Bonjour my faithful readers!

It has been an amazing journey. This story started out as procrastination from a story I was trying to write for a school project. it wasn't supposed to be anything, just a form of self-fulfillment, and yet here we are now.

Songs:

I Lived- One Republic (This song isn't included in the story, but I feel like if it represents the story perfectly)

Something- The Beatles

I hope you guys enjoy this epilogue : )

Epilogue

Hope when you take that jump
You don't fear the fall
Hope when the water rises
You build a wall

Hope when the crowd screams out
They're screaming your name
Hope if everybody runs
You choose to stay

Hope that you fall in love
And it hurts so bad
The only way you can know
Is give it all you have

And I hope that you don't suffer
But take the pain
Hope when the moment comes
You'll say...

I, I did it all
I, I did it all
I owned every second
That this world could give
I saw so many places
The things that I did
Yeah, with every broken bone
I swear I lived

Hope that you spend your days
But they all add up
And when that sun goes down
Hope you raise your cup

I wish that I could witness
All your joy and all your pain
But until my moment comes
I'll say...

I, I did it all
I, I did it all
I owned every second
That this world could give
I saw so many places
The things that I did
Yeah, with every broken bone
I swear I lived

Whoa
Whoa
Whoa
Oh
Oh
Yeah, with every broken bone
I swear I lived
Yeah, with every broken bone
I swear I lived

I, I did it all
I, I did it all
I owned every second
That this world could give
I saw so many places
The things that I did
Yeah, with every broken bone
I swear I lived

Annabeth

Santorini was… breathtaking. Honestly, I'm tired of coming up with so many adjectives to describe all the cities we've been to, but I think Santorini must be the closest thing on earth that feels like heaven. Literally. With its sun-kissed beaches, sparkling sea-green water, bright sunny skies, vibrant nature-friendly colors, it was paradise. Our hotel, the Atlantis Beach Villa, was located in the southern region of the island, over-looking the Sea of Crete. I can't say I was not jumping around like a three-year old when I saw our hotel room.

"Good morning, handsome," I greet Percy wrapping my arms around his neck from behind, kissing his cheek. He's sitting on the counter of our hotel room, eating a bowl of cereal. The hotel was modern and had the traditional Greek architecture. The bedroom had a balcony over-looking the beach, a fancy bathroom, a small living space, and a dining area with a bar/breakfast counter-top. This room was very comforting, if I do say so myself.

"Good morning, beautiful," he grins adorably at me as I settle in next to him, grabbing an apple and taking a bite out of it. His grins grows wider, his green eyes crinkling at me as he eyes the apple. Gods he's gorgeous.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" I question curiously.

"Because I just remembered the first day we met and you were chewing on an apple, wearing your ripped Beatles t-shirt and ripped shorts with your sexy tights and combat boots. When I first saw you, I was like 'Woah, that girl is beautiful.'"

My lips stretch out into a goofy smile. "Yeah and my hair was purple and green," I laugh shaking my head. "I saw you sitting there, hiding with your book in your face. It just seemed odd to me, and when you looked up at me, I fell in love with your eyes. The most stunning green eyes I have ever seen."

He chuckles halfheartedly, shaking his head. "I also remember how you seduced me. Poor innocent, geeky me, reduced to a stuttering, sweaty mess whenever you even so much as looked at me," he retorts, smirking.

"Oh, shut up," I complain, punching his shoulder. "Don't think you were the victim here. How was I supposed to resist those green eyes of yours, adorkable glasses, with your sexy suspenders and bowties? I had no chance."

"Oh so you only liked me for my looks?" he looks astounded. I punch his shoulder again, laughing louder.

"You are such a dork." He laughs throatily, shrugging.

"Pool or beach?" he asks some time later after we have both finished our breakfast.

"Beach. Definitely beach."

Around noon, we make our way down to the beach. I decided to go with a simple black bikini top with the tie around my neck and high waist bottoms. Sexy yet classy.

"You look like a pin-up girl," Percy comments, as he extends our towels on a shaded area by the palm trees.

"Is that a compliment?" I wonder smiling as I put down my beach bag.

"Definitely a compliment," he replies kissing my red-stained lips.

We lay there a couple minutes before I tell Percy to put some sunblock on my back, he happily obliges grinning the whole time. Boys. Once we're done we run towards the water, diving in full speed. When we come up, Percy swims backwards as I laugh joyously, splashing him.

"You punk!" Percy exclaims, half yelling and half choking. I stick my tongue at him mockingly and without warning he lifts me over his shoulders.

"Percy! What the hell!" I yell, smacking his butt repeatedly.

"Oh I like that," he replies smacking my butt in return. I gasp.

"You jerk," I squirm. "Put me down," I demand, half-heartedly.

"Nope, I like this position. It gives me a nice view," he chuckles, walking deeper into the water and fondling my butt cheeks.

I pull his shorts up, trying to derail him with a wedgy, but he slaps my butt again and before I know it he throws me into the water.

