I feel horrible.
I've been praying to St. Anthony of Padua for days— I still can't find Marika.

But I must go on with my stories, even if all the chapters and summaries and all my plans are inside that tiny 8 GB flashdrive. TuT

Disclaimer: Kyogiaiko Nayujin is Jer-bear's property and Sokudone is mine. The rest belongs to the Level-5 folks. :3

3: The Plan

Simple and elaborate. Something she couldn't do.

A ninja always thinks 200 steps after the first move has been made (A/N: Hi Shikamaru. :D). Another 200 more after, just in case of emergencies. Remember, the Megamino clan was one of the many ninja clans that had been wiped out. They had quite fetching violet eyes; very good for business down in the black market.

Maybe her critical thinking trait died along with her family.

"Give up already, geez," Kyogiaiko Nayujin offered much too willingly as she slurped Frappe. Her short-statured best friend had crashed at the Endou house again in the hopes of gaining any bit of help from – idiotically – someone who was against her plans in the first place. Megamino Sokudone slammed her palms on the desk where Nayujin's legs crossed. "I most certainly will not!" She pouted at her. "It's been two weeks and four days; you haven't even thought of anything," The ex-Aliea student answered. "Let nature take its course, as an earth saying goes— which is exactly what Midorikawa would tell you if he was here."

Sigh. Alien besties and their very good points.

Actually, it had been exactly three weeks since Kazemaru's bargain. Three days after the identical cousins' agreement Natsumi announced formal invites to the foreign FFI teams – without the knowledge of the soccer team (A/N: Done knew because she's the Teikoku counterpart of Natsumi. :)) ). And that small breeze was what exactly blew away Sokudone's 'carefully' thought-of plan.

"Take it back, you sly creature!"

"Excuse me?" Natsumi glared at the owner of the voice.

"How dare you ruin my matchmaking plans— just what were you thinking about inviting foreigners to a Teikoku-Raimon-exclusive event?" Sokudone returned the glare as she sat on the chair across Natsumi's. "The presence of ulterior motives is always so clear when you're involved," The black-haired girl continued as Natsumi's laptop remained ignored. "The only problem is that I don't know what they are. So spit it out, Princess Peach!" Natsumi laughed a small but indignant laugh. "The name calling wasn't really necessary."

"Answer the question."

"It's to enrich camaraderie among countries, Sokudone. It's about time we expand our bonds, don't you think?" The brunette answered as she resumed typing Kami-knows-what in the black laptop. Strangely, the shorter girl of the two merely smiled with a hint of amusement. Natsumi raised a brow in question. "What? It's your turn to answer the question; I've done your bidding."

"Enrich camaraderie my face, Raimon," Now the talker was cackling in her place. "If you wanted Rococo to come all you had to say was please!"

And then she got kicked out.

"Yandere's gotta yandere," Sokudone grinned again as she took the long walk home. As she took a left, the direction leading to Sherry's, which was the only reason why the walk was long in the first place, a ghost bumped into her. (A/N: Stoopid. Ghosts are gaseous thingies.)

Sokudone screamed.

"Haven't you ever seen a human in your life before? Retarded creature…" The girl with a kept silver parasol and shoeless feet muttered, albeit she lent a helping hand to Sokudone. The latter took it, and to both their surprise, their skin color matched. "That's weird," The girl said again, still examining Sokudone's skin. Meanwhile, the wannabe-matchmaker's eyes were shut tight. "Please don't eat me; I have so much to live foooor," She whimpered.

The mysterious girl scoffed. "I am not a vampire, you hypocrite. Watch it."

Sokudone opened her eyes. "Hey, I'm sorry. I was just kidding. It's rare to see someone pale like me too, you know," She said as she held out her hand. "Name's Megamino Sokudone. I hope I haven't offended you too much." Out came a toothy smile as well. The girl with knee-length silver hair took it with a smirk. "Karai Rein."

"So do you know where the airport is? Cause I gotta pick up a friend right now," Karai said uneasily as she ogled at the sight of Sokudone practically worshipping her Strawberry Madness sundae. "Oh, psh. What's a little while going to take? Come on; eat a little, Karai-san! Peace offering." Sokudone reasoned out with a peace sign. 'Well at least she's courteous enough to apologize and introduce herself,' Karai thought indecisively. 'What the heck. A little while with ice cream won't hurt.' And she dug in.

As soon as she walked Karai to the airport, Sokudone decided on going home. The new girl was cool, honestly. She could speak and understand conversational English, and the girl played soccer and did archery too! When the day comes, Megane will regret he ever lived; bows might be good pairs to butcher knives. Hm.

