Seth groggily answered the phone, but became wide awake the minute he heard the serious, worried voice on the other end. He listened and asked, "Is it bad, Dean?" After hearing an affirmative answer and instructions, he hung up. Quickly, he rose from the lazy boy chair he had fallen asleep on after a movie and drinking for a couple of hours with a friend.

Seth put his shoes on and looked toward the couch the friend had fallen asleep. He saw that his friend was awake and looking at him questioningly, but Seth held up a finger letting him know he'd explain in a minute. He dialed another number and when the person answered he said, "Hunter? Dean said open the safe house and make sure Doc is there. He said it is bad."

Seth hung up, grabbed his keys and said, "Ok, Roman. We have to go; I'll explain on the way." Roman nodded and they left the apartment.

Seth immediately started explaining when they got to his car, "Ok, after the three of us got back from the war, we went our separate ways. Dean and I went on vacation and when we got back about a month ago, Hunter contacted us on this job. Dean was immediately put undercover as a dealer to get in good with Sheamus and about two weeks ago he discovered that Randy was somehow involved. That's where the two of us come in. You were brought in this week to watch Randy as his underwriter and I start as his new secretary tomorrow." He looked over to see Roman looking darkly out the car window.

"Hey," he said, "stop thinking about the past. We all saw dark and evil thing over there, but we're home now." Roman just nodded and continued to stare out the window.

Seth sighed and turned forward again, finding himself thinking of the past. They were one of the best three men special ops team over there. He was the strategist, Roman was the striker and Dean was their first line. They held the record for the most successful missions done during the war and he had no doubt they would be successful in this one. How hard could it be, right?

The safe house was only a ten minute drive outside the city and pushed back into the woods deep enough no one could see from the road. Dean kept a watch in his review to make sure the man in the back was still holding and was grateful when nothing serious happened until he turned onto the driveway. He was half way up the drive when he heard choking noises from the back. Checking the review mirror and noticing Randy having difficulty breathing, he muttered under his breath, "Just hold on a few seconds more and then Doc will help you."

Dean pulled in front of the house and was relieved to see Doc standing in the open door way. He hurriedly pulled Randy from his car and rushed up the steps, saying as he approached, "The bastard choked, carved and raped him. He's lost a lot of blood and he needs air, Doc."

Doc nodded and said, while getting out-of-the-way, "Go put him on the bed and you'll have to help. My nurse isn't here yet."

Dean nodded and took Randy to a room set up like a hospital's. He once thought it was strange to have a room like that in a house, but was very thankful the first time he had been a patient. He watched as Doc quickly examined Randy's throat, put an air bag on him and gave the back to
Dean.

"There doesn't look like major damage to his trachea, but his throat is swollen. Squeeze the bag to force air down his throat so he can breathe. I need to look at those carvings and stop his bleeding," the doctor said as he finished hooking Randy to the monitor devices he had.

A couple of minutes later four other people arrived. They walked in the house and now stood observing from the bedroom door way.

Hunter sighed and said, "One of you take over for Dean and tell him to come to my office for debriefing." He started to walk away when he looked at his wife tiredly and said, "Looks like a long morning, Steph."

Steph nodded while saying, "I'll go start the coffee."

Seth started to walk into the room, but was stopped by Roman's hand on his shoulder. "I'll do it," he firmly said. He then walked up to Dean and stated, "Go get debriefed, Dean. I'll take over."

Dean left and Roman continued helping Randy breathe. The room was silent for a few moments, until Roman said, "Talk to me Doc."

The Doc sighed, "You know about his throat. These carvings…..nothing vital were hit, but quite a bit of muscle is cut that I'm stitching up. He's going to have to strengthen them when he heels enough. His rectal area I haven't examined yet, except to take a quick sample." His hesitated before continuing, "I'm assuming there will be quite a bit of stitching to do there too. This poor boy is going to be in a world of pain when he wakes up."

"What about his jaw?" Roman asked staring at the nasty bruise that marred Randy's handsome face.

"It'll fade. His jaws not broken," the doctor answered.

Relieved for that at least, Roman let the doctor work in silence until his nurse finally showed up. At that point, the doctor decided Randy no longer needed assistance in breathing and told Roman he could leave. Roman got up and when he got to the doorway of the room, he took one last look at Randy and silently promised that Sheamus would pay.
