Emma squinted, opening her eyes. Her whole body ached as she remembered what had happen in the Enchanted Forest.

The curse. The curse was broken and everyone was back in Storybrooke. Everything was back to normal. Well, as normal as Storybrooke can get.

Snow and Charming barged into the apartment, "Emma, Emma! What are you doing here?"

"The curse must have brought me back here."

The sudden flashback of Killian dying in the Enchanted Forest made her gasp.

"Hook, Hook where is he?" She looked around the room frantically. The curse brought people back to where they were when it started, so where was Killian?

"Sorry for the mess, love. The curse took me away a little later than your parents so I came up here looking for your boy," Killian said, appearing on the second floor of her apartment.

Emma smiled, relieved that he was okay and ran upstairs to him. She tackled him with such force that it caused him to lose his balance and fell on the bed behind him, bringing Emma down with him.

"You look happy to see me, love" he said, as she giggled into his shoulder.

He sat up, with her sitting in his lap. She looked at him hesitantly.

"What's wrong, love?" He asked, worried.

"I have something to tell you." She said. Killian looked at her, urging her to continue.

"When I watched you die back in the Enchanted Forest, I realized that I wanted to tell you something, before it was too late."

"I just wanted to say that I-" She paused, not knowing whether or not she should continue. He stared at her, eyes bright.

"I love you." She whispered. There she said it. Everything that she felt for him in three words. She had been afraid that maybe saying them aloud would make everything seem real. That losing him would be a possibility. She didn't want to lose him.

He grinned, being the devilishly handsome pirate that he is, and reached out to brush a loose strand of hair from her face.

"And I, you." He said softly, as he leaned in closer to kiss her.

As they broke away from their kiss, Killian took her hand and placed it in his chest, over his heart.

"This heart, as long as it's beating, will be yours"

She smiled and wrapped her arms around him and pulled him close, resting her head on this shoulder. He had once told her, "There is always a crisis. Perhaps you should consider living your life during them otherwise you might miss it." After everything that has happened, perhaps she should start enjoying moments like these.

They stayed like that for a while, with her in his lap, holding on to each other.
