Hey guys, I managed to get to this chapter in my editing and I hope you agree that's it's a little better than it was! Because I spent the whole day with this and haven't done any revision yet… Whoops! This chapter was as hard to write this time as the first so I may end up completely rewriting it as I just don't feel like it's right. Anyway, I might try to reread 'Proving to Bella' and see if it's actually worth saving and continuing, maybe starting again from scratch or completely scraping it, I am not sure yet, please let me know what you think.

Hope you enjoy this chapter and as ever, please review c:

"But Rosie" I begged, dragging the 'e' out as I whined but Rosalie still refused to look at me, turning her head and whole body away from me when I tried to explain It was hopeless, she wasn't going to be talking to me anytime soon, she made that very clear when we got home yesterday and she had locked our bedroom door in front of me. Sure, I could get in if I wanted to but in our relationship I prided myself on valuing Rosalie's space and respecting her wishes, especially after what those monsters did to her and I would not force my company on her if she didn't want me.

I wasn't well-spoken in the way Carlisle and Edward were, they could profess their love in a way that sounded romantic and sincere, I preferred action, I needed to show Rosalie how sorry I was that I had upset her, so she could let me explain properly and she would realise that it was all a big mistake.

Bella's POV

"Actually I think I'd prefer the red pair" Rosalie informed Emmett with a grin, sticking out her leg and turning it in front of the mirror. Alice nodded, happily agreeing with her sister "definitely the red, don't you think Bella?" trying to include me in Emmett's torment, the pixie was clear in her thoughts that Emmett deserved this punishment after leaving me alone with the baby all night to go see Rosalie whilst she was hunting. I looked up guilty at Emmett from my seat, feeling bad for him; he had been at their beck and call since Rosalie thought of his punishment that morning. Since then he had been running up and down trying to find whatever item that Rosalie wished to try on from her extensive wardrobe. "Yeah, red sounds good" I mumbled half-heartedly as Rosalie smiled encouragingly.

"Are you hungry, Bella?" Edward said as he strolled into the room, sitting down beside me warily, he knew I was still upset about what he put in the note to Rosalie and opened his arms in question, his eyes sad until I leaned into them "Oh no, let me get that" Rosalie smiled innocently before turning her head to shout out the door "Oh Emmett!" Emmett ran up the stairs and skidded a halt in front of Rose "Yes, oh love of my life" he bowed exaggeratedly to her, she rolled her eyes in return "What would you like Bella?" She said, smiling sweetly at me. "Don't worry about it, I'm not hungry anyway" I assured her, not wanting to have to see Emmett run round the house again and mess around with food that he found repulsive.

I wasn't very happy with Edward but not upset enough to want him to be on the receiving end of Rosalie's wrath; I cuddled closer into his chest as Rosalie repeated her question "Don't worry, Emmett would be happy to get you whatever you want, full English breakfast?" I hesitated before nodding, watching sadly as Emmett left.

When he came back, he presented me with a stacked plate with an excited smile but it fell slightly when he took in my expression, "what?" he asked confused. Bella pushed the plate away, looking at it with dismay but not wanting to hurt his feelings. The crispy, dry bacon, hard eggs and burnt toast did not look appetising and there was no way she was going to eat it, no matter how bad she felt for him. "I'll get you something else" Edward laughed, narrowly dodging the punch Emmett threw at him as he walked out of the door.

"Emmett!" A voice cried from upstairs, Emmett sighed dejectedly and raced out of the room. I sighed as I found myself alone, how this had all started with a simple idea of payback. Emmett better have a good plan and I would make sure that Edward helped him pull it off. Speaking of the devil, he walked in with a plate and I tucked into my second breakfast eagerly as another "Emmett" shook the ceiling.
