Tris POV

I brought my phone with me so that I could go back downstairs and be with my mom but also be able to answer any questions and see who was coming. I really hope they can all come, it won't be as fun without them.

I found my mom still sitting at the table. She looked up jokingly and said, "I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that you've called your friends and they are asking their parents!"

"Yepperdoodles!" I said, happily. I'm fairly sure most of them will get permission to come, I honestly just think it's a matter of whether or not Tobias can.

I sat down across from my mom and took a sip of my delicious smoothie. Yeah, it's still the best recipe. My phone dinged in the middle of a long sip.

"Who do you think it is?" I asked.

"My money's on Uriah and Zeke," she said, smiling.

"I agree with that." I very dramatically picked my phone up and flipped it over! "High-Five!" I said. "We were right!" We high-fived and then I read the text out loud.

It was from Uriah on the group chat. "My mom say's we can go, as long as we are properly supervised," I had to take a break to laugh at that, "and keep up with all our schoolwork!"

Not long after, Shauna replied. She could go as long as all the teachers would approve and she could keep in contact with her parents. Marlene and Christina followed shortly after, with the same conditions. Will's parent, unsurprisingly, wanted him to finish his schoolwork before leaving and "absolutely no drugs or alcohol" or "smooching with that girl of yours."

Now all that was left was Tobias, and I'll admit I was very nervous. I know his dad is in town right now and-holy cranberries- his dad could be beating him! I really hope not, I'd feel so awful. I can't call him right now, I know that would just make this worse. I just have to wait it out. I started pacing around the room.

My very observant mother said, "Honey, you don't pace. What's wrong?"

"I'm just so excited! I also can't wait to go with all my friends. The only one that hasn't replied is Four, and I'm a little worried that his dad won't let him come."

"Sweetie, I'm sure he will," she said soothingly, "You'll have so much fun!"

Just then my phone rang. It was Tobias's special ringtone so I knew it was him.

"Hey!" I answered, "Are you okay?"

"Yeah Tris, I'm perfectly fine." He said.

"100% okay?"

"Tris. I'm fine. He said yes. I can go as long as my school work gets done and the house is clean. He's leaving for a business trip. He couldn't care less about his kid."

"Oh Four," I sighed. As tough as he tried to be, I could see right through him. I knew that the way his dad treated him hurt him. The line was silent for a few minutes.

"Well," I said, "you should probably text that you can go. Then you should pack."

"Okay, Marcus is leaving now so I should be good for a while." He sounded disappointed like he was expecting a different response. In fact, I knew he was, but I had a different plan.

I ran upstairs and packed all my stuff as quickly as possible. I got all my essentials, but I knew that Susan would have someone else pick out all my outfits. I have literally no fashion sense. I was in such a hurry that I know I probably forgot something. I quickly ran out the room and began to make preparations.

Time Skip, 30 minutes later!

I walked up his driveway. I looked around for signs of Marcus. He always leaves his car in the driveway so I'm fairly confident he's not here. Now for the hard part, Tobias' room is the 3rd story. Obviously, Marcus wants him out of his sight. That's just going to make it harder for me. I walked around to the back and looked at his window. There was a tree next to the window next to the one I know is his. That should make it easier. I began to climb the tree, remembering when he did this for me. I shifted the backpack on my back to make it easier.

I carefully climbed the tree. When I got to the top I carefully went out to the end of a sturdy branch and stood on the windowsill. I carefully crawled/walked across and approached his window. I could just barely see him laying on his bed, staring at the ceiling. I could see his suitcase all packed and ready to go on the floor. I knocked on the window. Then I backed up against the side so he couldn't see me. I heard him get up and walk over to the window, bring up the blinds. I held my breath. He didn't see me. I heard the blinds go back down and I looked around. Now he was sitting on his bed looking at his laptop. I pulled out the window chalk I had in my bag and grabbed a blue pen.

In block letters, I wrote, "Hello Four" with a little heart next to it. It took a bit longer, but only because I was writing backward so he would be able to easily read it when he got up. Then I knocked on the window again. I heard him groan as he got up. The blinds went up and he looked out. He read the writing and I heard the window open. He looked over and his face broke out into a grin.

"You are hilarious, Tris," he said sarcastically.

"Well, bye then! See you," I cheerily said as I turned around. I wanted to see what he would do.

"You didn't think I was going to let you vandalize my window and get away with it, did you?" Before I had time to react, he reached out and pulled me into his room.

"So," he said, "care to explain why you just showed up at my window with no warning."

"Well, you seemed a little bit sad on the phone so I thought I'd come cheer you up. I also realized that even though we have been dating for a while now we haven't really had any one on one time to get to know each other. We're almost always surrounded by our friends."

He thought about that for a moment, "That's true. They are pretty hard to get rid of, aren't they?" He became more serious, "I hadn't even thought about that. I guess it's pretty obvious that you're my first girlfriend." He looked sad and embarrassed.

"Toby, it's totally okay. We're going to make up for it now."

I grabbed his arm and pulled him up out of the bed, "I have a nice bag of fun things we can do to get to know each other better and have some fun! So, are you up for it?"

He smiled, and without a word stood up and started to get up. He started to walk through the door but then seemed to realize something and opened his mouth to speak.

"Wait! I know you did all this planning but do you think I could grab a few things too?" "Okay. I'm going to wait outside. By the way, we're going to be doing some walking!"

So, this chapter was pretty much in response to a review left by AnselElgortLover17. They said that they didn't want Tris to go on tour because they thought that Tris and Four's relationship should grow and develop more. They also think that she should stay with her friends. Well, as you probably noticed her friends are going with and the majority of the next chapter will be Four/Tris bonding!

So, what do you think they should do together? Leave me questions and games they could ask/play.
