Part 8 + 9 + 10

Recap from Part 7:

A voice whispered to her: And there you have your answer.

Your love has always been sacrificial.

It was the voice of the one who was showing her these dreams. Oddly enough it sounded like the voice of the Wolf-Hunter God.

Part 8:

The Wolf-Hunter God, still in the form of Enzo, reveals himself and whisks Faith to a prison world of his own making. Enzo reveals the truth about what has happened after Faith. Adam, the emissary of Nature, had compelled the Originals to forget about Faith when she disappeared. Enzo also reveals how he had always been watching her ever since she came into the TVD world and had fallen in love with her. He had watched her love the Originals. He had watch her show goodness and compassion to those who didn't deserve it. He had watched as she loved and sacrificed for those around her.

Enzo didn't want her to make that choice again. He didn't want her to sacrifice herself or be hurt by anyone ever again. He wanted to protect her and to have her all to himself. That's why he had whisked her away to the prison world they were in. They could live out their lives with just the two of them. No one else to take her attention away. He would have her all to himself.

He would go through anything for her. He would set the world ablaze for her.

In the end though, Faith manages to persuade the Wolf-Hunter God to send them back. As much as she appreciated his feelings for her, she needed to go back. She wasn't the kind of person who would just abandon everything so that she could be happy. She loved that the Wolf-Hunter God was willing to go through such lengths for her, to give her choice, to do everything to make her happy. She loved him for it, just not the way she loved Elijah.

Part 9:

*Note: Sequence of events may differ from The Originals as I have not finished watching the series and do not know what happens apart from YouTube fanvids.

Upon their return, Faith sets her plan to action. Faith recruits Kol to help her find a witch. She gets the witch to cast a spell linking her and Haley like the spell that linked Elena and John Gilbert. If Haley dies, Faith's life will be used to resurrect her. As much as Faith feels upset seeing Elijah's love for Haley and not her, Faith still wanted to protect his happiness. Faith tells Kol: "You mustn't tell him, promise me you won't tell him."

Eventually, the Originals (minus Kol + Freya) are 'dead' and placed in coffins. Just before Faith closes Elijah's coffin, she put her fingers to her mouth and kissed it tenderly then placed the same fingers on his lips. His lips were unexpectedly cold to the touch which caused her heart to ache even more. Then she closes the coffin and drives the truck holding their bodies away. She was determined to protect the family and hide them away where they will not be harmed.

Part 10:

Time passes and Faith visits Mystic Falls. She knew the time was drawing near when the Original family would awaken. It would also mark the time when she would die in place of Haley. Feeling defeated, she wandered back to Mystic Falls to see her old friends.

In a surprising turn of events, Bonnie and Damon are together. Bonnie is pregnant with a big tummy showing. Damon is human because he took the cure. Stefan and Elena are dead but are also at peace together on the other side, with Elena's death ending the Petrova doppelgänger line. Jeremy and Anna are together, have graduated high school and are making plans about college. Caroline and the resurrected Kol are traveling the world together.

Only Bonnie and Damon remember her because they had been to her world and back. Bonnie hears about what has happened to Faith and reassures Faith that she did make a difference, that she did save their lives for the better.
