Percy Jackson

"You stupid fuck!" Annabeth snarled as she cracked the whip again.

Percy winced as the bull whip Annabeth used impacted against his back. It felt like his back was about to get torn open. The loud whipping noise easily drowned out his cries.

Percy knew he was going to suffer when Annabeth came marching into his cell with two guards and a whip. She had his hands and feet chained up before ripping his shirt off. Then she began to whip him over and over again until his back was raw.

He tried to suffer in silence but that was hard to do when Annabeth was constantly whipping him. She hadn't given him much of a break, save for a few moments where she poured ice cold water on his back to heal his wounds before whipping him again.

"You're going to beg me to stop." Annabeth said, whipping him on the back of his head this time.

"No." Percy said defiantly.

Annabeth let out a growl before whipping him again. She continued whipping him, he counted the time between each strike. Five seconds. It took five seconds for Annabeth to hit him again.

He lost count of how long he'd been tortured. His throat was raw and sore from crying out in pain too much. His eyes were dry as tears made trails down his cheeks. He tried to keep his pain bottled up but Annabeth was intent on whipping him until he begged for her to stop.

Annabeth stopped whipping him and walked in front of him, "Do you have any idea how stupid you made me look?"

"I don't care." He spat.

Annabeth hit him with the whip again, this time hitting him on the right shoulder, "You're going to cost me everything!"

"Good, I hope I do!" He yelled at her, "Fuck you, Annabeth!"

Annabeth let out a rage-filled yell before kicking him in the face.

"Every-fucking-time-I-get-something-good-you-fuck-it-up!" Annabeth yelled while whipping him in between words.

When she was done, Percy glared up at her through red and teary eyes, "Get out of my face. Leave me alone and never come back."

Annabeth glared at him, it was as if she couldn't fathom the fact that he had the willpower to stand up to her, especially when she was the one with all the power in this situation. He didn't care how many times she whipped him, he wasn't going to bend.

"You don't get to tell me what to do." She growled, dropping the whip and grabbing him so her face was inches away from his.

The two stared at each other, their eyes blazing with fury at the other. Percy wished he could express how much he wanted Annabeth out of his cell. The Annabeth in front of him was not the Annabeth he used to know. She wouldn't have abused him like she was now.

Annabeth was breathing heavily, sweat ran down her red face. She had put a lot of effort into hitting him over and over again, yet he didn't break. He knew that was pissing her off, it seemed the idea of someone being able to withstand this kind of treatment was foreign to her.

Percy wondered if she had tortured other demigods before him, maybe that's where she got her experience from. Every move she made was calculated to try to break his resolve.

Annabeth broke the staring contest and dropped him. She walked away from him and paced back and forth. Percy watched her with curious eyes, he wondered what she was going to do now that whipping wasn't working.

"Don't make me do something like this again, Percy." She said without looking at him.

"I don't make anyone do anything." He said.

He knew Annabeth, she was strong and had the drive to be independent. Considering the position they were in, he really couldn't force her to do anything. Annabeth could easily leave his cell and not come back, he'd never be able to taunt her ever again.

Annabeth walked back over to him and went behind him before laying her hands on his shoulders. She leaned down and whispered in his ear, "If you try running away from me again, I'll make sure you suffer."

"Next time, I won't get caught." He replied.

Annabeth let out a annoyed sigh at his defiance, "You're such a pain in the ass. I tried being nice to you and you still decided to run."

"Because I don't want to fucking be here!" Percy snapped, "I should be back at camp, helping them win this war!"

"Yeah and look where that got you." She said, "Now you're stuck in this cell."

"Then what the fuck did you want me to do, huh?!" Percy yelled, "If I left camp and stayed with my mom, you would've just called me a coward. Now you're telling me I should've never stayed at camp. Nothing ever pleases you!"

Annabeth slapped him, "Don't raise your voice with me."

"You only do that because you don't want to hear what I'm saying." He said as the stinging started to subside.

"No, because what your voice is just annoying, that's why." She said simply, "And for the record, you have no idea what I'd say to you, you don't know me like that."

"But I do know you." He countered, "I know that you hate doing this. You probably argued with yourself on the way to my cell. You know full well that what you're doing is wrong."

"Shut up." Annabeth said, "The only thing I did wrong was not gagging you before I started."

"Go ahead and gag me, it won't make the guilty voices in your head go away." He said.

"Then what will?" She asked, turning on him, "Since you think you know me so well, what'll make them go away? Come on, give me an answer, wise guy."

Percy didn't back down, "Leave this place. Go back to camp. No one there will judge you, tell them I sent you and I promise they won't."

Annabeth stared at him, "If you're just trying to escape—"

"Leave me here." He said, "Just get the hell out."

Annabeth's harsh eyes softened when she realized what he was saying. He was telling her to leave him and take care of herself. He was basically telling her to give up on him, which would break their promise. He didn't care, that promise wasn't doing him any good now anyways.

"I won't leave you." She said.

"We'll see about that."

