A/N: Alright, this past week has been sheer craziness. I am tired and excited at the same time. Why..well, I will mention that on the next chapter. I have been looking forward to getting to the next part of Lars's life change, that finally being a new graduate. So, with no further ado, a bid you this chapter!

Enjoy!

"Welcom to your first day of orientation as a Medical Lab Technician. I hope you're all ready to be challenged in this field. We offer a promising career, along with great benefits which includes: mdeical..."

Lars's ignored the non stop rambling of the instructor in charge of his on the job orientation. He was beyound bored with the typical, Life is great and sunshine and rainbows speech. He was ready to get to work in the field that he had spent four long and arduous years to work on. His bachelor's degree was finally his and he was ready to put it to use.

'Now if only this guy would shut the hell up, that would be nice.' Lars thought to himself in an annoyed tone as the instructor continued to talk on and on about things that were no longer relevant to the topic of MLT.

After about another twenty-minutes of the guy talking about his two cats that he and his wife adopted, the man finally got back on top the right subject "Alright, now I will ask for each and everyone of your to state your name and introduce yourselves to the class."

The male looked to the far left side of the room, the opposite side from where Lars sat at small wooden table along with two male strangers.

"Ma'am, I'll start with you." The zealous, young Instructor said pointing at a person that was out of Lars line of vision.

'Well this is about to take for ever!' Lars thought to himself impatiently while his bored, half slit eyes watched the woman with pink hair stand up.

Lars's eyes grew wide when the all too familiar color of magenta and light pink hair rose above the seated level of the crowd in the room.

Sure enough, a beautiful as always, Alissa stood up. She looked a bit shy, as usual. The woman wore a very causal white dress painted with black floral flowers.

"My name is Alissa Bosconovitch. I..um, I..I like reading books...a lot." Lars was too stunned by the presence of the woman. He could not believe that not only the woman of his dreams was standing just mere distances away from him, but that she was also attending the same orientation class as him. It is no shock that this woman got accepted into the Mishima Lab Development and Research Company. She was smart, hell she is the reason why he was able to graduate.

The blond was only able to get this job solely due to the fact that his brother was one the heirs to the company. He was guaranteed a position the moment Kazuya knew that he was getting his Bachelor's Degree.

'I can't believe this. I can't take this job. I just can't. I will lose my mind working side by side with her. Oh God, what if I have to work side by side with her!? My life would be ever more torturous.'

"Sir. Sir? Sir, can you hear me?" Lars snapped out of his trance and shook his head a few times before answering the instructor's question.

"Ye-yeah!" He stood up and tried his best to avoid looking in the direction of Alissa.

"My name is Lars..Alexandersson. I uh...I like video games and anime...you know stuff like that." He quickly took a seat after his statement.

A few people in the room chuckled a bit before the instructor continued on with the interrogation.

During lunch time, Lars chose to sit in the back of the orientation room at another wooden table, by himself. While the small crowd of students socialize among one another, Lars hesitated to write his text to his brother.

Hey Kaz, I need another job ~LA

...WTF r U tlkn bout!? :( ~KM

Look, I can't take this position. Do you have any other MLT position? O_o ~LA

U take this job or I kill you. That's ur only options! ~KM

'I can't take this! I can't work this close to her and not acknowledge her! This is too stressful. This is graduation night all over again.' Lars tilted his head back and peered his sun hue orbs at the light on the ceiling. He was now between a rock and a hard place...again. Kazuya shockingly was not going to bail him out of this awkward situation. 'I guess I need to be a man about this and just face my fears. But how?'

Lars readjusted his head back to normal and stared at the text messages that between him and his eldest brother.

"Do you mind if I sit here?" Lars held his breath the moment the sweet and soothing words of Alissa reached his ears.

The young man's golden orbs shifted away from the screen on his phone and onto those familiar vibrant, green orbs of Alissa.

Lars nodded his head. In the midst of nodding, his eyes caught a peek of Alissa's cleavage, which caused him to blush profusely.

The man studied how Alissa gracefully sat down in the wooden across from him. His peered into her green orbs again as did hers peer into his. For about a good ten minutes, the two just stared at each other in silence and awe.

"So, um. Congrats on graduating, Lars." Alissa finally broke the silence between the two.

Lars nodded shyly. "Thanks...Ali-ssa." The nervous male could barely muster the strength to say the woman's name.

"Look, I-I-"

"I didn't mean to say that you should lose my number! I was just angry!" Lars blurted his sentence, not even realizing the he cut-off Alissa's sentence in the process.

Alissa slowly shook her head from side to side "No, I am the one who should apologize to you Lars. I was so upset with my ex for breaking up with me to go back to her ex, that I called you over to help me get through the pain and I only ended up causing more pain. I'm sorry Lars. I am really sorry for treating you like that. You didn't deserve to be reservoir for my misguided anger." Alissa words were full of tenderness as well of guilt. The amount of passion in her voice was enough to make Lars forgive the woman on the spot.

Lars huffed out a bout of air. "So, does this means we're friends again?"

Alissa flashed the man a wide smile.

"Yes. I would like to come over and check out your new apartment." Lars furrowed his brow in response to Alissa's statement.

"How did you know that I moved?"

"Um, your brother told me during my interview... I asked him about you." Alissa torn her eyes away from Lars's gaze. He could tell that the woman was embarrassed to admit that she was thinking about him.

"Oh, well, uh, it's not that glamorous." Truth be told, Lars was not to proud of his apartment. Yes, he was grateful to his brother for renting this apartment for him, but the pest were out of control.

"It's fine, I just want catch up with you and talk.."

'Well, that not exactly what I meant. My apartment is fine, it's just the spiders...'

A/n: The next chapter will finally be a date between Lars and Alissa and the spiders. I hope you all enjoyed this chapter! Also chapters will get a bit longer so that the story can progress more. As always, I will post next week!