"Ass!" I sputter out, once I emerge from the water. The douche has the nerve to laugh in my face. "You think that's funny?"

"Kind of," he chuckles. We'll see about that. I dive back in the water and pull his shorts down, Percy fights me, but I'm too fast as I remove his shorts and leave him butt-naked.

"Not so funny now is it?" I mock, taunting him with the shorts.

"Annabeth… give me my shorts back," he warns, blushing, his hands covering his manhood.

I let out a giggle, enjoying this way too much. "Nuh, uh."

"Annabeth," he groans pleadingly. And since I'm a sucker for this guy's puppy face, I give in. Stupid, stupid, love.

After our interesting swim we head back to the beach, gently shoving each other as we collect our things. We smile mischievously at one another as we dry ourselves up. I put on a cute black lacy tunic cover-up. When I look back at Percy, his eyes are glazed over.

"Dam." He says, releasing a gust of air. "Why are you so fucking sexy?" he wonders. I bite my lip, trying to not grin so widely.

"I could ask you the same thing," I smirk up at him. He grins then wraps his arm around my shoulder as we make our way to the hotel's beach lounge.

It's quite tropical actually. Dozens of colorful flowers, with bright green plants and several trees decorating the bar area. We sit at a table for two, as a waiter comes and asks what we'd like to drink.

"I'll take a piña colada, parakaló̱," I reply.

"Me too, ef̱charistó̱," Percy adds. The waiter excuses himself and we sit quietly admiring the place.

"I don't want to go home yet," Percy admits, looking down at his fumbling hands. I sigh sadly.

"Me neither. Once we get back, the real world is going to crash in on us. But look at the bright side, at least I'll still be in New York. I mean, imagine if I would have chosen some other school, out of the state?" I try to be positive, for both our sakes. But I'm selfish. I want all of him, every day.

"Yeah, I guess that's good. I would have been devastated if that would have happened."

Once our drinks and lunch arrive, we settle into more casual conversation. We chat about the good things of going back home. Like Percy's senior year, and how he has a chance of being valedictorian if everything goes well. We talk about how much we miss our parents and how happy we'll be to see our friends again. There may be some inconveniences we may have to deal with, but there is a lot of good things to look forward to as well.

Percy

We stay in the lounge for most of the day, and as night falls, we see it transform into a small club. DJ, drinks, dancing and everything. Annabeth and I sit on a love couch, by a bonfire, laughing and touching. Fingers roaming and kisses exchanging. When the DJ decides to play some slow songs he chooses none other than the Beatles.

"Can I have this dance?" I ask, formally extending my hand towards Annabeth, trying to hide a smile. She giggles and takes it, pulling me to the dancefloor. The song plays, with the sweet lyrics soon following…

Something in the way she moves
Attracts me like no other lover
Something in the way she woos me

I don't want to leave her now
You know I believe and how

Somewhere in her smile she knows
That I don't need no other lover
Something in her style that shows me

Don't want to leave her now
You know I believe and how

We dance slowly, holding each other closely. Nothing else really matters right now as we hear the words flowing out of this beautiful melody. Annabeth snuggles her face in my neck and squeezes me tightly, and I couldn't have been more in love.

You're asking me will my love grow
I don't know, I don't know
You stick around now it may show
I don't know, I don't know

Something in the way she knows
And all I have to do is think of her
Something in the things she shows me

Don't want to leave her now
You know I believe and how

I spin Annabeth out, then back in and dip her slowly as the song finishes. "I love you," I whisper into her lips.

"I love you too," she replies, intertwining her fingers in my hair. I love when she does that. Our foreheads touch and I gaze into her beautiful silver pools knowing that she's it for me. We kiss chastely as I bring her back up on her feet. We dance a bit more but then we decide to call it a night.

Our last day in Santorini was spend in a lazy relaxing morning, a late breakfast by the pool, a walk along the beach, a night swim in the Jacuzzi, and star-gazing up at the star-lit sky on our room balcony. I arranged a private romantic dinner for two, that soon turned into a hot make-out session and then to some steamy love-making.

What can I say? I'm irresistible… And so is Annabeth of course.

The day back at Athens was spend doing some last minute sightseeing. We visited a few museums and saw a few art galleries before heading back to pack for the long trip home. It was a bittersweet feeling, but we both managed.

When we landed, our parents happily welcomed us home.

"Oh, honey it's so good to see you!" My mom gushed tearfully, squeezing my lungs in the process. "I missed you so much."

"I missed you too, mom," I wheeze out. She apologetically releases me and my dad hugs me next.

"It's good to have you back, son," he gives me a manly pat, then takes my bag. I greet Annabeth's parents once they stop gushing all over her as well, then we all head out of the airport.

I kiss Annabeth goodbye. It feels weird, since I haven't had the need to do it in three months, but I guess I better get used to it. Once home, my mom bombards me with questions about our trip and I happily indulge her, leaving out certain details. But soon the jetlag starts to take a toll on me and I excuse myself before finally going up to bed.

