It all started the day she met him. He had a spaceship and could travel in time and space. Who could say no? Well she guessed she could. She did, but the second he came back she couldn't. She grabbed his hand and ran all over space and time having one adventure after another. She met aliens, she saw the world end, she danced through the blitz. She was Rose Tyler and she was the defender of the cosmos. She fought right alongside the Oncoming storm and she loved it.
She is Rose Tyler, The Bad Wolf, and was in love with the Doctor.
It started when he grabbed her hand and told her to run. He had just lost everything and was about to end himself. One last earth saving while he ended it. She had given him a reason to keep running. He was the Oncoming Storm. He has lived hundreds of years and seen the birth of planets and the end of some as well. He had the blood of his people, all of his people, on his hands. He was in control of the last TARDIS. He saw the wrong in the universe and tried to fix it.
He was the Doctor, the Oncoming Storm and he was in love with Rose Tyler.
~WHO~
It had been a few months since he had met Donna again. She was just what he needed to keep him from falling back into someone who couldn't stop. He hadn't stopped when he was draining the Thames. Well, almost, Donna had pulled him back in time. He knew Rose was coming back. She had to. She had left a message for him. She had looked into the time vortex and seen all of time. The TARDIS had reminded him that it was all part of the timelines. He still couldn't remember meeting her anytime before his ninth self. Much less back when he was with his Susan. But her timeline was a tangled with his as ever. He would keep marching on with her always with him. He could make it until she got back. Didn't mean he didn't stop looking for a whole so he could get through to her. This body had been made out of love and fear of losing her. He had become what he hoped she would want.
Donna had been watching him stare at the same screen for all of one minute before she grew bored of his sulking. She coughed into her hand and when that did nothing she walked up and smacked the back of his head.
"OI! What was that for?!"
Donna simply gave him a glare before tapping her foot.
"I'm bored spaceman. Take us somewhere."
With a sight the Doctor went back to the mundane ins and outs of saving and toppling governments with the help of his companion.
~WHO~
Rose was at the end of her rope. She had been running through time and space. Currently she was on a planet with no occupants that she could find. Most of it was dense jungle with trees that swayed left and right with the breeze. It really was quite lovely. But she had had enough, she had been here for the last 4 days and was growing tired of waiting on her team to pull her back. She had sent the go ahead a few hours after being here. She could see no TARDIS and no Doctor. She continued wondering and looked up at the sky its dark clouds rolling over the sunset with the promise of heavy rain. With a sigh she started to set up a makeshift tent to keep the rain off. The rain started soon after she was done and all she could do was look up in frustration and scream at the moonless sky. She let a few of the tears that she always held back and wrapped her arms around her, trying to keep herself together.
She stayed up most of the night telling herself that she was alright and that she was going to find him again. She was going to get back to him and she was going to keep her promise of forever. She was the Bad Wolf and she was made for him. It had been set in stone from the birth of the time vortex. She was the abomination. She was not going to give up. Rose Tyler was just at her patient's end. She heard the lovely beep of her dimension cannon signaling that her time was ready for the trip. With a laugh of relief she quickly pressed down, missing the sound of grinding gears slowly starting to come through. She also missed when the TARDIS landed right were her makeshift tent was. She missed the Doctor and Donna stepping out.
The Doctor didn't miss seeing her blond hair and pink jumper disappear in a flash of golden light. He also didn't miss when he stormed back into the TARDIS and saw the words BAD WOLF all over his beautiful ship. He fell to his knees with a choked sob at the back of his throat. He was so close. So, so close.
