Okay so ditch the schedule, i'm way too lazy to keep it. I however promise that I will still update three times a week it'll just be at random days during the week though.

We got up the mud slope we fell into by climbing onto Shosanna's crobat elevating up one at a time. She revealed her charizards name; Fuego, she needed it in order to guide us through the rest of the cave. However it seemed Lagoon took a disliking to the charizard and blasted him with water at every opportunity; resulting in the large fiery salamander to shoot the totodile with small flames.

Lagoon was immediately obedient, killing little rock types like geodudes with his water attacks. He was getting powerful fast; his bite was getting stronger too he once even OHKOed a sandslash; giving him a huge ego boost. Jackal took a step back however he let Lagoon take most of the challenges from the weaker Pokémon that overpopulated the area, he only stepped in to kill the occasional onix or machoke, but he only did it for the experience.

"Soak it!"I ordered the totodile, he not only had his weak attacks that a Pokémon gets when they are first born, but due to cross species breeding, he had powerful attacks including an icy fang attack and an unfamiliar water attack that for some reason always struck first before any opposing Pokémon. If Jack ever decided to want to lash out and act up again; he had some serious competition to deal with.

The totodile covered the opposing geodude in water, melting it into a pile of mud. Jackal cut off the translation once we exited that mud hole Lagoon called home. Using his aura took a lot out of him visibly and left him tired out.

Eventually I got out of the cave; Shosanna released Fuego and climbed on top of the charizard. "Hey what are you doing?" I asked, though I already knew.

"I'm leaving, I have to go to Mt. Silver and train; I'll be seeing you though. Just get to the league and we might meet again Acevus." Shosanna yelled. I could tell she wasn't the best at good byes, but neither was I so we had something in common.

"See you later Shosanna Knightly!" I called to her, but she was too far away to hear me, I think she got the message. Cianwood was under 16 miles away. So I left the area, if I hurried I could make it before nightfall while still getting in some training.

I was jogging with Lagoon on my shoulders riding piggy back; surely I wouldn't be able to do this when he was a 15 foot 5,000 pound feraligatr. Lagoon was already my favorite and I'm not ashamed to admit it. Not only was he cute, but he was young, naïve and his bite was lethal. Jackal was quiet and a little depressed at Shosanna's departure, possibly because he considered her more of a person than he thought of me. Though I doubt he would ever admit to that. Jack was also getting powerful quickly; his strength was multiple times more abundant than Lagoon's. Lucario also wasn't the type of Pokémon to learn a lot of good moves naturally within its early stages. I would have to get him some TMs to learn in order to perfect his already decent move set.

"Ice it Lagoon." I ordered the blue alligator, his fangs covered in ice as he attempted to bite down on a raticate, but the rodent easily avoided the attack.

"Hey stop that!" A young boy hollered out to me, he was around 13 possibly; meaning he was training illegally. The raticate was apparently his, I should've guessed, they weren't particularly native to these parts.

"What did I do?" I asked the child, I slowly taking out Jackals ball preparing for an assault.

"You're trying to attack Wizzy you asshole; back off you I'll punch you in your goddamn face!" He cursed; I could see that the boy wasn't used to being so vulgar, but he was away from his mom so I guessed he must've just been enjoying his freedoms.

"Kid you need calm down with that shit before I knock your teeth down your throat." I threatened, asserting my obvious air of dominance by walking closer to the young trainer.

"Whatever; I can tell you don't even have a badge-" I interrupted his bragging.

"Listen I don't need a gym badge to make a living rat disappear and don't think that I don't have experience at doing that kinda' stuff either." I informed the young trainer calmly. At that point I was only about a foot away from the boy. He was a lot shorter from a distance.

"How about you prove it!" He ran backwards towards the waves that were washing up on the sandy beach. The raticate ran up to Lagoon, whom was still on the ground and slashed the totodile across the abdomen. The totodile took the attack and enveloped himself in water then proceeded to launch himself at a speed that made him appear almost invisible. It hit the full force and sent the opposing rat flying.

"Use your fangs raticate and get in close!" The young trainer ordered loudly; trying to take control of the match.

"Douse it before it can get to you!" I told the Lagoon who was already on it before I could finish my sentence. A stream of water shot from the totodile's mouth keeping the raticate at bay.

"Hit him before he can shoot another one of those." The raticate dodged another water blast by my totodile and used a fast tackle move that was unlike the ones I had seen before.

"Now tear into it with your fangs." He calmly said; thinking he had already won the match, but the young boy was sorely was mistaken. The raticate's fangs started glowing faintly before he tore in my totodile's scales, drawing a little bit of blood. However Lagoon had alligator skin, so it wasn't so easily penetrable. The young totodile jetted out of the raticates mouth and onto the ground a few feet away. But before the rodent could even brace itself; Lagoon already coated himself with water and slammed into the rat. I could hear the raticate's ribs shatter from the impact.

"NO, WIZZY!" The boy ran forward and kicked Lagoon, but the gator easily avoided the attack and bit the kid in the shin. Although it was not hard enough to draw blood at all.

I was extremely proud of Lagoon, he just won his first trainer battle there was no reason to not be happy for him, but the trainer was already getting on my last nerve because of his attempt to kick my totodile. I demanded the boy to give me my reward and judging by his clothes an his attitude; the boy was must've well-off and could afford to lose a few dollars. He dug out some money and handed it to me; I had to get on one knee to take it from him, considering the pain in his leg from the bite that he had just received from Lagoon.

I walked a few more miles with the little totodile on my shoulders resting. Eventually I had to switch him with Jack for a while because I could tell Lagoon was pretty exhausted from his first battle.

I could see the Cianwood City Pokémon Center in the distance, I would rent a room and tomorrow challenge the gym. My path was just getting itself going and only a whole two months into training.