My phone rings once I'm in bed. Annabeth. "Hello?" I smile, sleepily into the phone.

"Was it just me, or did it feel weird saying good-bye earlier?" she greets me.

"Nope. I felt it too," I chuckle. "How were your parents?"

"They were ecstatic. Mom was a mess because in a few more days, I'll leave again."

"I can relate," I say quietly. "My mom wanted every detail."

"Yeah." We talk a bit more before finally saying good-night. It took a few hours for me to fall asleep, though I was tired. But not having Annabeth next to me at night was harder than I thought it was going to be.

The next couple of days were a mixture of melancholy and excitement. After we got back, our friends threw us a welcome home party. We ate hamburgers and junk food while catching up. Leo and Reyna went too, which was surprising since they now live in California, but they managed to come visit their family for the summer.

"Oh my god! He gave you a promise ring? That is so sweet," I hear Hazel exclaim, examining Annabeth's finger.

"Percy is amazing," Piper adds, agreeing with a broad smile/

Annabeth sighs catching my eye. She shrugs apologetically and I just smile. She replies with a simple "Yup" before changing the subject.

"So you managed to pull it off?" Frank asks me, nudging my shoulder.

"Yeah, it turned out to be perfect. She loved it."

"I had a feeling she would," he nods, agreeing. Jason and Nico soon join us by the bonfire. All of us with our respective others enjoying the night with friends. We joke, we tell stories, and we laugh. I'll miss these moments. Being with old friends and new friends, but I know it wont be the last time.

Annabeth

I spend the last few days packing up for NYU. Percy was there, sometimes playfully helping me pack, while others he just straight out dumped all my stuff out my suitcase, stubbornly refusing to let me go. I had to punch him a few times to set him straight.

"Percy would you cut it out?" I ask, exasperated.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry. But what the heck am I supposed to do without you for so long?" he pouts, and I know he's sort of joking.

"Visit me. It's not that far. Just 30 minutes away."

"It would feel more like hours away." I smile sadly at him, because it will feel that way.

On my last day, Percy was allowed to sleep over. We spend the whole night just talking. Planning for weekend visits from either me or him. We planned for dates, nights out with friends and everyday phone calls. In the morning I said good-bye to my parents before Percy drove me to the campus dorms. We unloaded the car silently as I settled into my room. It was a simple dorm I would be sharing with a roommate, but it was fine for now. Percy looked around for a bit, helping me unpack.

"Are you nervous?" he asks after a few minutes.

"A bit."

"You got this ok?" he grabs my face in his hands and kisses me sweetly.

"I know. I just wanted a reason for you to kiss me," I reply cheekily. Percy grins and dives in for another kiss.

"When does your roommate get here?" Percy asks, eyes darkening.

"Tomorrow," I smirk, knowing where this conversation is going. Soon we are a blur of kisses and touches as we crash into the bed, laughing. Our clothes soon disappear and so does everything else as I get consumed with Percy.

"It's going to be a long year not seeing you every day," Percy comments as I walk him down to his car later in the day.

"I know. But it'll pass," I squeeze his hand. He opens his car door and turns to look at me. He hugs me tightly kissing my forehead before giving me one last searing kiss. I hug him back with all I got, managing to keep the tears at bay for when he leaves. "You better call me every day," I demand, pointing a finger at him.

"I will," he promises. "I'll see you for your birthday." He pecks me a few more times making me laugh. My birthday was the ninth of September, only a week away. I could do a week.

"Can't wait," I reply quietly. I can't really say good-bye. Because it isn't… not really. Percy sighs before turning on the engine and drives off. I watch him, then look down at my ring, and remember the promises we made each other. I wistful smile reaches my lips as I head back inside my dorm room. Yeah, it's not really a good-bye.

Percy

I kiss Annabeth one last time before driving off. My throat clenches at just the thought of not spending so much time with her but as I look at the ring that matches the one on her finger I know that we will be ok. That I'll be ok. This temporary good-bye would be just a memory when we manage to fulfill these promises of forever. For now, I'll just have to be happy with phone calls and week-end visits, as well as less sex. Now, that's going to be an issue.

I sigh. Shaking my head at this ridiculous form of thought and start planning the next time I'll get to see my soul mate. Soon. Very, very soon.

Well... This is it, the end of the road for these two... sort of.

There will be one or two future-takes later on. This story was supposed to be super corny and smutty but it was also supposed to be realistic and smart. That is why they didn't get engaged or they didn't get pregnant, because in the real world a couple that is completely in love don't always get married right out of high-school. They wait.

But don't worry, their could be a surprise lurking in the near future.

I would like to say a last farewell and thank you to those who stuck with me until the end. It means a lot to me to have all the love and support you guys gave me for my first story. I hope you enjoyed my story as much as I did.

I love you guys and girls.
