Drabble Number 3: Kagome's the daughter of the leader of Japan's top drug-smuggling community. When her father requests her to kill Tintin, the young assassin tries a new approach. Get close, then kill. However, what's this strange feeling in the pit of her stomach?

Pairing: KagomeXTintin

Kagome stood by her father, watching each and every man as they discussed a bad matter.

"Men, we have a predicament on our hands." Mr Higurashi tented his fingers, leaning forward with a serious expression on his face. "I'm sure you're all familiar with the famous Belgian reporter, Tintin. Right now, he's on a plane to Tokyo." The men buzzed with chatter.

"D'you want some of us to ambush him?" One asked. Mr Higurashi shook his head.

"No, I have a better idea. Kagome?" Kagome straightened up, looking at her father.

"Yes, otousan?" Kagome said, her eyes hardening. Mr Higurashi turned to his daughter and picked up a lock of her hair.

"With your charm and skill, I want you to lure Tintin into a false sense of security. Then, kill him slowly and painfully and make sure he knows his mistake of coming here." Mr Higurashi smiled sadistically. A chill ran down Kagome's spine but, with her skill in acting, didn't let it show and copied his smile.

"Of course, otousan." She nodded. "When will he arrive?"

"Tomorrow morning. Make a plan with Itachi and Ryouta. They'll help you try and get close to him." Mr Higurashi waved his hand at Kagome, Itachi and Ryouta, dismissing them. "Get out of my sight before I hurt you."

"Y-yes, otousan. Thank you, otousan." Kagome lowered her head down.

"Thank you, Higurashi-san." Itachi and Ryouta bowed before the three hurried out of the room. Once the door was shut, Kagome dropped her hardened expression and allowed tears to appear in her eyes. Itachi rested a hand on her quivering shoulder.

"Why? Why?" Kagome sobbed softly. "He used to be so kind... then this gang happened!" She hissed.

"There there, Kagome." Itachi muttered, both men feeling sorry for the young 20 year-old female. Ryouta ran a hand through his short brown hair greying with stress and old age. Kagome furiously wiped away her tears.

"Let's just plan this guy's demise." She ordered, walking forward towards a table with three chairs. Her gaze became deadly as she brought forth ideas.

The next day

Tintin made his way off the plane, Snowy at his heels. He stretched wide, a smile on his face. The plane ride was long but it was worth to come to Japan.

"C'mon, Snowy." Tintin whistled as he went to collect his suitcase. Snowy barked, following his master closely. Once with his items, Tintin made his way out of the airport, looking down at the map in one of his hands. "Now, where is the hotel?" He murmured, walking forward.

"Ugh! Oww!" He heard someone exclaim.

"You punk!" Someone hissed. Tintin raised his head, dropping his map and suitcase. His head turned in the direction of an alleyway and he ran in, Snowy following. That was when he saw two men cornering someone.

"Give us your bag, bitch." One demanded in English, sending a kick to the crouched person.

"Itai!" The person screamed, revealing it was a female. She cried frantically in Japanese, pleading for help.

"Hey! Leave her alone, you thugs!" Tintin yelled, making the two men look at him.

"Annoying brat!" One man stepped forward, reaching towards Tintin who grabbed his arm and twisted it painfully behind his back before kicking him to the floor. The man hit his head hard before groaning and falling unconscious. The last guy lunged forward only to be punched in the face. The punch broke his nose, blood falling down his face. He whimpered and ran off. Tintin dusted his hands off. "And that takes care of that." He smiled before turning and holding his hand out to the young woman. "Are you all right?" Tintin asked. The young woman looked up, her brown eyes meeting with Tintin's blue ones. She looked a couple of years younger than himself.

"Th-thank you." She muttered, grabbing his hand. Tintin helped her up. "Is there any way I could repay you?"

"Oh, there's no need. I'm just glad I was able to help you." Tintin smiled. The young woman giggled softly.

"No, no, I insist. I'm Kagome." The woman said, bowing politely.

