OH MY GOSH GUYS IM SO SORRY! School was SOOOO busy! The last day was Wednesday, so I should hopefully be able to start updating more regularly soon.
I closed my eyes just before the pie hit me. You know how in the movies there's some dramatic pause and then the main character wipes off their eyes and licks the pie saying, "Delicious."
Yeah. No. That did not happen. It went more like this. I get hit in the face with the pie. Pie goes everywhere. I try to wipe off the pie with my hands, but it gets everywhere. Pie tastes disgusting.
"Eww!" What type of pie is this?"
Uriah smirked, "You got a Vinegar pie and Four got a Dorito and Onion pie."
I turned around and saw Tobias pouring a water bottle over his head on the patio. I could see him through the glass door. He turned around covered in water, but no pie was in sight and gave me the thumbs up. I looked down at myself. I was wearing blue shorts and a t-shirt I got at a show I did. I walked over to the fridge, pulled out a water bottle, walked out the door and dumped the water bottle on my head too. The water did very little besides soak me entirely.
Tobias looked over at me and smiled. He walked over with his hands behind his back.
"Oh no!" I started slowly backing away. He caught onto what I was doing and ran at me. He caught up and smashed the remains of his onion and Doritos pie into my face.
"Gosh, T-Four! My face smells like onions, vinegar AND Doritos now!"
Uriah sat there for a second… I was really hoping he wouldn't catch on.
A grin spread across his face, "YOU SAID T! HIS REAL NAME STARTS WITH A T!" At this point, everyone in the gang had walked in, with confused expressions on their faces.
"Hey, Tyler!" Uriah shouted. Tobias looked at him with a bored expression on his face.
"Really?"
"Okay… Not Tyler then…Thomas?"
"Give it a rest, Uri," Zeke said, walking around the corner. I reached up to my face and grabbed a glob of the combined pie. Then, without any warning, I ran at Uriah and tackled him, shoving the pie in his face. The brown-ish color on his face really complemented his green hair. Totally. I swear.
I quickly got off him and ran inside to one of the four showers. Four and Uriah went to the showers in the boys' room. I actually like the blue hair, so I haven't done anything to get it out. I personally think that Tobias secretly likes it but would never admit it. He, unlike Will and Zeke, hasn't spent a bunch of time trying to get it out. I think that having my entire head blue is a bit much, so when I get back home and the dye comes out I might just dip dye it or something like that.
No way am I narrating her shower… That's a little weird…
As many people have noticed, people have very deep thoughts in their shower. I'm a little nervous to go home now because I'm not sure how my dad will react to me having blue hair. He doesn't like anyone calling attention to themselves, especially me. He thinks it's selfish. I'm pretty sure my mom will be cool with it though.
I walked into my room and grabbed a pair of jean shorts and a black tank top that shows off my hair. I stepped out of the room and laughed. There stood Tobias with his blue hair and his normal black tee. The thing that made it funny was that he was wearing the jeans that were the same color as mine.
He looked at me sideways trying to figure out why I was laughing.
I said, "Wait 'til we get outside, Christina will let you know."
We walked out on the deck together where everyone else, minus Uriah, was sitting. "Oh. My. Gosh!" Christina shouted. "You're matching! That's like the cutest thing ever!" Tobias' mouth formed an "O" shape.
"We actually didn't plan it," I explained, "But I walked out of the room and saw him and started laughing. He was totally oblivious," I said, joking.
"The only thing," Zeke started, "Is that Four needs some shorter shorts." He finished with a smirk. He earned a collective laugh. Tobias was ready.
"Oh. I think I can find a nice pair of scissor inside? Would that make it better?"
"Actually… Um… I think your shorts are the PERFECT length." Zeke said, "I don't have any interest in looking at your butt. That's for Tris and Tris only." Everyone laughed more.
"So," I said after everyone calmed down, "What should we do?"
"Well, it's only 1:00, so we have time, how about we go fishing?" Marlene said.
"Fishing? Eew! Nobody likes fishing!" Christina said.
"There's only one way to find out," Zeke said, "All in favor of fishing raise your hand,"
Everyone but Christina raised their hands. Uriah even poked his head out of the cabin to raise his.
"Ugh. Fine." She gave up. I started to walk toward the stairs going down to the dock. Most of the group followed.
"I'll be right down!" Uriah and Zeke shouted at the same time.
"Woah… Hold up… 10 steps back… BRO MOMENT!" Will said.
We walked down the stairs and all found poles in the boat house. I grabbed one and put a cute little fish lure on it. Yes, I just called it cute.
"Four! You driving or am I?" I called.
"I've got it unless, of course, you want to?"
"Nah, I'm good. You go ahead." I plopped down on the seat across from him. He stood by the boat lift ready to lower the boat into the water. Christina daintily approached the boat. Four, being the gentlemen carefully helped her into her seat. Somehow, she had found a hot pink rod, a pink lure, with PINK fishing line.
"Um, Christina? I'm not sure that's going to help you catch fish."
"Who said I was coming to catch fish, remember, I got outvoted." Will, Shauna and Marlene all walked over at the same time holding their rods.
We were all sitting in the boat. Uriah and Zeke were nowhere in sight. It looked like we were going to have some downtime.
"Logically, to catch a fish, you should have your pole at an 110-degree angle and…"
"Okaaay! Will! Keep the Erudite thoughts to yourself." Shauna said.
"But, it's very important to know the proper way to hold the pole in order to…"
We were saved by Uriah and Zeke turning the corner at the bottom of the stairs. Shauna and Marlene were sitting at the angle allowing them to get a good view first. They burst out laughing. It was only a view seconds before I could see them. They looked ridiculous! They were wearing identical fishing hats! I don't know why, but it looked hilarious on them. Maybe it was the fact that they had green and purple hair. They quickly grabbed fishing poles and jumped into the boat. Tobias lowered it into the water and then got in the front seat to drive. We pulled out and went to find the perfect fishing spot!
As you could probably tell, that was a filler chapter. It had like NO plot. I have no idea where I'm going with this, but they will probably go back home soon. I'm so sorry it was crap and I haven't updated in forever
Any suggestions?
R&R,
