Tobias POV

I pulled out of the boat slip, still laughing at Uriah and Zeke. Those two are a handful. I drove around for a bit, I've never been on this lake before so it might take me a while to find a good place. I watched Shauna put her feet up on the front of the boat. She was sitting in the seat directly in front of me that's more like a couch. Christina, who was sitting next to Will, leaned on his shoulder. It was pretty calm out on the lake. I'd be perfectly content just sitting around watching the waves.

The silence was interrupted by a phone ringing. Really? I thought we all agreed to turn those off. I looked around for the culprit. It was Tris.

"Sorry guys," she said while reaching into her pockets to find her phone, "it has to be my mom or dad. They're the only ones who can reach me when my phone is on silent."

She answered.

"Hey, mom!" She paused.

"Oh. Really? That's cool, but I'm still on vacation?"

"I don't have a choice? Alright. I'll tell them, love you." She hung up. Everyone was staring at her. I have no idea what was said, I only heard half of the conversation, but it didn't sound very good.

"Guys, I have to go back home. My manager, Susan, (AN~ In this story Susan is way older than them and is her manager. She's probably like 30-ish) has set up some sort of show and I have to go. It's not optional. It's for the day we get back from vacation, but I have to prepare. I guess you could all stay here and I can go back if you want. You'd still a day or two."

"If you leave, I'm gonna go too," I said, the vacation won't be as fun without her.

"I'm in, too! I want to see you perform!" Christina said. The rest of the gang agreed.

"Well then," Tris said smiling, "You better turn this boat around fast because our plane leaves in an hour and a half. We had better get moving because judging by the amount of stuff laying around our room Christina has a lot of packing to do"

I did three circles, just to mess with everyone, before turning around and heading back to the dock. So much for fishing. As soon as we got back Christina jumped out of the boat and ran inside.

I put the boat up and went inside to the guys' room. All I brought was a large backpack and half the stuff inside it didn't even get taken out. I threw my clothes, phone, laptop, shower and toothbrush stuff and a book into the bag. Then I washed the bathroom counter and sink and made Zeke and my bed. By the time I had finished all the guys were done too. Marlene and Tris had also finished packing their small duffel bags. Shauna was really close to being done. Tris and Marlene started helping Christina pack. In only 45 minutes we had managed to pack everything. In fifteen more, we had cleaned up the whole place so it shined. Then, the taxis we called earlier came and we all got in. We drove to the airport. Before I knew it, we were on the plane. I sat down next to Tris and she grabbed my hand. Deep breaths, I tell myself, I can do this.

Tris POV

Tobias looked really nervous. I held his hand like last time, but he still didn't calm down. I decided to do what I normally do when I'm nervous or scared. I pulled my phone out of my bag and grabbed my headphones. I plugged them into my phone and put one in my ear and the other in Tobias'. I opened Spotify and picked a playlist I thought he would like. We listened to Fall Out Boy, Panic at the Disco, Imagine Dragons, and many other artists. I watched him fall asleep, and I soon after I followed. Uriah woke us up a few minutes before we landed. Tobias squeezed my hand really tightly before we finally stopped and exited the plane.

We all got into Zeke's car and Will's car and drove to my house. We got out of the car and went inside. I went to talk to my mom, who was also with Susan, my manager, and the rest of the gang went to the basement to hang out and play games.

"So, in three days you are supposed to go back to school, correct?" Susan asked.

"Yes, unfortunately, many of my peers have already figured out who I am thanks to Peter spreading rumors all over the school."

"That's okay, we can find you a new school."

"NO!" I shouted, a bit too loudly, "I finally have wonderful friends and I would hate to leave them."

"Okay, I guess you can stay. You'll just have to hope the press doesn't get wind of this. I'll have to take you out if it gets too bad."

"Sure. I don't think it will though. This school is kinda in the middle of nowhere, so there's not many people coming here anyway."

"On to the next thing, remember those songs you wrote before taking a break?"

"Yeah. I liked those," I said. Those were my favorites by far.

"Well, as you probably also remember, I recorded them. I've published them and I think they are going to become a big hit! You might even go on tour!" Wow, I had no idea she published my songs. "We plan to start off having you sing them to a small audience, then, maybe, we'll set up a tour."

"Okay, I can do that. So I need to get ready for Friday?" I asked.

"Yes, your small show will be on Friday. By the way, it's at your school."

"What?" I wasn't expecting that.

"Sorry, I already arranged it. You'll do fine. Your friends can come backstage too."

"Sure. I'll do it, but now I have to go get ready. Can I stop by that small studio they have over here."

Susan smiled, "I was just about to tell you I scheduled some time for you to practice there from 3:00-4:00. You can bring three friends to watch you if you'd like."

"Great! Bye Susan!" I said, running off. I only have 15 minutes before I'm supposed to be at the studio. I think I'll take Tobias, Christina and Uriah with me.

Look at that! Two updates in two days! :-)

(Just for the record, I have NO idea how this whole music-y tour-y thing works. I could be doing this ALL wrong…)

What do you all think? How should the show go? Should Peter try to sabotage? Should he succeed? Should they go on tour? Should I narrate the next few days or just skip to the show?

Let me know in the reviews! (Or PM me)

R&R,