"A pleasure, Kagome. I'm Tintin." Tintin replied. "Actually, I would appreciate it if you told me where the Fuji Hotel is?"

"Of course, Mr Tintin!" Kagome nodded. Tintin and Kagome made their way out of the alley and he picked up his suitcase, storing away his map in his coat.

"Lead the way!" Tintin said. The two walked down the pavement with Snowy yipping along the way.

"So, you came from Belgian?" Kagome asked, earning a nod.

"Yes, I do. I'm just having a break from all the trouble I get into." Tintin chuckled. Kagome perked up.

"Trouble? Oh, you're THAT Tintin! Belgian reporter! Wow, that's amazing! I've read all your articles!" Kagome looked at him with wide eyes filled with shock and admiration. Tintin scratched the back of his neck.

"Oh, wow. I'm so glad you like my work."

"Like it? I love it!" Kagome replied gleefully, smiling. They went inside the hotel and Tintin was given his key at reception. Kagome handed him a slip of paper. "If you ever need any help or just want someone to hang with, just call me." She insisted, smiling at the man. He nodded.

"Of course." He said.

"Oh, and I would like to take you somewhere tonight, as a thank you for saving me. I'll come here at 7, all right?" Kagome suggested.

"That sounds lovely. I'll see you then." Tintin waved at the woman as she headed out. Tintin made his way up the stairs and headed to his room. He unlocked it and got inside, Snowy trotting in. Snowy curled up on the floor as Tintin set his bag on the bed. "Kagome's a nice young woman, isn't she, Snowy?" Snowy barked in a way that said 'I like her.'

The time rolled by and a knock came at his door. Tintin frowned and walked forward, opening the door. He looked up to see Kagome smiling at him.

"Hello, Mr Tintin! Are you ready?" She asked sweetly, earning a nod and a smile.

"Yes, I am." Tintin replied, turning to Snowy. "Be a good boy. I'll be back." He said and shut his door, locking it behind himself. Kagome smiled secretly to herself.

"Itachi and Ryouta were very convincing. Step one, complete." She thought.

Weeks had passed and the two had come close to each other. Kagome nervously dreaded the fact she would have to murder this amazing man. Her heart ached at the thought of killing him, as she had grown so fond of him that her heart couldn't let him go.

"Hey, Tintin." Kagome said over the phone, smiling softly. "I was just wondering if you wanted to go dancing tonight for fun?"

"That sounds nice. At what time?" Tintin asked. Kagome thought for a second.

"I'll come round at 8 tonight. See you then?" Kagome said hopefully.

"All right. Thank you for the offer." They both hung up. Kagome couldn't contain her excitement. She squealed happily, glad her father wasn't home at the moment. Her heart raced quickly and she stopped, realising what was going on.

"Oh, no. Kagome, you idiot. You've fallen for your target!" Kagome thought, worry building up inside of her. Shaking her head, Kagome looked at the time. Two hours to get ready. She searched through her closet and pulled out her dress and heels before grabbing a bathrobe and towel. She set her clothes down on her bed and walked into the bathroom, shutting it behind her. She stripped her clothes off and ran a warm bath before washing up and getting ready for tonight.

Kagome smoothed out her dress before twirling in the mirror. It was a black dress with a heart-shaped bodice with no straps. Her skirt was long and flowed down to her ankles and spread out when she spun. Her heels were black and her hair was up in a neat bun with a hairpin in it. Kagome sighed.

"I hope I look good enough." She muttered before getting out of her house and heading off towards the hotel, where she met with Tintin. She gasped and smiled softly. "You look rather dashing." Kagome giggled softly at the smart suit he wore.

"And you look very elegant." Tintin replied, smiling charmingly. The two laughed and headed off. They entered the building to see many people already dancing to the music. They joined in, swinging around to the upbeat music the band was playing. Unconsciously, they got closer and closer yet when the music turned soft and slow, they both blushed. Tintin held out his hand.