"Don't come near me! Stop! Hey!"

"Whaaa…?" Sokudone decided to see what was happening as soon as she reached her neighborhood. Nobody seemed to be leaving their houses; it probably wasn't something so important after all. But the blackette heard yelling again. "Away, creature!"

"Wiruyam?" (A/N: I'm pretty sure that's how you'd say it in a Japanese accent. :D)

"This is your…dog?" The panicky brunette demanded as soon as Sokudone found the source of the squealing and screeching. The former's brown hair reached up to her waist, which was apparently what peaked the small hound's interest. "Well, yeah…"

"Well, get him away then!"

"Why?"

"Oh, I don't know, because he's preventing me from crossing!"

"He's barely two feet tall…maybe like one and a half rulers?" The shorter girl answered as she watched the other stand on her toes on top of a used box. The brunette was pretty entertaining to watch. "I don't care; I'm late," She hissed at the small Basset. "Move back, mongrel!"

Sokudone laughed to her heart's content and picked up her lemon-fur pet. "Don't worry, I'll let you chew on Ichi-kun's hair when he gets home," She purred to the puppy. "And you can get off now." She added with a laugh.

The brunette scoffed and glared at Sokudone, who was looking back with amusement.

…Violet eyes…

Violet eyes!

"Whoa!" The two girls pointed at each other as if to joust with their fingers. "You've got violet eyes!" They chorused again. Sokudone balanced the petite William on one arm and held out the other. "Megamino Sokudone." The brunette with the black boots and vest and wristwatch shook it. "Hinori Akemi; nice to meet you."

"Hey, I've heard about you! You're 'The Timekeeper' from Raimon! You're actually the only the one that's more punctual than Natsumi!" Hinori chuckled. "We maintain a good relationship, nonetheless."

"So where are you off to?"

"The riverbank. I'm meeting friends there."

"Alright, I guess I'll see you soon," Sokudone stopped in her tracks and waved as Hinori walked away from the neighborhood. "See you, violet eyes!"

"As with you, violet eyes!" She shouted without looking back.

As soon as Hinori was out of view, Sokudone returned to the Kazemaru household with her pup still in her arms. "The next girl I'll meet will have the same shade of black hair as mine," She joked with her curious dog (A/N: If only mine was that light... T.T).

Meanwhile, at the airport, a blonde with blue shades greeted the waiting girl with the parasol. "Sorry I was late," He hugged her as he spoke in English. She answered in English as well. "You will pay for that, you know." The American boy grinned at her. "What say you we go to Sherry's?" In her shock, the silver-haired girl remembered the weird pale girl she met.

Karai Rein smacked him with her parasol.

"Sorry, am I…?"

"Nope, right on time as always!" The short-haired brunette smiled beside a taller boy with tanned skin. "He just came from the airport." Kino Aki said to the girl in the skirt. Hinori Akemi wiped the sweat from her forehead. "Oh, good. And welcome back. Sorry I was kinda almost late. There was a small mishap—"

"You got stopped by a dog, didn't you?" The boy asked, snickering with Aki as Akemi attempted to regain her dignity.

"Tadaima!"

"Okaeri, Ichirouta," His mother greeted by the living room as Girls For Keeps rattled in the TV. "Done is in your room, waiting."

"For what?" The tealnet whispered as he headed upstairs to his bedroom. 'Maybe she's thought of a plan already? Would she even tell me?'

"There's been a change of plan, dearest airhead-chan," The blackette greeted as soon as Kazemaru opened the door. "There was never a plan to begin with, as far as I know, you never told me anything," He answered monotonously, earning a pillow on his face. "Natsumi invited the other FFI teams," The violet-orbed girl continued as her cousin removed his coat. "I don't see anything wrong with that," He finally answered. "The prom has always been for Teikoku and Raimon!"

"It's about time we expanded,"

"Oh my Kami you're actually agreeing with Japanese Barbie."

"She has good reasons, Done."

"Uggggghhh."

So yes. That was her plan after all. To be spontaneous on it.

Not my best work. The first since Marika's disappearance. Fml.

Does anyone know a good place to advertise my story? :D And I've decided that people who want to submit their forms but can't due to my pickiness over boys now can because now you get to choose whoever you want! Even Gouenji (although Jer-bear will give you kuma hell. :D)! For those who have submitted, you can definitely make changes. :-bd Yay! :D

Review and flames and condolences well appreciated!
