Aloha, long time no see, my friends!
I got caught up with the hectic-ness of school and the Intrams vibe (already this September 26th) and I'd fallen in love with Ransom Riggs' 3-year-old creation, Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children and very much so with Mr. Millard Nullings but rest assured I've got you the update you've (most likely) been waiting for! :D

19: The Strawberry's Blunt
Sweetie sure does pack a punch.
Megamino Sokudone was immensely pleased with herself – so pleased she almost forgot she was still upset at her officer. It was only when Maki had cleaned up the tea and excused herself from the room that the blackette remembered. "Gohin-kun," The lunch bell cut her short, and the older man failed to hear her call. Sokudone tsked, but nevertheless kept to herself.
Fudou Akio was not a patient boy – not at all.
The said teenager was tapping his foot as he waited for all the transfer students to settle down at their starting point. "Keh," He spat under his breath; he couldn't wait any longer any more – he had to go. Finally, finally, after how many minutes of foot-tapping, nonsense-murmuring, and underbreath-cussing, the group had settled down, and Fudou got straight to his last words. "I'm sure you got all the junk you need, so your real classes start tomorrow. Anyone needing to see the Pres, come with me."
Mark, Zuko and Naomi huddled together along with the cartographing sophomore and rushed to catch up to the briskly walking tour guide. "Wonder why he's in a rush..." Mark wondered aloud. Although she wasn't as fluent in English as Naomi, Zuko caught the 'why' and assumed Mark was wondering why Tour Guide-pyon was in such mood. "He wants to see her very badly," And the caramel-skinned girl herself had reverted to such a mood. 'Gaaaah, Chicken Comb is such a piss!' The jellybean hoarder could feel heat in her cheeks at her unknown frustration. Maybe she took Tour Guide-pyon's rejection more seriously than she thought. "Oi, Zuko, what's with you?" Naomi whispered; she stayed behind the addressee in an attempt to remain hidden from Fudou for reasons continuously unknown. The girl could hear Zuko's uncharacteristic sigh.
"I ran out of beans,"
Unknown to the group, Fudou snorted, sharp as he was.
The quintet ran into a beaming Kurokawa Maki, who was on her way to have lunch. "What's with you, candle-face?" Fudou raised a brow at the latter. Under normal circumstances, Maki would've blown him off with an excuse involving her precious Shachō, but this was not in the 'normal circumstances' category, given the fact that she was still smiling as she spoke. "We found a loophole." Maki didn't spill any more confidential details any further, but she did tell the quintet to hurry if they wanted to know.
And honest to Commander, Fudou so badly did.
Gohin opened the door just as soon as the small group of seniors arrived. The older man stepped back and held the door open as Fudou sauntered inside without invitation. The four transfers, as was the custom, remained outside. "Yo," Zuko mimicked a salute at the maroon-haired officer. "Who're you?"
"Gohin Takahiro, probationary officer."
"'Probationary'?" Mark echoed the older man's words.
"Must be a troublesome princess or something?" He joked to himself in English, but both Naomi and Gohin caught the jest; the former glared and spat 'sexist' in his direction, while the other man gave a 'you-have-no-idea' smile. "In a way."
The two teens' eyes widened at the unexpected response.
Meanwhile, the hazel-haired Hiroki Zuko struggled to steal a glance at the person Tour Guide-pyon was conversing with. 'Is he into older women or something?' The teenager wondered. "Hey, what'd you say about the school president again?" Zuko straightened up and looked up at the vertically blessed Gohin. The man answered with a patient smile. "Figure it out," He said when a feminine voice called out from the back, "Oh, come in, you guys!" Then a cheerier, "Gohin-kun, let them in – you eat ahead."
Gohin opened the door wider and stood back, indicating their welcome. The students filed in, still huddled, and didn't see the school president as Fudou blocked her; they were too busy ogling at the size of the room.
