A/N: Sorry if it's been a long while since I updated. Anyway, I've decided to continue my stories. Also, I've decided to change this story's title to accommodate the changes I've made, mostly because I've decided to get more to the parts I want to showcase more. It's been a long time since I've updated this but I'll try my best to deliver this story like I planned to. I'll also do my best in keeping this updated but I can't keep any promises. Anyway, here's the chapter.
Chapter 6: Another Vision
Jason woke up and found himself in the same room he was before. He realized that there is something wet on his forehead. He moved into a sitting position on the bed and a towel fell in front of him. Then, Cindy noticed the Snivy.
"Hey! You're awake!" the Zorua said.
Jason tried to stand up but he was stopped by Cindy.
"Sorry but you need to rest," Cindy said. "I can't let you wonder around in that condition of yours."
Jason couldn't do anything about it so he laid himself on the bed and followed the Zorua's instructions. Cindy placed the wet towel back on Jason's forehead and she also offered an Oran Berry to Jason, who accepted it. While eating the Oran Berry, Wilfred and Elaine entered the room.
"Jaso—" Wilfred shouted before he was cut off by Elaine.
"Not so loud. There are other Pokémon sleeping in other rooms," Elaine said.
"Sorry," Wilfred apologized.
Jason looked to his side and saw that the sun is still up due to the daylight that's coming through the window. After eating the Oran berry, Jason asked what time it is.
"It's already noon," Cindy responded.
Jason looked again outside the window. He can't help but wonder about something.
"Cindy, you're partners with Elaine, right?" Jason asked.
"Yes. Why?" the Zorua said.
"I was wondering what kind of team you two formed," Jason asked.
"We're a proud rescue team," Cindy said.
"And my partner here is training under Ms. Megan to help Pokémon in need, especially during our missions!" Elaine proudly said, even though there is a hint of teasing in her voice, as she moved next to the Zorua and nudged the black fox.
"Th—that's nothing special," Cindy, who was somewhat blushing, said while looking away from the Snivy. Jason can't help but smile at the two. Then, Wilfred approached Jason.
"Sorry I forgot to give you this earlier. It must've slipped my mind somehow," Wilfred said as he gave something to Jason. Jason inspected it up close and noticed that it was similar to the badge Jason saw a while ago. He remembered that the badge he saw earlier was Wilfred's team badge.
'I wonder…' Jason's thought was cut off when Wilfred spoke.
"It's your team badge," Wilfred explained. "It's an essential item for teams, like us."
Jason inspected the back of his badge and saw some engravings. He saw his name on it and he noticed that there is something below his name. He saw organized dots and lines which he can't understand. He thought that it might be a code.
"Why can't you tell Jason that you thought you lost it but you just forgot that your father have it all the time," Elaine said, which was meant to provoke Wilfred.
"H—Hey!" Wilfred, who obviously fell for it, said.
"What? Can't you say anything to defend yourself?" Elaine said.
"A lot of things happened today. It's no surprise if someone forgets something."
"Sorry but that's not a valid excuse."
"It's not an excuse!"
"It is."
"It's not."
"It is!"
"It's not!"
"Stop it, you two!" Cindy stopped the two before their argument grew worse. Both the Oshawott and the Vulpix looked away from each other. Cindy approached Jason and grabbed the towel. She dipped the towel in a basin of water and she wrung the towel first before placing it back on Jason's forehead.
"I think it's best to sleep some more. It might be possible that you lack enough rest due to the circumstances," Cindy suggested. Jason gave a nod and he thought that there's nothing else better to do. Jason closed his eyes and tried his best to go to sleep.
"In the meantime, you two should go," Cindy said. "Besides, aren't you two forgetting something?"
"Like what?" Wilfred was confused about what the Zorua said.
"Something like how the both of you promised to help a certain someone find some certain things?" Cindy smiled a little bit.
"Oh no," Elaine said, realizing what she forgot.
"We forgot about it!" Wilfred added. "Let's go, Elaine!"
The two quickly left the room. Footsteps and voices can be heard as the two of them ran through the corridor.
"It's your fault, Wilfred!"
"How come it's only my fault?"
"Don't run in the corridors!" someone shouted.
"Sorry!" Both Wilfred and Elaine responded.
"Geez. These two…" Cindy said. After that, she remembered to change the water in the basin. After balancing the basin on her head, the Zorua left the room. After a while, Jason, who fell asleep, saw something.
"So what? What I care about is getting what I want!" A Pokémon, whom Jason thought was familiar but the Pokémon's red hair told him otherwise, said before spewing red hot flames from his mouth. The flames seem to be directed towards a Pokémon with a white tail.
Then, he saw another after the first one.
"Let's do this! Let's burn that annoying grass-type into a crisp," the same Pokémon from before said, with a wicked smile.
"I'm always ready!" another Pokémon said. Jason noticed that the Pokémon has a dark brown color with pale brown paws, ears, tail tip, and face. He also noticed that the Pokémon also has a reddish orange nose.
Jason noticed that he is between the two Pokémon. After a short while the two Pokémon started running around him. Both Pokémon was circling around Jason and at the same time, they both unleashed Flamethrower.
Jason woke up and got up in a position where he can sit on the bed using the headboard as a support. Jason was heavily breathing but he tried to remember what he just saw. He thought about what he saw and asked himself if it was a dream. After a while, Jason recovered his breathing and noticed that there is no one in the room. He tried to recall on what he saw. He was able to see that in what he saw, there are plenty of trees nearby.
"A forest?" Jason asked himself.
Jason was bugged about this. He can't help but wonder about what he just saw. After a few moments, he decided to leave the room. The Snivy was clueless about where to go since he isn't familiar with the place yet. After walking a while, Jason turned right and he softly bumped into someone. Jason recognized that it was the same Buneary he bumped into a while back.
"I'm sorry!" the Buneary quickly apologized.
"No. It's not your fault. I wasn't looking when I turned," Jason explained.
"I wasn't looking too! I'm really sorry!"
"Anyway, can you direct me to the nearest exit?"
"That's easy! Just walk ahead and turn left on the second turn," the Buneary happily said.
"Thanks. Oh, one last thing. Which direction is the forest?"
"It's located north of Central Town."
"Thanks again. I appreciate the help," Jason said and quickly headed for the exit.
"You're welcome!" the Buneary shouted back.
Jason walked past a turn and turned left in the next one. There, he found the exit.
'I've got a bad feeling about what I just saw,' Jason thought.
