POV - General
"So that's how I got from killing Tyrian to now," Whitley said.
[Yes I'm doing one of those]
"Well that's... a lot," Schwarz said.
"I know and I'm sorry that I couldn't get a message to you," Whitley said.
"I don't understand, why didn't you come and tell us you were alive," Madam Belyy said.
"If I did that I would be putting every member of both the Creed and the Brotherhood in danger of being killed by the spies," Whitley said.
"I see," Madam Belyy said accepting Whitley's answer.
"Now do you two think it's possible to merge the Brotherhood and the Creed," Whitley said.
"I'm sorry what," Schwarz said.
"I'm with him on this one Whitley, you remember how you were treated when you first entered the mountain," Madam Belyy said.
"Let me rephrase that, the two clans shouldn't and probably can't mesh into one clan, instead what if we make them two parts of a whole," Whitley said.
"Ok, elaborate," Schwarz said.
"Have a location where no weapons are allowed no matter the situation, have it be tucked away from the eyes of the rest of the clans, not out of knowledge, just out of sight. Have this place be a area where the leaders of each clan can speak to one another to settle a conflict, or to share information on spies," Whitley said.
"Ok, this sounds doable," Madam Belyy said.
"Do you have a place in mind," Schwarz asked.
"Yes, their is a cave at the far end of the old river valley, it's where Qara, Branco and I stayed during our supposed deaths," Whitley said.
"Alright, we'll gather up our most trusted builders and get right to beuilding this room," Schwarz said.
"Alrighty is their anything else," Whitley asked.
"Which clan will you be staying with in the mean time," Madam Belyy asked.
"If I'm not mistaken most of the spy scanning is being done at the Brotherhood temple, so I'll be staying their," Whitley said.
"Ok then, Belyy I think we're both forgetting something," Schwarz said.
"And what's that," Madam Belyy asked.
"His uniform and mask," Schwarz said like it was the most obvious thing in the world.
"You're right Schwarz but what color will his outfit be," Madam Belyy asked.
"Might I make a suggestion," Whitley asked.
"Normally it would be allowed but you're a special case so fine," Schwarz said.
"You both know where I'll be fighting, so white is the better option, but the practicality of the Brotherhood outfit would better suit me in every situation," Whitley said.
"That's a good point," Schwarz said.
"Thank you," Whitley replied.
"So what now," Madam Belyy asked.
"Now I start planning my return to Atlas," Whitley said.
"Already," Madam Belyy asked.
"I've been gone for almost 2 years, I really need to go home," Whitley said.
"How long will you be staying," Schwarz asked.
"I'll be here until the room is finished," Whitley said.
"Alright... I guess that means you and I need to gather our builders then Belyy," Schwarz said.
(21 Week Time Skip brought to you in part by Qara inviting Blanc to dinner)
POV - Schwarz
"Sir there has been a Bullhead crash in the western mountains," Qara said
"Any idea as to who," I asked.
"It appeared to be an Atlas search party," he replied.
"I see, look into it and bring any survivors here," I said.
"I'll see what ours scouts have found sir," he said before walking away.
"Sup Qara," I heard Whitley say as he entered the room.
"Hey Whitley," Qara said.
"Hello Whitley, do need something," I asked.
"Not really just coming by to see if there's anything I can do to help," he asked.
"Well I think Belyy needed someone to check on the progress of the room," I said.
"I can do that," he said.
"I'll tell her you're on it," I said grabbing my scroll.
"I've been meaning to ask, what exactly are you two," he asked.
"Lovers," I replied.
"Ah I see," he said.
"Is that all," I asked.
"Yup," he said before turning and leaving my room.
POV - Whitley
"Hello gentlemen," I said as I arrived at the room.
"Whitley," one of the stonemasons said.
"We almost done here," I asked.
"Yup, the blacksmiths just need to finish up the keys," he said.
"Sweet," I said.
"Is that all," he asked.
"Yup, I'll be on my way then," I said turning around and turning into smoke.
'This will always feel amazing'
The skies of the Atlas mountain range were such a strange and beautiful thing. Flying through them I felt freed of all my burdens. From back in Atlas the view I had of the mountains was picturesque. My semblance flourished in the snow covered mountains giving me the ability to create blizzard unlike any blizzard that nature could create.
Buzz Buzz
Tearing me from my day dream, I felt my scroll buzzing in my pocket. Landing on the nearest flat surface I quickly pulled it out to see that Schwarz was calling me. Answering the call I was greeted by silence.
"Yes Schwarz," I said starting the conversation.
"I need you back at base now," he said.
"On my way," I said before putting my scroll back in my pocket.
Returning to smoke form I began my hasteful journey back. If I had to do this two years ago it would have taken me days, but thanks to Schwarz'a meticulous training I can nearly match him in speed.
'Should have started a timer'
I started seeing the familiar sights that indicated that I was near base. Slowing down I could see Schwarz waiting for me outside the cave.
'This can't be good'
"What's going on," I asked
"Our new guest is a strange one," he replied confusing me.
He turned and entered the cave. Entering behind him the door was closed behind me.
"What do you mean by a strange one," I asked.
"He is looking for you," he said making me go silent.
"About time I guess," I said after a moment.
Schwarz let out a small chuckle at my comment.
"Indeed, I was starting to wonder if your Father cared for you at all," Schwarz said.
"Because he doesn't, all he sees in my sisters and I are something to pass the SDC onto," I said coldly.
"Hmm," he said as we finally arrived at the med-bay.
Looking on the table I saw non-other than the General of the Atlas military, James Ironwood.
"Is he awake," I ask quietly.
