They had asked him to go, but he politely declined. So Chica, Freddy and Foxy escorted each other out for the night while Bonnie looked over the restaurant until Mike showed up for his shift. The guard appeared peppier than usual, giving a simple wave towards the guitarist before Bonnie's mouth twitched in a weak smile and slipped into the back, leaving Mike baffled. When the other three came home not much later, Mike said his goodnights to Freddy and Foxy while he curtly took Chica to the side to muttered something into her ear.
"I dunno what it is, but something is up with Bonnie, just to let ya know."
Alarmed, Chica quickly thanked Mike and scurried off to the back. She poked her head in and saw the only light was coming from Freddy's door which was left open a crack. Determining from the open curtain and the sound of water running, Foxy was in the bathroom. Finally, her eyes fell on the motionless lump on the top bunk, back facing her. Since he wasn't making that soft whistling sound through his nose like he does when he's sleeping, she knew Bonnie was awake but thought he was slick enough to pretend he was.
Chica finally slipped in and made sure to make noise while closing the door behind her. She casually began to remove her earrings, bracelets and makeup while switching from her evening outfit to her tank top and shorts, Bonnie not making a move the whole process. At last, once she got comfortable, Chica stepped up on the edge of her bed and gripped on to the side railings of Bonnie's bunk, giving him a gentle push in the shoulder.
"Baby?" Her voice was barely a whisper. "Bon, are you feeling okay?"
Bonnie's shoulders shuddered from inhaling, so she leaned in a little closer to comb his hair out of his face and around his ear. "Do you want to talk?"
After a few seconds, Bonnie shook his head and she was just able to hear his small voice. "Not really…"
Chica remained still and silently looked on at Bonnie as he shifted in his position on the bed. She bit her lip and leaned in close to his ear.
"How about we watch that new documentary on that musician guy you like…I heard it got four stars." She refrained from smiling when Bonnie began to turn over and search her face for a minute. He swallowed hard and simply nodded his head before Chica clutched his hand and helped him sit up. He climbed down the later, rubbed his eyes from the sudden light coming from the television and cuddled up right next to Chica where he eventually drifted off to sleep.