"Would you like to dance with me?" He asked. Kagome nodded, smiling. Kagome had her arms wrapped around Tintin's neck as he had his around her waist. They swayed to the slow music, peacefully enjoying each other's company as many couples and dance partners moved around them. Kagome smiled softly.

"This is nice." She murmured, staring up at Tintin.

"Yes, it is, isn't it, Miss Higurashi?" Tintin replied, giving her a smile of his own. Kagome felt her heart drop. She felt so bad about going to be his killer. Could she do it? Should she tell him about her father? She took a deep breath.

"Listen, I have something I would like to say. I-" Kagome stopped when she stared into his eyes. Her cheeks flushed pink. "I... I..." She couldn't say it. Her eyes darted down to his lips, as Tintin's eyes looked at hers. They both slowly leaned forward. Kagome's heartbeat echoed loudly in her ears as time seemed to slow to a halt when their lips touched. Sparks set off in her mind and they pushed closer together. Kagome and Tintin pulled away, staring at each other with wide eyes.

"Um..."Tintin cleared his throat softly. "Do you want to come back to my hotel room and have a drink?"

"I would love to." Kagome murmured. Tintin grabbed her hand and led her out of the building. The two headed down the street under the night air. Tintin pulled her up to the room and opened it. Once the door was shut, Kagome launched forward, kissing him again. Tintin stumbled backwards, caught off guard and fell backwards onto his bed. The two kissed passionately, tongues intertwined. They pulled away, gasping for air. "H-have you done this before?" Kagome asked, her eyelids half closed.

"N-no, never." Tintin admitted shyly. "Have you?" Kagome shrugged.

"Once." She blushed softly. "I care about you a lot. Can... I be your first?"

"I care about you too." Tintin kissed her again. Snowy blinked before covering his ears and shutting his eyes. He wasn't going to get to sleep anytime soon, was he?

Kagome moaned softly, rolling onto her side. Her eyes opened as the light from the sun hit her face. She yawned and sat up, stretching before realising she was naked. She quickly lifted the blanket to her chest, blushing furiously. Just what happened last night? Memories flooded into her head and Kagome's face burned brighter.

"Oh, dear God." She murmured, remembering the way Tintin caressed her body, the way he kissed her, the way he touched oh-so right-no, she shouldn't be thinking of this. Oh, but it was so hard not to. Kagome turned to see Tintin still asleep. He sighed and turned, sleeping closer to her. Kagome's heart started beating fast and she knew she was too far in to ever hurt him. Kagome moved a strand of her loose hair behind her ear as Tintin stirred. He opened his eyes only to stare up at Kagome.

"Morning." He yawned, not really remembering the events of last night until he sat up, eyes wide. "Oh, great snakes." He muttered.

"Exactly." Kagome replied, blushing. "Still, I'm glad I was... You know, your first."

"And I'm glad I was better than your first." Tintin chuckled quietly. Kagome laughed at that comment.

"Tintin, I have something important to say and I don't want you to say anything until I'm done." Kagome breathed deeply before spilling the beans. "I was never in danger the day you saved me. I was originally sent to assassinate you. My father is the leader of the drug-smuggling gang you recently discovered and I never get a choice. He always makes me kill someone or else I get a beating. Then, I got you as my target and I fell in love with you. I just can't kill you and I can't tell my father that, he'll beat me to a bloody pulp. It's not fair that I'm lying to you, but I really do love you, Tintin." Kagome felt her eyes sting. Tintin was silent for a few moments before pulling Kagome's naked body to his own in a comforting hug.

"I will never let him hurt you." Tintin growled softly. "I will make sure he goes to jail and never lays a finger on you again."

"What if he gets out?" Kagome shivered in fear. Tintin made Kagome look at him, a serious expression on his face.

"Come with me to Belgian." He said. Kagome felt her eyes widen. "Once he's put into jail, come with me back to Belgian. He'll never be able to hurt you again. My friend has plenty of room at his home. What do you say?" Kagome thought for a second.

"Yes." Kagome nodded. Tintin breathed a sigh of relief before kissing Kagome softly.
