That night, when everyone was getting ready for dinner, Kagome was on her balcony looking over everything below. A raven landed right beside her and morphed into a man with knee length black hair and red eyes. His tannish skin shone darkly in the moonlight.
"Leshian. How was the trip?" Asked Kagome, not looking at the man.
"As good as any other. Sita and Fanisha are on their way here. Something is afoot." He replied, his voice like velvet.
"Indeed. I can sense it."
"Shall we send spies?"
"No. Best not let them know we suspect anything."
"Back up plan if anything goes wrong?"
Kagome smirked, her eyes flashing from a red to gold and back to blue in a manner of seconds. "What kind of Hunter would I be if I didn't have one?"
They both laughed and Kagome walked back inside, Leshian following. "You are very right, Kagome. How are the humans holding up? Do they know of your...nightly adventures?"
"If they did, they would be surrounding me, asking me questions and never letting me leave the bloody house."
Leshian sighed. "That is true. Forget my asking."
She just shrugged.
And on the first floor...the crashing began.
