I've been so deprived of eyecandy that the moment our sister school had representatives visiting us I got immediately energized to do some updating! X3
No, it's not love, a crush, or fangirling. It's as it is. :))
Disclaimer: Fun fact, I also have no heart. :D
16: The Bad Apple
It's his rotten look that makes 'em forget the good taste.
"Not wearing that."
"I didn't ask for your opinion, therefore you have to."
"Why can't I wear the normal school uniform?" Fudou Akio glared disgustedly at the sight before him: a soldier-like uniform with a matching Pershing cap similar to the one the Royal Guards wore on Teikoku's first visit to Raimon. "It's basically the same, you know," Megamino Sokudone stood beside the former, also examining the article of clothing. "And do hurry. Gohin-kun will be here soon."
"What's up with him?"
"I don't want a bad report on me on just my second week of probation!" As response, Fudou merely snorted at the petite girl and grabbed the uniform.
"You don't look very good in that dress."
"Chichi, I don't like dresses, and they don't like me."
"Although, the kimono suits you." Kageyama Reiji was eyeing an obsidian-colored silk kimono that, admittedly, would've been more suitable for much older women. "Chichi, it's pretty!" Kageyama Sokudone's eyes glimmered like the silk of the fabric did under the light. "I want to wear it to the festival!"
"Of all the colors...?"
"I want to match Chichi's colors, so I'll wear black, but a pretty kind of black!" In response, Kageyama grabbed the article of clothing, bought it by cash, and held the young girl's hand as the two left the store.
"Ah, excellent timing, Gohin-kun," Sokudone greeted as the door to her office swung open to reveal the addressee. She fully turned around and ushered him in. "Tell me," Her eyes glimmered in reflection to the morning sun. "What do you think of our student tour guide?" Lo and behold, in his barely concealed irritation, stood in attention a stoic Fudou Akio in the previously mentioned uniform. For a moment, the maroon-haired man ogled at the grand sight in front of him before regaining composure. "Professional," Was all he could manage and hope was a neutral answer.
"Off you go now, Fudou-kun," The addressee cringed at the foreign name that the onna called him but headed to the door regardless. "Meet the students at the main entrance. Only during emergencies will you contact me or Kurokawa-san."
As the doors shut close, Sokudone once more faced a waiting Gohin. "Let's get to work, then!"
"Jellybean?" A girl with hazel hair and baggy clothes offered to a startled Sasaki Naomi. Hidden by the jellybean girl's green-and-black striped shorts ran a wormlike scar on her right knee – almost as if she had so much jellybean intake they tore a hole right through her knee and escaped that way, Naomi thought.
"Thanks. Don't mind me saying, but haven't you had three packs too many of that?" Naomi asked as she stuffed four of the colored sweets into her mouth. The taller girl grinned. "I don't judge you by the way you eat jellybeans." She closed the small plastic and hid it in one of her many pockets. Jellybean girl clapped her hands clean then held out the right one. "Hiroki Zuko. Yoroshiku!"
Naomi faked a spit on her palm and immediately shook on the outstretched hand, shocking the other civilians accompanying them. "Sasaki Naomi. I got earwax flavor."
'Even if I only picked up a little on their conversation, she acts so tactlessly,' A golden brown-haired American was shaking his head lightly. He checked on his phone again, wondering where his friends were when a deep voice interrupted all interaction in Teikoku's lobby. "Group together, chickies, we're startin' the tour." The boy looked up from his phone and so did Naomi from her conversation. Suddenly, both let out a shout.
"Do you know him?" The American, Mark, heard the Hiroki girl whisper to Naomi.
'That calculating yet maniacal look…' Mark racked his memory a hundred times over just trying to remember who the boy in the Pershing cap was. 'Wasn't he from Inazuma Japan?'
"H-hey!" Mark snapped his head to Hiroki's panicked voice. "What are you—"
"Shh!" Naomi neither clamped a hand over her new friend's mouth nor put a finger over her lips; rather, she stayed behind Zuko's surprisingly thin figure. "I know him!" Naomi whispered back, "But I don't want him to see me!"
"What's going on in there, brats?" Fudou Akio's deep voice barked from the front once more. The first years and second years had all assembled before him, and he – uncharacteristic as it sounded – had waited for the eldest of the batch to huddle already. Fudou headed towards their direction. "What's the holdup?"
"Um," Zuko and Mark uttered at the same time. Fudou arched an eyebrow in response. "Is there a McDonalds in here?" Zuko managed a small yet self-humored grin as she struggled to conceal a body without giving themselves away. Mark understood the whole sentence and laughed along with the other students.
"Form a line and see for yourself, tootsie roll," The brunette clicked his tongue, clearly unamused (A/N: Ohmygod guys how is this not a word?!).
"Excuse me," Mark raised a finger as he spoke in Japanese. "I'm Mark Kruger, from the FFI's Team Unicorn of America," He struggled with his Japanese. "And I'm a little lost." The golden-haired ace motioned with his hidden hand to get the two girls moving, which Naomi saw and immediately scooted away from the scene.
"Kruger?" Fudou hadn't looked less irritated as before. "You're transferring? Looks like we didn't get the memo. Anyone else with ya?" Thank Kami Fudou knew his English (how, Mark didn't know and most likely wouldn't).
"My team, but Dylan's already been in town for almost two months, still, I wonder why he isn't here..."
"Just tag along 'til we reach the President's Office, then you talk to So-" But Fudou had more tact than anyone in his family tree, and seeing as how serious that onna's probation was, he felt like being considerate. "Talk to the President. She's locked up in there anyway, doing Kami-knows-what."
"Man, Ducky Momo's even lamer than the last time we met!" Naomi was tempted to raspberry the tour guide if it weren't for her fear of being spotted. Zuko, her human shield, burst out laughing. "D-Ducky Momo?" She set off giggling again.
"Come on, cabbage patch dweebs, we're starting the tour." Fudou spun on his heel and marched ahead of the group once more.
"He's scary and rude," A freshman whispered to her friend. Naomi slowed down to her pace and grinned at the student. "It runs in the family, kiddo."
First A/N in the story in months! I actually enjoyed those but my readers didn't so. :D A debut of two more girls and another CC guy with a huge part in the story! So, can you guys imagine Fudou's outfit and how he looks like in it? :3 Feedbacks are welcome!
Reviiiieeeewwwww~