"Yes but he refuses to speak to us beyond that he is here looking for you," he said.
"Alright, let me speak to him alone then," I said pulling down my mask as I entered the room.
I heard Schwarz close the door and walk away.
"Hello General," I said making my presence known.
"Whitley," he said quickly sitting up in his seat.
"Yup it's me," I said walking up to him.
"What have they done to you, did they force you into this," he asked.
"No sir, they saved me when my Bullhead crashed and I finally saw a chance to get training.
"So you chose to stay here," he asked.
"Yss but there's more to it thrn that General I've learned that there's so much going on in the world that we don't know about," I said.
"What do you mean by tbat," he asked.
"Their is this woman named Salem that has been controlling the Grimm for centuries," I said.
He went silent for a few minutes.
"Salem the immortal queen on Grimm," he said.
"You know of her," I asked.
"I am in Ozpins inner circle," he said.
"I see," I said.
"Whitley, did you by any chance fight a scorpion faunus," he asked.
"Yes, I killed him," I said.
"I see, Whitley do you know who you saved," he asked.
No I didn't really have the time to look," I said.
"That huntress was Summer Rose, one of the few remaining Silver eyed warriors," he said.
"Why did Salem send her best assassin to kill her," I asked.
"Because her eyes can turn Grimm to stone," he said.
"I see," I said.
Listen Whitley you need to come home," he said.
"I know, there's just one more thing I have to do," I said.
"What is that," he asked.
"I need to get my outfit and mask," I said.
"When will this happen," he asked.
"Later," I said.
"I'll be here then," he said laying back down.
"Alright, we can leave later once you're all healed up," I said before leaving.
"So what did he want," Schwarz asked.
"He wants to bring me home," I said.
"And," he asked.
"I want to go home," I said.
"Your outfit and mask are ready go prepare yourself for the ceremony," he said before walking away.
'Time for a shower I guess'
(Time Skip to later that day)
"Mister Schnee," I heard a voice say from out side of my room.
"Yes," I said opening the door.
"I have your clothes," she said.
"Oh thank you," I said taking them and closing the door.
The clothes consisted of a tight fitting shirt and my Dark Brotherhood pants. Putting them on and checking the time I realised I needed to get moving. Opening the door I began my journey down to the main cave opening. Turning right I entered the Dark Brotherhood temple. I could hear all of the people inside of the ceremony room and it kind of scared me.
"You ready kid," Qara said from behind me, startling me a bit.
"Yes I'm ready, just nervous," I said.
"Trust me the jump gave that away," he said.
Looking past him I could see Branco giving me a thumbs up.
"Thanks Branco," I said.
The two of them entered the room leaving me alone in the hall.
'Silence, peaceful silence'
"I'm not interrupting anything am I."
'I stand corrected'
"No you aren't General," I said.
"Good, just wanted to tell you that they say I'm good to leave whenever," he said.
"Good to know, I have a question," I said.
"What's your question," he asked.
"How do I keep myself from messing this up," I asked.
"Just focus on only the people infront of you, not the people around you," he said.
"Thanks," I said.
Looking down at my watch one last I saw that it was time for me to enter. Pushing the doors open, the room immediately became deathly silent. Scanning the room I saw thousands of Creed and Brotherhood members on separate sides of the massive ceremony room. Looking ahead I saw Schwarz and Madam Belyy standing next to one another at the front of the room. They were flanked by Blanc, Branco, and Qara on their respective sides of the room. Walking forward, the only sound I could hear was the sound of my own footsteps. I finally reached them and kneeled down before Schwarz and Madam Belyy.
"Stand Whitley," Madam Belyy instructed me.
Doing as she told me I had my arms forced into the air.
"This shirt resembles your semblance, your ability to control the cold has given you the ability to disappear in the blizzards you create and make the floor ice making it hard for your enemiesto move" she said.
I had a white long sleeve shirt put on me.
"This vest resembles your versatility, you have shown your ability to plan, hunt, and kill on multiple occasions, but in the process have taken far more damage then most would in their first year," she said getting a few muffled laughs from the crowd.
They pulled the vest over my head before clipping the sides together.
"This trench coat represents your commitment to the Creed," she said.
My arms were forced back as the trench coat was placed on my back.
"This last piece is a piece you are all to familiar with, our necklaces represent who we are as people. What our necklaces depict is up to the person who trained us to decide," she said before Blanc walked up to me.
"When I first saw you in those woods I was expecting a fight, but instead I got a brief talk. You had survived a fight that many huntsmen have failed and lived to tell the tail. I was given the pleasure of training you and seeing you slowly peal back the lies that the generations of spies had made. I chose a wolf head to represent your willingness to fight odds that no one man should take on by themselves," she said as she placed the necklace over my hesd. She zipped up my jacket and folded the velcro hiding the zipper.
"From this day forward you are a Brother of the Creed," she said.
The crowd of Creed member cheered.
"Whitley please kneel," Schwarz said.
I did as I was asked and kneeled toward Schwarz.
"This mask will be what ties you to the Brotherhood. You're mask is unique to you and resembles your work for the Brotherhood up to this point. Through much throught I have decided that you beat resemble death. Now do you accept your position as a brother in the Dark Brotherhood," Schwarz said.
"Yes," I said.
"Look up Whitley," he told me.
Looking up I saw the back of the mask. It slowly moved toward my face until it hooked onto the clips infront of my ears. Slowly he pulled my hood over my head.
"Stand now and reveal yourself to the crowd," Schwarz said.
Standing up I took a deep breath and turned looking at the group of thousands of warriors. The crowd soon started to cheer.
"From this day forward you will be known as Death," Schwarz said.