"Akio, step aside; I want to see them," Zuko suspected a fairly young president, maybe fresh out of college – someone who inherited the position from daddy or something, but when the mohawk-haired delinquent sat on the edge of the table, the quad's jaws all found themselves frolicking on the floor.
On the office chair smugly sat a teenager.
"Donnie?" Demanded Mark as he approached the table. Was this some kind of joke? Kageyama-Megamino Sokudone beamed in recognition at him, Fudou glared, and Zuko huffed her cheeks. "Welcome to Japan, Mr. Kruger! I heard Unicorn had arrived, but no one told me you wanted to enroll,"
'Mr. Kruger?' Mark shook his head, still in shock. "The last time we met, you were only fourteen!"
"I'm turning fifteen soon, yes."
"B-but shouldn't there be an age requirement for..." The cartographer student trailed off. Sokudone turned her attention to him. "I can almost reach the minimum age. Let's keep that between us six, yes?" (A/N: In our Economics class, minimum working age is 15.)
"Is that why you have a probationary officer?" Zuko crossed her arms. For some reason she wasn't exactly a fan of this girl. She reminded Zuko of a young bigshot – and that drove her beyond her understanding. "Long story, actually," Sokudone grinned at her when Fudou suddenly sat up and glared at Zuko. Sokudone stiffened in shock and Mark readied to hold the tour guide back. "Hey, geddouta there, McFoodie."
Zuko stepped to the side, and her shadow followed her.
Fudou had an aha glint in his eye, and his arm shot up and grabbed the body hiding; it squeaked in response. There was a hint of recognition in Fudou's features, but he hoisted Zuko's shadow and the two of them exited the room without another word.
"...They'll be fine," Sokudone assured the students as they all continued to stare at the mahogany doors. "So, what be your business with the school president, pray?"
The cartographer kid stepped forward. "I'd like to request an accurately scaled map of the school."
"Of course." The blackette had expected a student with an obsession with scale maps to be moving to her school, so she had asked one of the original builders to create a map just for the student. As soon as he received it, the cartographer kid made a polite bow and rushed for the door.
Mark uncharacteristically stumbled forward, his face still etched with shock. "D-Donnie," He stammered the nickname he and his team gave the girl, "You...dad...Mr. K...but..."
"Is my being an authority that big of a shock to you?" Sokudone was grinning as they conversed in English, causing some mental anguish in the not-so-fluent Zuko. "My bad," Mark felt a confused drop of sweat slide down the side of his face. "Wasn't clear enough on my expression, I guess."
Sokudone laughed a held-back laugh. "Let's tackle on that later," Violet eyes glazed over towards t chocolate-eyed Zuko. "I've been expecting you, Hiroki-san."
"Correct me if I'm wrong, but I take it that you're not very fond of me."
"Well—"
"And tell me if I err, but you seem to have taken interest in my tour guide?" Sokudone was preparing some tea for her and Hiroki who was busy fumbling in the President's chair; why did Kageyama-san even let her stay there anyway? Was she mocking her? Zuko thought about how Kageyama-san said my instead of the though, which she definitely heard. Were they together? "...Oh, man."
"Pardon?"
"Huh?" Zuko blinked as the petite president approached with a teaset in her hands. "Are you guys together or something?"
'I don't know how much fun I'm going to have with this person around,'
"Or something," the blackette offered with a hinting smile. Zuko blushed instead of fumed. 'Uh oh. She's probably misreading things.'
"So what could possibly have raised your interest in Fudou Akio?" Kageyama-san pressed again, patient yet anxious.
'But this is really going to be fun.'
Ohhh how long has it been since I last entered the Inazuma side of FFN. I miss it. :( I've been lingering too long on the Naruto and Teen Titans portions of it. And I tell ya, EmaniaHilel writes so wittingly she sounds almost like Raven – who she's pairing up with Robin! Hooray for the bird craze (I mean plus Miss Peregrine's)!
