i was going to start this off by apologizing for the inaccuracies of what i wrote in this chapter and how it mostly likely could never happen but then i stopped and remembered that there are fanfics of the animatronics getting pregnant and having dongs so i feel like less a scrub

If he had to guess, Mike would say he'd been walking around same block over and over again. The second he ventured out into the storm, he lost all sense and direction of where he was, and didn't know where he would begin to search for Bonnie. Who knows what that thing was thinking because it certainly didn't know it's way around a town it's never been in. The only source of light the security guard had were the street lamps that left illuminated soft yellow spots every few feet but it was useless for the only thing he saw was snow, snow and even more snow that blew in his face.

His eyes stung as he wiped the sleeve of his wet coat against them. "He could have e-escaped...in the summer...at le-least then I c-c-could have...felt my toes." Not to mention Mike didn't dress knowing he was going to be trudging through the storm. His sneakers and socks were soaked, he got snow down his back and in his gloves multiple times, and he was confident tonight he would die. How ironic. He was actually going to kill himself saving the things that were trying to kill him.

Mike glanced up through his swollen eyes and crossed his arms tightly across his chest. He recognized the street sign that was shaking in the wind above his head and decide to venture down that street, going in the shady part of the neighborhood. All the stores were closed and the streets were pitch black. He passed parking garages and back alley ways that belonged to run down businesses, expecting a hobo to appear out of nowhere to jump him. At least if they stabbed him he wouldn't feel anything because he was numb to the core.

The wind picked up and whisked past Mike, causing him to stumble forward a few feet and let out a gigantic sneeze. "Fuck," he coughed and accidentally stumbled into a row of metal trashcans, catching himself on the building before he fell into the pile of garbage that spilled out onto the filthy snow covered pavement.

"Oh my God," Mike drawled out a long groan and held himself against the freezing brick wall, catching his breath and steadying his erratic hear beat. "This is it. This is where it all ends."

Past the howls of the wind and the moaning of build boards and buildings, Mike's ears, as frostbitten as they were, picked up a strange sound coming from the alley way behind him. Glancing back, the hidden back way was dark and only led to fencing and a telephone poll among boxes and pails of garbage and junk, and some random tall shadow thing standing near the corner.

Mike froze and squinted his eyes.

"Bonnie?!" He shouted.

What looked like two tall ears perked up at the sound of Mike's call but didn't move otherwise.

"Bonnie, is that you?" Mike slowly but cautiously stepped forward into the darkness of the alleyway, fumbling to get his torch from his belt. As he shone the blinding light down the passage way and through the snow, he saw a frozen but definitely recognizable purple bunny standing by himself behind the stacks of wet cardboard boxes and rusted trashcans. He held both his paws over his muzzle as he stood facing the wall. The only thing that seemed to move was his ears, whether it was the wind or his joints, Mike wasn't sure.

He approached the animatronic and stood there for a few seconds, noticing the bunny hadn't moved an inch. "Bonnie? What the frickin' fuck do you think you're doing? I've been looking for you for hours and it's cold as hell out here! C'mon, I need to take you back before my shift ends."

Bonnie didn't move, however. He couldn't even speak. All that managed to escape was static and a series of malfunctioning beeps.

Mike shuffled around the robot's body and looked at his face, noticing how dim his eyes were and the worried looked they displayed. "...You can't talk, can you?"

Bonnie simply stared at Mike, still looking sad.

"Guess not..." Mike examined the body. "And...you're frozen stiff? Can't move anything?"

The two long ears twitched in reply. Not noticeably, though.

The sight in front of him reminded him too much of that scene from Wizard of Oz, where the Tin Man rusted over when it began to snow in the poppy field...not that he was using his knowledge on an old movie from the 1930's to help lead him in this dire situation, but that was Mike's only conclusion. The snow made Bonnie freeze and lock up so he can't move, and the only way to get him to move was to...warm him up again? (1)

Slapping himself on the side of the head, Mike growled and paced around a bit, trying to warm up his hands. Think, dammit, think. How the hell was he suppose to warm up this already cold piece of metal in the middle of a snow storm, with no source of heat and no one else to turn to?

"Uh," Mike turned to face Bonnie, "you wouldn't happen to have a...an oil can on you, huh?"

Bonnie's eyes shifted and squinted in confusion.

"Yeah, didn't think so." Mike turned away and stared out into the empty street. "Worth a shot."

Wasting another few minutes of thinking, Mike noticed the snow lighting up, and soon enough, it was just a few flurries that breezed by. The feeling started to come back to Mike's feet and hands, and while patting around his coat and jean pockets he pulled out a lighter and a huge stupid grin broke out on his face. It was small but if he was able to fine something dry to burn...

"Ugh, fuck." Mike hastily took off his coat that was lined with fur and threw it over the bunny's cold shoulders. "Here, make good use of it."

First, he found a few stray piece of scrap metal and shook the snow off. Then, he rummaged through the nearby dumpster and gathered all the dry wood and cardboad he could find. After trapping the edges of the metal underneath the lid of the dumpster and making a tiny roof over the dry spot of pavement, Mike arranged the thrown out objects into the proper tee pee shape that you would make in order to build a fire...of course, this isn't the best place or scenario to do it in, and Mike is lacking most knowledge and equipment, but damn, if you had a frozen animatronic you had to save before 6 six o'clock, you're pretty pressed for time and ideas.

"Looks stupid," Mike huffed, "but it will have to do." He looked over to Bonnie who, thanks to the little warmth of Mike's jacket, was able to turn his head, twitch his ear more and jerk around his main joints. "Bonnie...can you come over here?"

