Pairing: KagomexTintin
There's no summary to this as I don't want to give it away. Warning, it's a little sad!
There's nothing left of you to remind me
But somehow you're still standing behind me
Tintin collapsed onto his chair, running his hands over his quiff. He bit his lip, tears leaking from his blue eyes. His remorse and anguish was released by a scream ripping from his throat. Tintin was just thankful the others were not currently in the mansion.
"It's that day..."He thought, running a hand over his face. "God, it's been a year already. I'm pathetic." Tintin reached into his wallet and pulled out a photo, holding it close to his face as he examined the features of the young woman on it.
"Come on, we're going to miss it, Kagome!" Tintin exclaimed, pulling the young woman behind him. She laughed as they broke into a sprint. They hurried along, passing many people until they came to a stop on top of a hill. Tintin pushed Kagome to sit on the ground and they lay there under the night sky for a bit until fireworks set off in the sky.
"Oh wow, it's so pretty!" Kagome said in awe. Tintin smiled at the female gently before placing a gentle kiss on her cheek. He fiddled with a box in his pocket, staring up at the sky. Then, he turned to her before grabbing Kagome's hands, making her stand up. "Tintin? What is it?" She asked, raising her eyebrow.
"I love you very much and we've been together for four years now and the only way I could imagine it being better is if you say yes." Tintin knelt down on one knee and pulled out the box before bearing the ring to Kagome who covered her mouth with a gasp. Tintin smiled hopefully. "Will you marry me?" Kagome, unable to process words, nodded before hugging Tintin and kissing him passionately.
I'm trying hard to forget you
But my empty walls won't let me let you go
Kagome screamed in agony, gripping onto Tintin's hand tightly.
"Don't worry, you're almost there." He said reassuringly. Kagome panted heavily before letting out another screech, tears falling down her face.
"D-damnit, Tintin! You try and go through childbirth!"She yelled at her husband, wailing loudly.
"One more hard push!" One of the nurses encouraged. Kagome pushed once more and along with her scream was the crying of a young infant.
"Well done, Kagome." Tintin kissed Kagome's forehead softly. The woman was tired but smiled nonetheless.
"Congratulations, it's a healthy baby boy." A doctor gave Kagome the baby and she held the small child closely, smiling tiredly at the baby.
"What will we call him?" Kagome asked, looking up at Tintin.
"How about Souta? After your little brother." He nodded, sighing.
"Souta. Our little Souta."
When you took it all, you forgot your shadow
You say you wish me well without you
But something 'bout you tells me that you know, oh oh
"Get back here!" Tintin yelled as him and Kagome sprinted after a man clutching a woman's purse. A woman in the distance screamed in anger at the man who just robbed her. The two ran past many people before seeing the robber dart down an alleyway. Suddenly, they reached a dead end. The man looked at the couple before dropping the bag.
"Okay, okay, you got me!" He explained, holding his hands up. Tintin walked forward and grabbed the bag before backing up.
"The police will be here in a few minutes."Tintin glared at the man. He then looked at Kagome who smiled back. "Good to be doing this again."
"I'm glad to be back in shape to do this again, dear." She replied. Then, she saw a flash of something and looked to see the robber had pulled out a gun and was pointing it at Tintin. "Tintin, look out!" Kagome screamed, moving towards her husband quickly. A bang rung through the air and Kagome gasped in pain, standing in front of Tintin. "T-Tin... Tin?" Blood pooled at the front of her body and she fell forward. She gagged and gasped as Tintin caught her, eyes wide. The robber then made his getaway as Tintin fell to his knees, holding his wife close.
"No, no, stay with me!" He pleaded. Kagome writhed in agony. "No, you can't die! What about Souta! What about me?!"
"Pl-please..." Kagome murmured as the sound of sirens echoed in the distance. "I c-can't... I won't last long... Ple-ease. K-kiss me once more." She begged. Tintin stared at her before leaning in and pressing his lips to her. As soon as her body went limp, he pulled back. Police officers ran in only to see the sight of the mourning reporter holding his now-deceased wife.
When you took it all you forgot
Your shadow, your shadow
Tintin set down the photo, staring off into the distance. The pitter patter of small feet caught his wiped away his tears as the door opened, revealing a little 8 year old boy with his strawberry blond hair. The little boy's brown eyes blinked up at the man who stood up.
"Daddy?" He said, tilting his head.
"Yeah, I know. Let's go and see mommy." Tintin smiled at the little boy before offering his hand. Souta grabbed the man's hand and the two made their way out of the Haddock estate. They made their way towards a field then up a hill before stopping at the top. "Did I ever tell you this was where I proposed to your mother?" Tintin muttered. Souta shook his head before looking at the gravestone on the hill.
"Hi, Mommy!" Souta walked forward, smiling softly at the gravestone. Tintin stared sadly at the stone.
"Hello, love. I hope you're doing well." He muttered before a tear slid down his face.
When you took it all you forgot
Your shadow, your shadow, your shadow, oh oh
