I hope you all enjoyed the last chapter!

~Falling Apart~

Riku watched as the lords left the house, the other servants attending to their many tasks. As soon as the lords were away from the manor, and Leon was off doing another important task outside of the manor, Riku moved towards the upstairs. He walked to Sora's studio, knowing the brunette was in there.

He knocked quietly before entering, smiling as Sora turned his attention to the door. The brunette smiled back, but he looked rather tired, and Riku frowned. Xehanort and his sons had been having their way with the brat nearly every day, and it looked like it was wearing the boy down. Riku moved forward and sat down on the ground, intent on talking with the brunette.

Sora hesitantly sat next to him, wanting to talk as well, but feeling the need to practice. The lords would be out for a while, so he had time to practice later. Sora smiled nervously at Riku, still not comfortable with the boy's presence but also trusting him.

"So what now?" Sora asked.

Riku smiled. "First off, I got into contact with Vanitas, they'll be breaking us out of here soon."

Sora's eyes widened. "But-"

"Don't worry. You'll be safe soon," Riku promised.

"Riku-" Sora began again.

Riku smiled gently. "Trust me."

Sora nodded weakly, trusting the boy, but at the same time he knew he could never truly be free. It wasn't going to be that easy to rescue him from this hell hole. The two talked for hours later on, discussing little things, until Riku had to leave so as not to get caught. Sora smiled for once as he practiced once more, not fearing his lord's return.

~Roxas~

Roxas watched the manor carefully as the sun began to set, the lords leaving their house for some event. As soon as the carriage was out of sight he sprinted across the street to the manor. Sneaking along the back to get to the servants entrance he looked around, he didn't need to be caught. He had decided that he'd help Riku get Sora out now, instead of involving the others.

He moved quietly across the grass, heading for the servant's entrance. As he quietly entered he began moving towards the upstairs, keeping an eye out for any of the servants. Roxas smirked before hurrying up the stairs, intent on finding Riku and Sora. Vanitas had mentioned to their father that Riku spent most of his free time when the lords were away to comfort Sora. The boy would probably be with Sora again.

Roxas looked around the top floor, trying to figure out which room was Sora's. Quiet whispering from his right told him all he needed to know. He moved to the door, opening it quietly, or he had hoped to. As he entered Riku leapt up ready to defend himself and Sora, while the brunette looked terrified.

As Riku recognized Roxas he began to relax but was still tense, his eyes wide. Sora blinked before looking at the blonde, his eyes showing fear. The blonde smiled reassuringly to the both of them.

"We're getting out of here."

Riku watched Roxas. "It's not time yet."

"The lords are gone, now is the perfect time."

"Did Zack put you up to this?" Riku demanded.

Roxas shook his head. "They don't know I'm here."

"You need to leave now."

Roxas shook his head. "I can help!"

"Roxas, we shouldn't deviate from the plan."
Roxas glared. "Why won't you let me help? I busted in here to save you both."

"Roxas," Riku growled.

"Why don't we go now while we have a chance?"

"Because something doesn't feel right, it's not the time. Besides you don't have a key to the city, with the others leaving the city is locked down. I don't have one either so we have to wait."

Roxas glared. "What do you mean it's not the time? Those stupid lords are gone and besides we do have a key. Sora's pendant is the key given to mom, it'll get us in!"

"Is that so?" A sultry voice asked from the doorway.

Riku froze as he just now realized the figure in the door way, Ansem staring at the three boys intently. Roxas jolted around, surprised at the man's sudden appearance. Sora had moved back from the two boys, terror filling his eyes as he began to shake. Ansem stepped into the room and the boys moved back, not sure what to do.

Riku growled before jumping at the man, catching him by surprise. He slammed the man into the wall stunning him slightly. Roxas quickly grabbed Sora pulling the youngest from the room, Riku following after. Sora struggled against the grasp on his wrist, terrified of being caught by the other lords.

As they got onto the ground floor Roxas began heading for the main entrance, intent on just getting out of there. Something caught his leg and he fell, Sora being ripped from his grasp by whoever attacked him. Riku growled at whoever had the brunette, as footsteps descended the stairs, signaling Ansem's return.

Xemnas held Sora close not planning to let him go ever. Sora's eyes were wide as he was held tightly to the man, his mouth covered so he couldn't speak. Xehanort appeared from the darkness as well, smirking down at Roxas and Riku.

"Did you really think we were so blind?"

Riku growled. "How did you know?"

"Well let's see our little pet started acting differently after you arrived. Also you may think you were staying hidden when sneaking around, but you couldn't be further from the truth."

Ansem smirked. "Also that red-haired guard, Axel or whatever, he was acting to suspicious. We knew he was up to something."

"Did you think we hadn't noticed your little friend sneaking around every few days? We used his appearance to attempt to follow him to the city but he always escaped," Xemnas added.

"Let Sora go!" Roxas shouted, angry and feeling guilty, this was all his fault.

"You're not exactly in the position to make demands are you?" Ansem asked as he watched the two little rats.

Xehanort watched them with a smirk. "You two will be taken to the dungeons, and don't worry Sora will be well taken care of."

"Just let him go!" Riku shouted at the lords.

Xehanort laughed. "He's my pet. But if you behave I may consider it."

"You wouldn't hold to any promises you made," Roxas spat out.

Ansem grabbed Riku as Xemnas passed Sora over to Xehanort, before the younger brother took hold of Roxas. The lords led the two boys out of the house, heading for the prison separately as Xehanort pulled Sora behind him, planning to take the boy to the prison as well, but keep him separate from the others. Rats would soon infiltrate his house if what those two had was correct, Sora was an important piece to luring them out.

Xehanort shoved Sora into the carriage before climbing in. Sora watched him nervously, scared and not sure what to do. Xehanort reached forward and grabbed the chain around Sora's neck and unlatching it, bring the necklace towards him as he looked over it. They had the first piece, the key to the city, now they just needed the entrance.

"You've done well luring in the rats." Xehanort watched the boy as the brunette continued to look away.

Xehanort smirked before looking outside the wagon, preferring to leave the boy to his thoughts. Soon he would have their entire race wiped out. He could feel victory in his grasp, soon he will have dealt with the problem. Then he can fully enjoy breaking the brunette to the point where he would be a useless doll, and once Xehanort had his fill, he would no longer need the boy.