He was only a few steps away. Bonnie blinked slowly and turning his torso around first, lifting a stiff food off the snow covered ground with a loud crunch, and stepped forward. He then did the same with the other one until he began to numbly walk his way over to Mike and the weak fire he had made, looking more like a dumb robot with no intelligence than an animatronic with an AI.

The two crouched down by the warm fire, Mike eventually taking away the sheet metal when he noticed it had stopped flurrying completely. Over the next few minutes Bonnie had managed to thaw out just enough to start moving every inch of his body, though still very awkwardly. He also made an attempt to speak, but all that came out was static and interference, so Mike silenced him right away. When he noticed the time he got worried.

"We gotta get back before 6..it's 5:30 now. I don't wanna risk it."

Bonnie nodded his head and lifted himself up, clutching Mike's coat tightly around his shoulders. Luckily the security guard wasn't freezing thanks to the fire which he easily distinguished before leading Bonnie out of the alley way. "The pizzeria isn't that far away, trust me. We can make it."

The animatronic nodded and gently took Mike's hand as the two walked down the abandoned, white streets. Past the still raging winds that hit them, Mike picked up Bonnie's voice box through it all.

"Thank you, Mike."

Mike and Bonnie had been gone for most of the night shift. The second the guard left to find their friend in the blizzard, Freddy had stood by the lobby windows, anxiously waiting for their return. Chica had stood by his side at first but grew tired and left to rest on the stage by Freddy's persistence. Foxy also hesitantly made his way to Freddy's side, casually asking if Mike and Bonnie had returned yet. He stood and watched with his paws held behind his back and chin held high, but his expression said otherwise. He noticed the snow lighting up until it came to an easy stop. When he noticed it was approaching six, Freddy heaved a sigh and was going to retire for the night when he saw the faint shadows of two figures being illuminated by the street light. As they approached closer to the restaurant, the old bear was able to make out a shivering, hunched over Mike with his hand firmly grasped inside a stiffly waddling Bonnie, who looked exhausted.

The glow in Freddy's eyes brightened up. "They've returned!"

Chica's head perked up and her features beamed. "They're back?"

Foxy's head popped out from behind his curtains. "Really?"

Freddy immediately swung open the doors for their friends; Bonnie shuffling with his head hung low and Mike tracking in piles of snow, almost collapsing on the ground. "Thank God, thank God you're both alright! We've been worried sick!" With the help of Freddy and Chica, Mike was able to crawl his way over to the biggest radiator in the building, practically sprawling his whole body over it and too busy doing do to notice that Chica brought him over a steaming cup of hot chocolate. The bunny followed suit, giving Mike's jacket back in the process.

"Thank you." His voice box was back to normal and he was walking more fluidly but still deciding to sit next to the source of warmth for the building. Once they settled down, Freddy and Chica stood in front of their friend, upset.

"Bonnie," Chica spoke up first, "we were really worried about you...going out in the snow all alone, knowing you could lock up and freeze in the middle of nowhere. Were you thinking of the consequences?"

The bunny was obviously not in the mood to be scolded after the situation he just got out of. He bowed his head, his ears flopping over to express his true disappointment. Freddy sensed this, holding up his paw in front of Chica's chest to stop her. Instead, he got down on one knee and looked Bonnie in his softly glowing eyes.

"We know all about the situation, Bonnie. What you saw, what you felt and how Foxy messed with your head. We still wished you came to speak for us, instead of following the mindless suggestion of that old rusty pile of crap."

There was a mix of grumbling and growling sounding from the back, but Freddy continued.

"Don't ever think we're singling you out. If something is wrong you can come to me, Chica or even Mike...but not Foxy. Ever."

The bear attitude towards the fox made Bonnie chuckle to himself, glancing around the floor, not comfortable enough to look either animatronics in the eye. "I'm sorry...I made you all sad. I didn't mean to. I didn't think you'd guys really care, but I guess I was wrong."

Freddy frowned. "It's alright, but I think one more robot has to apologize. Foxy?"

The pirate's accent was barely heard when he lazily called from his Cove. "Uh...ye?"

"Come out."

Dragging out an exaggerated sighing sound, the dreary fox reluctantly pulled himself from behind the curtain, limping over to the group without looking at any of them in the face.

"What do you have to say to Bonnie?"

Foxy rolled his eyes and he casually scratched his stomach. "Ayy, eh...am uh...sorry for what I said earlier. 'Tis wrong o' me to, uh...have said that, 'n stuff."

Everyone remained silent.

"Whatever, that's the most we'll get out of him." Freddy tossed his paw in the air to dismiss the fox, who scurried back to the sanctuary of his Cove after Bonnie accepted his apology.

Mike hadn't said a word through the whole confrontation, his head leaning against the wall with his mouth hanging open as he watched the animatronics interact. After they shared their apology and hugs (Chica tapping Bonnie's muzzle with the tip of her beak...I guess that was a kiss?), Mike shifted around and moistened his mouth to gain their attention.

"Well then...it's five minutes to six. I have completely thawed out. I have to go back in the freezing cold. You're all safe and sound...I guess this is a happy ending?"

The three robots exchanged glances, processing that information. "Yeah, sure."

Mike groaned, rubbing his tired eyes. "I'll bring some weed tomorrow."

(1) like i said above, none of that probably made any sense. i've never been lost on the snow with an animatronic so lets pretend this is accurate

LMAO WEAK ASS ENDING BY A WEAK ASS PERSON im sorry i didnt have a thrilling ending planned out and i turned out pretty sappy and more cornier than i anticipated...¯\_()_/¯ I just wanted this chapter out of the way so I could continue on with more oneshots...stay tuned, kiddies
