It was a normal day at the Autobot base. Well, as normal as you could get with a bunch of giant alien robots and three children. Arcee and Smokescreen were arguing, and so were Ultra Magnus and Wheeljack. Miko was showing Bulkhead music on her guitar, Raf and Jack were playing video games, and Ratchet was complaining about the glitches in the computers. Optimus and Bumblebee were just coming through the groundbridge on the way back from a scouting mission when agent Fowler arrived.

"Prime!" Agent Fowler's shout was unheard in the utter chaos that was the Autobot base. He tried again, "PRIME!" This time all eyes and optics turned to him and the utter silence was broken only by the fading echo of Miko's guitar.

"Yes agent Fowler?" said 'bot replied calmly, and stepping to the front of the group.

"You wouldn't happen to know about any giant robotic bugs with a vendetta against yellow cars would you?"

Optimus blinked, "No, agent Fowler I am not aware of any large robotic bugs other than the Insecticons, and they have not been seen for some time."

"Besides," added Wheeljack, "If it was them I'd think they'd be lookin' for me, or Miko, not Bee."

"Yeah?" well take a look at this footage from yesterday in New York, and with that he strode over to the computers and brought up the video. No one was prepared for what appeared on the screen. A cybertronian sized wasp creature was making a beeline for a bright yellow car, as it approached it shot out two green energy beams, and the car exploded. The Wasp circled the wreckage several times buzzing in a way that sounded almost like incoherent muttering. It was only when the Wasp spoke that they realized that that was exactly what it was.

"That not Bumblebot either! Where izzz Bumblebot! Bumblebot will pay, for what Bumblebot did to Wazzzpinator!" It shouted angrily. Suddenly it took notice of the camera. It shot towards it just as it had with the car, only this time it transformed. The creature gave a feral cry lashing out with a clawed hand and the video ended. Everyone, bot and human, with the exception of agent Fowler, stared in shock at the blank screen.

Fowler was the first to break the silence with an irate, "So?"

Bumblebee responded with a flurry of beeps, clicks, and whirs.

"I believe Bumblebee is correct in saying that none of us have ever seen this Decepticon before," Optimus then stated. He turned to face everyone. "Ultra Magnus, you will take Wheeljack, Bumblebee and Bulkhead with you to New York. Arcee and Smokescreen, we will remain here and be prepared to rollout if we find the origin of this creature or should the others need back up. Rachet, search for any indication of where this creature came from." As the bots left through the ground bridge and Agent Fowler headed elsewhere the humans huddled together, whispering.

"I don't get it, Bee's never seen that thing before, why's it so mad at him?" Whispered Raf.

"Maybe he has seen him before," Miko whispered dramatically, "Maybe he's hiding some deep dark secret from everyone that-"

"Uhgg, no Miko, the Bots would never do that" Jack retorted sharply. She was about to reply when Ratchet slammed his fist down next to the consol.

"Why won't this glitch go away!" He shouted.

"Here let me try." Raf connected his computer and began trying to fix the problem. Meanwhile Miko stared at the computer screen in a rare moment of complete concentration.

"Are sure that's a glitch? If you look at it right it sorta looks like a pattern." She mumbled, more to herself than anyone else. Ratchet reexamined the map and drew back sharply in surprise.

"By the Allspark it is a pattern!" He began typing furiously. "This pattern is no glitch, we've been picking up faint energy readings that this Decpticon has been giving off, I just didn't recognize them before, there different from any Decepticon signal I've ever seen. It looks like they first showed up in… in Africa?"

"Then that is where we will go. Transform and rollout!"

Meanwhile in another reality… Sari trudged up the stairs of Sumdac Tower, she hadn't felt like taking the elevator. Because in the elevator she would have had time to think about him. By taking the stairs she could force all of her thoughts into putting one foot in front of the other. All too soon she reached the top of the stairs and she stepped onto the roof of the tower. She didn't want to be there and yet, she had a burning need to be there as if she knew that something important was waiting for her. And that was when she felt it, the faintest of ripples in space time, like a miniature space bridge had gone off. She would have simply ignored it had it not been identical to a much, much more volatile ripple she had felt some time ago, on Dinobot Island. The location where Wasp had become overloaded with transwarp energy and destroyed most of the island when he exploded. But why would they be identical, unless, unless maybe they lead somewhere. So maybe is it possible could he be alive? She could not contain her excitement, even though she knew it was foolish to get her hopes up, as she rushed to go find Optimus and Bulkhead.
