We spent our Sunrises together

By our Spring we took in the day

Ad recanted to each other the dreams

Of the night before as we took tea

All the while I'd stare at the glistening

That came from the pool and thought

How nice these Sunrises were

By Midday we were at our work

Taking to our Garden the tomes we read

To enjoy fresh air and the passing

Of every creature that gave us inspiration

All the while I listened to the buzzing

Of nature's course and thought

How much the Midday made her glow

In Evenings we would often travel

Along the banks of the Lake and go

To any small town where adventure waits

Food came fresh and hot, and sometimes dinner

Ended with us dancing till our feet turned lead

All the while I'd hold her fast and close

And keep her through those dances as I thought

How Evenings always brought out her joy.

When Midnight struck we'd return

To our small home in Mountain's shadow

And as he day would finally end

We would take to our bed and find

Each other's arms, and then find peace

All the while I'd let my senses go

And let myself fall into her being

Giving blessed Midnight my gratitude
