed the creature that matched the monster in front of them for it said, 'Hermit type 6803' Bentley notices the WEAK POINT circled, then said, "Shoot at the head of the Hermit, that's it's weak spot!" Qwark, Carmelita, G, and Thomas nodded, and got ready to fight.
The Hermit jumps into the hole where Curien's platform was, and the group looked down to see the Hermit waiting for them. The group began shooting at the Hermit, causing it to soon fall down to the bottom, then crawled backwards. The group jumped down, while Bentley helped the group with his jetpack to land safely, while Taylor used her Staff Helicopter to land safely as well. The group looked ahead, and sees the Hermit blasting webs at them, but the shoot them before they shoot the webs before they hit them. The Hermit then moves forward while protecting its head, but the group shoots it once the head was vulnerable giving it damage, and the Hermit crawls back. The process was repeated one more time, as the group attacked the Hermit while it was retreating and was defeated.
Taylor soon said, "Well, that was longer way to exterminate a giant bug."
The group looked at her, but then dropped it, then went off after Curien, while Thomas said, "We'll get you, Curien!"
We are now drawing close to the end of this fanfic, despite being short, was a great one.
