Four POV
I looked in the mirror and saw my light blue hair. Oh, this had better be temporary. I threw on a black shirt and black shorts. I met Zeke, Uriah and Will all sporting different variations of the same "hairstyle" as mine. Zeke had purple hair, Uriah had bright green hair and Will had hot pink hair. I felt really bad or him.
"Four! My man! Love the hair!" Zeke said.
"Looked in a mirror lately, Zeke?" I replied, smirking. I have to say, of all the color choices, I think I got the best. There's no way I would survive with pink or purple, green's a bit too much and blue is my second favorite color. After black of course. I think blue is Tris' favorite color too. We walked outside to try and find the girls. I spotted them first. I burst out laughing. I guess if they wanted to be evil in a nicer way, this was the way to do it.
Tris had light blue hair, like my own, except for the fact that it looked a lot nicer than mine. Probably because she had gotten it done voluntarily, not in her shampoo. Marlene had green, Christina had pink and Shauna had purple. They all had their favorite colors. Oh, I get it. They picked what they wanted and then put it in our shampoo.
I looked at Tris questionally. She explained, "The prank was to dye your hair. We decided to do everyone a different color. Christina had plenty of permanent hair dye," she paused long enough to let that sink in. We all glared at Christina, who grinned evilly. I wasn't that mad because I got the best color. "We decided it would be best to dye our own hair too, to make you just a tad bit less mad. But we all picked our favorite colors, not yours. Sorry," Tris glanced at me and smiled. She knew that this would be my choice as well. Will however, did not appreciate this. He groaned and looked at Christina.
"Why did I have to pick her?" he mumbled under his breath, just so the boys and Tris could hear. Tris covered her mouth to hide her smile and Uriah started "coughing." I was pretty good at hiding my emotions, as long as I didn't look at Chris.
"So, you got your revenge. I'd say the war's over, is it not?" Zeke said, obviously freaking out after their first prank.
"Uh NO!" Marlene said. "You're going to be seeing a lot worse." I knew they wouldn't give up this easily. I can only begin to imagine what the have in store for us.
I walked back inside, my swimming trunks should be done in the wash, I might as well move them to the dryer. No sense crying over the blue hair I can't change. (I would never admit it, but I kind of like it.) I walked inside and opened up the washing machine. I peered inside but could not find my swimming trunks.
"Zeke! Do you have my swimming trunks?" I asked walking out of the door. Right as I walked out the door, I found my answer. They were hanging on the clothesline I had somehow managed to look past earlier. I walked over to grab mine, assuming one of the other boys had hung them up. Probably Will, he's the most responsible. I walked over and as soon as I got within five feet, a terrible smell hit me.
I covered my nose, "Eeew! What is that?"
It smelled a little bit like Christina's perfume. Oh no! They probably took our clothes out at the same time they did their hair and sprayed it with the perfume. Dang it! These are my only swim trunks and now they smell like perfume. And I'm way too lazy to actually wash them again. So… Let's just hope I don't see anyone I know anytime soon.
"I have an idea!" Uriah shouted, a little too excited.
"What?" Zeke said, sounding very annoyed.
"Let's take those paddleboards over to the beach on the other side. We can even explore those woods! They look really cool."
"Uri… That sign says not to go over there."
"Screw the rules! Let's go!"
I shrugged, Zeke gave us a tight smile, Uriah's smile was possibly wider than his face. Will looked really hesitant.
"Lighten up Francis! This is a vacation!" Uriah said.
I raised my eyebrows. Are we going to prank the girls too?
I guess Zeke wasn't lying when he said he is telepathic. "Can we get back at the girls? I don't like having them ahead." I subconsciously ran a hand through my hair. I think I may be getting attached to this color.
"Fine. Go get them then." Said Zeke.
Uriah skipped away. He's overly excited. I hope he isn't disappointed by what he sees. I began to walk slowly down to the dock, bring Zeke and Will with me. We walked into the boat house and found 11 paddleboards. We dragged 8 of them out. We didn't need any more, yet. I found paddles and did my best to adjust them to the correct size for each person. I could hear Uriah arguing with the girls. They didn't seem to trust him. I don't really blame them. When they finally agreed and walked down to meet us, I handed them all the appropriately sized life jacket. I made sure to give Tris and I the blue, Will and Chris the pink, Zeke and Shauna the purple and Marlene and Uriah the green. That's when it hit me. I have the perfect prank!
Hey guys! 2 updates in January! (Barely)
I just wanted to let you know that I have a great ORIGINAL idea for a new story. I think I will be starting it soon. I will probably try to get at least 5 chapters ahead before I publish the first one though. I don't want to get overwhelmed. I update infrequently enough already.
Please send me more pranks.
R&R,
TrisTobyUri
Please excuse all the grammar mistakes, my editor is lazy.
I really need help with the prank that the boys will pull on the girls later.
