Blended Chapter 11
Guest: Yes Cort will find out soon and I can imagine the drama that will ensue. She will most likely blame Jax but will also let the club feel her wrath.
TeamEveryoneButEdward: You know I am team Gemma….we shall see what role she plays with Cort and Steven.
Woods-Winschester: Cort really does not know now and she is happy where she is at. Trust me when she finds out WW3 will most likely be skipped and WW4 will happen.
HGRHfan35: We know how men are….Jax just wants to be happy as long as he can. It seems now he is more concern with his club as he knows Steven and Joseph are perfect candidates for the club and not really about Cortney and her feelings.
0netfixme0: I agree Cortney will be showing out once she finds out.
Guest: Cortney will be finding out soon…stay tuned.
NatlieLynn: I feel Steven loves and is also afraid (a healthy fear) of his mom. He does not want to hurt her but yet he is an adult now and can do what he wants. People hide all kinds of aspects from their lives from their love ones and this is one of those cases. Eventually Steven will man up and maybe tell her but we shall see. He may be 18 but he is still in a sense just a kid. As we know boys/men's brains do not fully develop until age 25 so Steven is still young and wants his moms approval but at the same time wants the club's approval.
"Jax your mom said I can come to you whenever I need help." Mrs. Hopkins told Jax. Jax got up from the picnic table they were hanging out at outside the clubhouse.
"What's going on Mrs. Hopkins?" he asked as he put his arm around the elderly woman's shoulder.
"Some men came into my boutique earlier threatening me if I don't sale the shop. I know this is Mayor Hale. He almost brought out all the shops on Liberty Street. Me and Lumpy's gym are the only few businesses left. He must be getting desperate to have some thugs come and threaten an old lady like me. I'm afraid they may come back and do something to the shop and me as you know I live above the shop. I have had my shop for the past fifty years and I'm not going anywhere."
"Mrs. Hopkins we got you. I will send a couple of guys to sit there tonight and tomorrow night to make sure they don't come back. We will work out a schedule for someone to be at the shop until I can get to the bottom of this." Jax told Mrs. Hopkins. She sighed with relief.
"Thank you Jax."
"Anytime Mrs. Hopkins."
As Mrs. Hopkins left Jax looked over at Steven and Joseph.
"Call your parents and tell them you aren't coming to town this weekend and find out where they will be later. I want you two to keep out of sight so they won't see you on your bikes. I need you at Mrs. Hopkins shop tonight to keep watch."
"You boys are so nice to do this for me." Mrs. Hopkins told Steven and Joseph as she handed them glasses of lemonade and cake.
"No problem Mrs. Hopkins. We will watch the place so nothing will happen."
"I have these two twin blow up beds for you boys. I didn't want you to have to sleep on the hard floor." She said pointing to the airbeds laying in front of the store.
"Thanks Mrs. Hopkins. We are going to pull them back behind these clothes racks. We don't want to be sitting ducks just in case someone does come." Steven told her.
Mrs. Hopkins nodded. "Ok. Goodnight and I will see you in the morning."
"Goodnight." Joseph and Steven said in unison.
"We can do three hour shifts. I will take the first shift and wake you up when it's your turn." Steven told Joseph.
"That's fine."
Steven sat up in the airbed and kept a look out from behind the racks of clothes. When he started to get sleepy, he pulled out his iPhone and searched the net to keep him awake. The street was nearly empty at night as it was basically a ghost town with the only few businesses left on the street closed for the night.
Just as he was about to wake Joseph for his shift, he saw two dark figures approaching the boutique.
"Joseph wake up." He whispered waking Joseph just before one of the figures threw a brick through the front window. Joseph and Steven crawled on the floor not wanting to be seen until they could have the element of surprise on the two men who began trashing the front of the store with baseball bats. With the men's back turned to them, Steven and Joseph stood up, cut on the lights and drew their guns.
"You need to get the fuck out of here!" Steven yelled at the men. The men turned around to face Steven and Joseph. They were shock anyone was at the place. Steven eyed them both and saw they were covered in Aryan tattoos. Once the two men saw how young the prospects were they laughed.
"You're just kids. What the fuck you going to do with them guns?" one of them growled at them. Steven aimed the gun higher to his head and cocked it back ready to fire.
"You want to find out?" he said coldly.
The two men put down the bats and put their hands up. "Why don't yall put down the guns and we can settle this like men. We aren't strap." One of them said.
"Turn around." Joseph ordered. Both men turn around to show they had no weapons. After seeing the men were not strapped Joseph and Steven put their guns on the jewelry counter and charged at the men. They were ready for the boys as they got the first punch in the face that sent them reeling back. Steven spit the blood that pooled in his mouth on the floor. He was pissed. They would not get the jump on him again. Steven and Joseph went back in and got a few punches in before they all went crashing on the floor laying punches on each other. Remembering the moves Happy taught them they were able to get on top of the men and throw punches to their faces not letting up. Once Joseph successfully knocked out his guy he got up to find Steven still punching his adversary who was already knocked unconscious.
"Steven! Dude! Stop! He's already out!" Joseph yelled to him. Steven did not let up. Joseph grabbed him and pulled him off.
"You gonna kill him!" Joseph shouted pushing him further away from the man's unconscious body. Joseph looked at his best friend and Joseph did not recognize the emotion in Steven's eyes. He had never seen Steven look like that before and it scared Joseph. Steven spit in the unconscious man's face. Joseph shook his head and called Jax.
"Jax. You guys need to get here now. We got two Aryans here and you need to get here before they wake up." Joseph relayed to Jax on the phone.
"We're on the way. Where's Mrs. Hopkins?"
"She hasn't come down stairs. Looks like she slept through it. You need to get here Jax. I'm worried about Steven." He whispered the last in the phone as he watch Steven pace back and forth in rage. Jax snapped the phone shut and round up a few of the guys and headed to Liberty street.
"Calm down Steven. It's over." Jax was taken back by the rage that was in Steven's eyes. It was as if he was looking into a mirror. Steven tried to regulate his breathing as he watch Happy, Chibs and Rat Boy grab the unconscious men and put them in the van.
"Go turn your bikes in at the garage and head straight back to your apartment." Jax told them as both of their faces were bleeding from various places. Not saying a word Steven pulled his bike keys out of his pocket and headed to where he was parked.
"I've never seen him like this?" Joseph told Jax. Jax patted Joseph on the shoulder.
"He's going to be alright. He just got caught in the moment. It happens. You guys did good here. I'm proud of you."
Joseph nodded and headed to his bike. Steven had already took off leaving Joseph behind.
Jax sighed as he looked at the mess and blood on the floor. He had to go let Mrs. Hopkins know what happen. He headed upstairs to her living area to tell her about the damage as Rat Boy pulled cleaning supplies out the van to clean up the blood off the floor. Mrs. Hopkins would have to sell it as vandalism to the cops. It shouldn't be too hard once evidence of blood was gone.
"You alright?" Joseph asked Steven as they drove home in Steven's car.
"Yeah I'm fine." Steven lied. He didn't know he could feel such rage as he was punching the man. He just could not stop. It was if he would not be satisfied until the man was in a bloody pulp or worse dead. The feeling scared Steven and he prayed he would never feel that intense rage ever again.
