Okay, so I honestly have no clue why it was doing that, I'm sorry for the confusion, but I had posted the chapter in a rush before, so it looked weird. Also, thanks to Mana's Madness for pointing it out. When I messaged you I thought you had meant something else, but I fixed it and hopefully this time, it will be fixed. Thanks again!

-Chapter 8-

Yugi glanced around the room nervously. A lot of people he knew were there, people that knew him. It would be a bit suspicious if he suddenly sneaked off, but... He had to try, even if someone followed him.. and found out, it would be easier to explain to one person and ask them to keep his secret then have everyone find out.

And he would never admit it, but sometimes he thought that it would be just easier to revel his secret.

And then there was a hand on his and he looked up in surprise, his surprise grew further when he saw the crimson eyes staring at him in worry. "Hey," Yami whispered to him, gripping his hands a little tighter and causing Yugi's face to color, "are you okay? You seem jittery," he commented.

Yugi tried to give him a reassuring smile, but even with all the acting he did, his nerves were getting to him and he could tell that it must have looked fake. "I'm okay," he assured. "I just.. I'm not used to these kind of events, I'm afraid I'm going to do something stupid," the lie just came out and Yugi inwardly cringed.

He was getting too good at that.

He then jumped, watching as people entered the room, popcorn in his hands and at the doors there was a flash of green, he only knew one person with hair like that, Noa. He jerked his hand away from Yami's and brought to his chest, standing up abruptly and gave a shy smile to Yami. "I.. Um, I'm going to go get snacks," he stuttered out. "Do you want anything?" he asked.

Yami shook his head in answer. "It's fine," he slowly began to get up from his seat. "Why don't I go wi-"

Yugi's eyes widened and he shook his head, placing both of his palms on Yami's chest, forcing him back into his seat. "No!" he shouted, causing some odd looks and a shocked one from Yami and quickly clasped his hands behind his back, his face going bright red. "I-I mean, I mean... I c-can get it," he glanced around nervously and darted out of there as quick as he could.

First, Yugi bought a thing of popcorn and a soda, just in case Yami was the one that went looking for him, he had no clue how long he would be, he could make the excuse that he had just gotten out of line. Hopefully, if Noa were still around in that scenario, he wouldn't say anything.

Slowly, on shaky legs, Yugi walked up to the younger boy that held so much power. He was leaning against the wall, a hazy gaze on the door to the theater. He stood in front of him for a moment, shifting from either foot awkwardly, wondering if he should say anything. He didn't want to anger the other. Just the simplest mistake could lead to his and Ryou's secret being revealed.

"I bet you're starting to wonder what I want," he finally spoke and Yugi jumped before nodding quickly. Noa let out a sigh. "I asked you to invite the mutt, as Seto so fondly calls him," Yugi titled his head to the side in confusion. He was wondering what Kaiba had to do with all of this, well, besides him being Noa's family. "Since I knew he would invite Seto. Seto would, obviously, refuse and then he would turn to Mokuba for help. Thus Mokuba would join in with them after Seto got another ticket for him," his eyes only flickered to Yugi for a moment.

Yugi cupped his chin, his brow furrowing in thought. "So... it's not Jounouchi that you wanted here, but it wasn't Kaiba either.. it was his little brother?" he asked slowly, Noa didn't say a word, nor react. "Um.. I have a question, how did you know that Jounouchi-kun would invite Kaiba-san?" he asked, "The two argue a lot at school..." he trailed when Noa smirked.

"Yes, well, you don't see what goes on behind closed doors," he finally faced Yugi fully. "I suppose you didn't know he was in a relationship with Seto?"

Yugi's heart stuttered. He felt like he should have been more shocked at the sudden revelation, but he wasn't. At school, he had always noticed something... different about their relationship. Sure, they argued and insulted each other, but there was always something else there. At first it wasn't even noticeable, but... it had gotten more apparent when they had gotten together, though no one could see it.

Instead of actual fighting, it was more of a way to express their feelings, or so he guessed. A lightly smile tugged at his cheeks and he let out a giggle at thought of the two being together, then he became serious again. "So what you want has something to do with Mokuba... ah, you're not going to make me guess, are you?" he was good at riddles, not so much at guessing games.

Noa's head suddenly dropped, his hair covering his face. "N-No..." Yugi was surprised to hear the stutter come from his lips. "I have a question..." Yugi stayed silent, waiting for him to finish. "You're... you have friends right? You've made friends before?"

Yugi considered this. He had Ryou and Mai as Yugi, and he had gained Jounouchi and Yami as friends too. He had also made friends with most of the crew as Yuki, so yeah, he had friends. He voiced his answer, curiosity lacing his words as he did so.

"T-Then..." the stutter was back, "will you help me make friends with Mokuba?"

Oooo

Ryou had truly believed that sitting through the movie was going to be one of the most awkward experiences he was going to have to go through, with Bakura next to him and Mai leaning over him every so often to shoot glares at him, in return, Bakura would only smirk and Mai would clench her fist.

But he had to admit, he was having fun. He loved watching the movies his friend starred in because he knew how they were made, he knew what she had to go through to get the part, and what it took to finish the movie. It amazed him to see the transformation, always, he would never get tired of it.

"Oh god, I can't watch," Mai groaned and looked away just as her on-screen-self was doused in a goopey green goop and Ryou laughed along with the rest of the audience. She leaned closer to him, whispering, "Do you know how long it took to get that stuff out of my hair?"

Ryou just smiled at her, he had his fair share of goop in his hair. "I understand," he patted her hand and turned his attention back to the screen, replacing his other hand and immediately pulling away, his face heating up, when he realized that Bakura's hand way already there. He silently thanked the darkness of the movie theater.

And then cursed it because he felt like he was in some romantic chick flick, not that they were bad to watch, but usually bad to live through with all of the drama and awkward feelings that you had to experience. Who want to live through something like that? Certainly not him.

But still...

He blushed again.

Ooooo

Yugi let out a little giggle as Noa's face increasingly turned red. "You want me to help you make friends?" he wondered, cautiously, he still did not want to anger the boy.

Noa glared at the ground. "Yes, well, I heard that you were most inept at making friends, you can, and you will, help me, do I make myself clear!"

Feeling a little lighter about the situation, Yugi mock-saluted. "Yes sir!" he let out another giggle and then paused. "Ah, so, have you already tried to make friends with him?" he asked, Noa opened his mouth to reply, but was cut off as Yami stopped by them.

"Yugi," he grinned, "I was wondering what was taking you so long.."

"Ah, sorry, the line was really long, and then I bumped into Noa," he explained and gestured to the other boy. "Kaiba's step brother."

Yami's eyes narrowed for a moment and then he wrapped an arm around Yugi's shoulder, starting to guide him away from Noa, Noa throwing a smirk in his direction and Yugi could only watch, confused at the silent exchange between the two.

"I'll speak with you again soon, Yugi," Noa frowned and walked off.

Yugi looked back at him for a moment and then turned to Yami, the night was turning out better than he had anticipated. And once again, the thought of it being a date circled in his mind. With Yami's arm wrapped around, still so as they returned to their seats, the though couldn't have been stronger.

And he didn't allow himself to squash it because for once, being himself, he felt happy.

Once they were back in the theater and in their seats, Yugi turned to Yami with a bright grin. "Thank you for bring me here," he whispered, trying to be as quiet as possible. "I'm having a great time."

"Me too," Yami coped the smile and placed his hand on Yugi's and they both blushed, turning their attention back to the screen.