Annabeth Chase

Annabeth left Percy's cell, tense and angry. She was angry at Percy for not only trying to escape but also for suggesting she leave without him. She was angry at herself for not controlling her anger, she let her emotions slip.

As Annabeth shut Percy's cell and locked it, she let out a sigh. Her ears felt hot and her heart pounded against her chest, she needed time to collect herself before she went on to do anything else.

Yet when she turned to leave, all that anger in her body drained out of her and instead was replaced by fear. She'd felt fear before, like when she saw a spider in her dad's house or even before they departed into the Labyrinth. Yet this fear was cold and heavy, like seeing a shark fin in the middle of a dark ocean.

Kronos was standing against the wall, a unimpressed look on his face. His cruel golden eyes eyed her with a stone-cold judgement.

"To say I am disappointed would be a understatement." He said.

"My lord." Annabeth knelt down in front of the Titan Lord.

"Get up!" He growled.

Annabeth quickly got to her feet and stood straight as an arrow. She may have not liked Kronos, but she surely respected his power. He was the one who let her out of her cell and let her serve him, yet he could also kill her where she stood and she'd be utterly powerless to do anything about it.

"I recall telling you to convert Perseus to our side, am I wrong?" He asked.

"No." Annabeth answered meekly.

"Huh, then why is it I hear you beating him with a whip?" Kronos asked as he glanced at the whip in Annabeth's right hand, "Did you think you could beat him into converting?"

"No, my lord." Annabeth said. Her legs shook as her breathing started to get faster and more panicked in nature.

"THEN WHAT THE FUCK WERE YOU DOING?!" Kronos roared.

Annabeth quickly covered her face and recoiled. She had never seen Kronos so mad before, usually his rage was quiet and collected, not explosive and heated.

"You're about to cost us this whole damn war!" Kronos spat at her, "For such a wise girl, what you did was fucking stupid!"

"W-what do y-you w-want me to do?" She asked.

Kronos took a deep breath. He reached behind himself and pulled out a canteen, "This is ice cold water, I got it when I heard the beating. Go in there and heal Percy of his injuries. If I hear you beating him, I will kill you."

Annabeth took the canteen with shaky hands before making her way back to Percy's cell. She felt Kronos's gaze on her back as she walked.

When she opened Percy's cell, she found him in a corner, Riptide drawn and a angry look in his eyes. The cell smelled of blood, Annabeth hated the smell. She slowly walked towards Percy.

"I'm not here to hurt you again." She said, "I have some water to heal your back."

"My back's already healed, get the hell out!" Percy snapped.

"No, it's not." Annabeth said, "I promise I'm not here to hurt you, just let me help you."

Percy looked at her apprehensively, "Fine, but if you hurt me, I will hurt you."

Annabeth nodded and stepped towards him. She watched as he pulled his shirt off and turned around. She winced as she saw the long marks on his skin thanks to the whipping from earlier. It looked like someone had raked his back with a sharp tree branch, a couple of the marks were oozing out blood.

She twisted open the canteen and gently poured some water on the scars. Instantly, the water started to heal every wound. She could see Percy's shoulders relaxing as he let out a sigh of pleasure. She always wondered how he felt when his wounds healed in water.

Annabeth knew she shouldn't have touched him, but she did anyways. She found herself unable to resist the urge to run her hands along his muscular shoulders and back, she almost found herself in awe that she was able to capture a hero of this caliber.

Percy didn't react negatively to her touch, he seemed to not even notice the fact that she was touching him. The water trickled down his back and onto the floor. Each wound he had was now gone, you wouldn't even know that he'd been whipped.

"Thanks." He said as he turned around.

Annabeth quickly brought her hands back, "No problem."

As she turned to leave, she heard him ask, "Why?"

She turned, "Why what?"

"Why did you just heal me? You didn't have to." He said.

"Because someone told me to." She said, walking away before he could ask her who. If he found out Kronos forced her to heal him, it could lead to him trying to escape yet again.

When Annabeth locked his cell, she turned to find herself face to face with Kronos again. He was staring at her with a expressionless face.

"We need to talk." He said.

"Okay." She said.

The Titan Lord walked in a circle around her, "I've been evaluating your progress recently. You are no closer to converting Percy than when you started."

"I know, my lord."

"Do I need to find someone else to do this? I'm sure some daughters of Aphrodite would be willing to convert him using their own methods." He suggested.

Annabeth didn't want any of those love freaks getting near Percy. She knew their methods usually involved potions and spells. Plus, she didn't want to see any other girl kissing Percy or worse. Just because she was on the opposite side of the war didn't mean she didn't still have a crush on the son of Poseidon, if anything, that crush was what was causing her the most issues. It was getting in the way of her duties.

"I can convert him. I just need some advice, I tried being nice to him but it didn't work." She said.

Kronos huffed, "You have a body, use it."

With that, he left her. Annabeth was stunned, did he just suggest using sex to win Percy over?

A/N: I've decided to rewrite this story. Ch8 and ch9 have been removed and i added on to ch7. I'm going back to my original plot, which does involve smut but the escape chapters will be delayed.
