I'm so sorry that I rarely update anymore! I just am way to lazy to ever bring myself to get online and update. I'm not about to abandon any of the stories I have, but when ever I get myself to update something always goes wrong. For the past two times that I try to update this story my window ends up getting closed. Erasing all of the process that I had made and then I get really discouraged. All I wanted to do was look up if they used pens or quills in their time period. Ahhhh... aww well i'll just start over.

As I was leaving the throne room my gaze wandered over to Commander Erwin nodding to his female associate.

~After her Visit to the Infirmary~

I was walking back to my room after I checked in at the infirmary to get the cut bandaged. The nurse seemed very amused after hearing about my plan. She couldn't stop laughing at the thought of anyone blackmailing the King. After she carefully bandaged my neck she instructed me to change the bandages every twenty four hours. As a precaution to make sure the wound didn't get infected. Then she sent me on my way wishing me good luck in the survey corps.

The nurse was really nice I thought to myself as I as walking down the long hallways. But as I touched the material around my neck I asked myself if all of this was really necessary. I mean the cut wasn't even the width of a fingernail, as if it would get infected. There's no way I would let an infected wound kill me compared to a titan.

Anyways I needed to get a few personal items to bring with me from my room. When I got to my room I gabbed my medium sized messenger bag from the table and laid it down on the bed. Going over to my desk I opened the bottom drawer and pulled out a leather bound journal and a pen. Placing the two items at the bottom of the bag, I turned towards the window. The last three years of memories filled the pages of the precious journal. However the journal held more than just thoughts, it could hold anything I wanted to. Poems, drawings, and melodies filled the countless amounts of pages.

On the windowsill were my two music boxes, the only things that Yui took during the titan attack besides our mother's dagger with the pretty dragon design. According to our mother the dagger had previously belonged to our father before he left. I never met him, but Yui use to tell me stories about me before bed. Every night I looked forwards to the stories she would tell me about how romantic and kind a man he was.

Looking around the empty room I checked to see if I forgot anything. I didn't see anything pop-out at me, so I didn't hesitate in leaving the room and everything else behind. I already had said my goodbyes, nothing was keeping me here anymore.

Upon reaching the main gate of the castle I could see Karen up ahead waiting for me. I guess that she wanted to see me off, other than Kyle I was her only friend within the wall.

"Come to see me off?" I asked her as I walked up to her, even though the answer was painfully obviously.

"Airi," she said, "promise me that you'll come back and visit. And not as a corpse."

Giggling a tad bit we linked our pinky's and I said, "I Airi Cross swear that I will not die."

Karen reached into her pocket and told me to close my eyes. Doing as I'm told I wait for her to give me further instructions. I feel a cool sensation on my finger, and when I reopen my eyes I see a silver ring on my finger.

"Now you won't forget our promise," she says cheerfully. I smile and trap her in a warm hug, mumbling a faint thank you into her shoulder.

Releasing her I jog over to Erwin who seems to be ignoring the red head I aw earlier. As soon as she spots me coming over she sprints over to me introducing herself as Zoe Hange.

"It's nice to meet you Hange-san, my name is Airi Cross. I'll be under your care from now on." I say to her and her eyes twinkle a bit. Suddenly she glomps me, knocking me off balance, and we both fall to the ground.

"Ahhh hahaha, sorry bout that, I just couldn't help myself!" She grinned bashfully extending her hand to help me up.

"Hange," I looked over to see Commander Erwin staring down Hange with a stern look. Although he wasn't glaring at me his expression sent shivers down my back. It was his overly thick eyebrows that would haunt my dreams at night.

"Ahh, hai coming sir," She replied and grabbed my hand leading me over to the horses.

There a story has been updated after literally forever!
