Months later, we had all been forced out of the house by our parents. They said fresh air would do us some good, so they made us go to the outdoor market in town.

The trip consisted of mom shoving fruits and vegetables in my face. Since we had lost the vampires, I'd lost my appetite and about twenty five pounds. My parents were convinced that I had an eating disorder, but I just couldn't bring myself to eat much. It made me sick.

I sat down with my siblings on a wall across from a house that had moving trucks in front of it. A family was bringing suitcases into the house. There was a young boy and girl pulling their suitcases up the walk way.

Kayla cleared her throat. "It is just me or do they look exactly like-"

"Rudolph! Anna! It's us! Remember? It's me, Tony!" Tony yelled, jumping off the wall.

The kids looked at him for a moment, and then Rudolph (I was also thoroughly convinced it was them) pulled Anna away.

Tears filled Tony's eyes and I got off the wall too.

"I'm sorry, little man. It sucks." I said while hugging him.

But Tony wasn't listening. Instead, he stared after them and a moment later, he whistled.

I was confused, but Kayla jumped down and stood next to us to get a better look, so I figured it must be important.

The kids stopped and looked around slowly.

Smiles spread across their faces and they ran to meet us. Rudolph hugged first Tony, then me, then Kayla, very tightly. He held on to my sister for the longest and soon she was sobbing, clinging to him and he was stroking her hair and whispering in her ear.

Anna and Tony began to chase one another.

I looked around. I saw Freda and Fredrick wave to my parents. But where was Gregory?

I felt a light tap on my shoulder and found him grinning at me, dressed in a Metallica t-shirt and jeans. His dark brown hair was a bit shaggy and he flipped it out of his eyes.

"Miss me?" he asked.

I was pulled into a bone crushing hug. "You little shit." I whispered in his ear.

"-Love you."

"What?" I asked.

"That's what I was going to say before we… left, for lack of a better word. I love you."

A huge smile spread across my face. "And I love you." I countered.

"Good." He said, pressing his lips to mine.

My parents moved over to Fredrick and Freda.

"Why don't you come over for dinner tonight?" my mom said after a couple of minutes.

"We'd like that. We'd like that very much." Freda said with a warm smile.

KAYLA POV

We were out at the market. Mom insisted it would be good for us, seeing as none of us had really left the house in four months.

We weren't doing too well. Tony rarely talked and Alyssa almost never ate. I slept all day and the time I spent awake was mostly spent crying. Productive, I know.

I saw mom shoving fruits and vegetables into Alyssa's face and her wrinkling her nose. I must admit, I was worried about her. She'd lost more than twenty pounds in the last couple months.

We all sat down with my siblings on a wall across from a house that had moving trucks in front of it. A family was bringing suitcases into the house. There was a young boy and girl pulling their suitcases up the walk way.

I looked at the kids for a while. The boy looked my age, and the girl looked around Tony's… and they looked so familiar…

I cleared my throat. "It is just me or do they look exactly like-"

"Rudolph! Anna! It's us! Remember? It's me, Tony!" Tony yelled, jumping off the wall.

"Thought so." I muttered to myself.

The kids looked at him for a moment, and then Rudolph pulled Anna away.

Tears filled Tony's eyes and Alyssa got off the wall too.

"I'm sorry, little man. It sucks." she said while hugging him.

But Tony wasn't listening. Instead, he stared after them and a moment later, he whistled.

I jumped down and stood next to Tony and Alyssa to get a better look.

The kids stopped and looked around slowly.

Smiles spread across their faces and they ran to meet us. Rudolph hugged first Tony, then Alyssa, then me, very tightly.

He held on to me for a long time and soon I was sobbing, clinging to him and he was stroking my hair and whispering in my ear.

"Kayla, what's wrong? We're back and we're not leaving again. Please don't cry, love. Shhh. I promise I'm going to stay." He murmured.

"I missed you guys so much." I choked out.

"We're here now, it's okay, shh, I've got you."

When I calmed down enough, I wiped my eyes and I saw Freda and Fredrick wave to my parents.

I saw that Gregory and Alyssa were standing hand in hand.

I looked at him.

"Wow, you're still scary."

He rolled his eyes. "Nice to see you again too, Kayla."

I grinned and slowly a smile spread across his face.

I hugged him lightly, but in return I got a bone crushing hug.

"You didn't think you were going to get it that easy, did you little girl?" he said.

"I hoped I would." I squeaked.

He chuckled and let go.

Anna and Tony came back from chasing one another.

My parents moved over to Fredrick and Freda.

"Why don't you come over for dinner tonight?" my mom said after a couple of minutes.

"We'd like that. We'd like that very much." Freda said with a warm smile.

That night we were all a sat around the table. It was weird, because even though the Sackville-Baggs looked like a normal family, they were still stuck in the 1800s.

My mother was explaining the current technology to Freda; she had her iPhone out and was trying to explain the concept of it to Freda and Fredrick.

"So you can talk to anyone with this? And you don't have to be in the same place as them?" Freda asked.

"Anyone who also has one."

"I must get one of these…"

"Cell phones."

"Yes. A cell phone."

I rolled my eyes at Kayla and looked at the vampire kids. We were all finished, so we excused ourselves and went upstairs.

Anna and Tony went to his room and the rest of us went to mine.

"What are these?" Gregory asked pointing at my bookshelf.

"Books...?" I trailed off uncertainly. "Is this a trick question?"

"No, not the books." He picked up one of my many CD cases. "These."

"Those are CDs." Kayla said from my bed.

Rudolph got up for next to her and walked over to his brother. "What do they do?"

"They, um, have music on them?" I said.

"What?"

Kayla laughed quietly. "Here, give it to me." she held her hand out for it and when Gregory gave it to her, she put it in my sound system and hit play.

Ed Sheeran's A Team played through the speakers.

The former-vampire kids' eyes widened. We ended up listening to the whole CD in silence, them looking at each other wide eyed and skipping tracks and pausing and playing.

"Adorable." I said.

Kayla nodded. "They're just like little kids."

When the CD ended, Rudolph and Gregory looked at us.

"I liked that a lot. What was it?" Rudolph said.

"Ed Sheeran." I said.

"I want an Ed Sheeran." Rudolph said turning to Gregory.

I snorted. "Don't we all?"

"No, Rudolph, Ed Sheeran is the person who sang."

"Oh. I like him."

"Not really my type of… yeah." Gregory said.

"Oh? Okay… try this." I sat in front of my CD case. I looked at it for a moment and held up a CD to him. It was Blink-182 Take off Your Pants and Jacket.

He looked at the cover and kind of shrugged, walking over the player. He put it in and Kayla pressed play.

I Miss You began playing and he sat next to me, listening.

"You're right; I do like it." He said, kissing me on the side of the head and wrapping his arm around me.

"Ew, gross." Kayla said from across the room.

"Shut up and go hug your boyfriend." I said to her.

"He's not my boyfriend!" Kayla exclaimed at the exact moment Rudolph cried out, "She's not my girlfriend!"

I shrugged. "Yeah, give it a couple years. You'll see."

Gregory nodded. "Yeah, I could see that."

Rudolph glared and Kayla blushed. "Shut up, losers."

Gregory gasped. "Your words wound me deeply."

"Yeah, well, get your girlfriend to kiss it better." Rudolph taunted.

"Nice!" Kayla said, giving him a high-five.

Gregory rolled his eyes. "Fine, I will."

He turned his face to me and leaned down to kiss me on the lips.

"Ew, gross you guys!" Kayla whined.

I rolled my eyes. "Shut up, you're like twelve."

"Fifteen!"

"Same thing."
