Thanks so much for waiting! It was really long, and I sincerely apologize for that, but I hope you find this somewhat enjoyable! It's really more of a filler chapter, but I wanted to update as quickly as I could!

~Happy Reading!

~ • Rose • ~

Rose admitted that this was one of the most terrifying things she had ever agreed to.

Was she stupid for doing it? Maybe. And since it was a fourteen-year-old giving the plan, she wasn't exactly sure of she could trust it or not, even if she was a child of the goddess of wisdom. Still, for the fate of these demigods and probably the world (again), Rose was gonna risk it all. They were a team, and even though she and The Doctor had only met Percy and Annabeth on that very day, there was a special connection between the four of them that told her everything was going to work, and everything was going ot be alright.

"Go!" Percy and The Doctor raced off, heading into the forest and on the way to the Hephaestus cabin, hoping to find Beckendorf on the way. If he couldn't help them then they didn't know what else to do, really. Rose didn't think The Doctor could cook up any regeneration energy in time, and there wasn't any other options. Meanwhile, Annabeth kept reassuring Rose that she would cover her, as long as she just calmly walked out there and stayed alert.

"You got it?" Annabeth asked one more time. Rose nodded her head.

"Yeah."

"Okay," Annabeth took out a New York Yankees cap from behind her. "good luck." She put it on and disappeared. Rose blinked out of confusion. Well, she has seen stranger things than a teenage girl turning invisible. "What are you doing staring at me?! Go, woman!"

"Okay! Yeesh! I think I ought to have some time to process the fact that you disappeared!" Rose got up, walking towards the battlefield. She tried not to focus on how much damage was going on, though the sights may have already scarred her for life a little. Rose turned her head left, and there were several heroes holding up celestial bronze shields, trying to shield themselves and their siblings. Rose turned her head left, and she saw a bulky girl in a bandanna helping something get off the war ground, supporting them as the injured boy limped off. Rose hasn't seen any dead bodies yet, which was good. Still, she was astonished. These were teenagers, some even younger, and here they were fighting for their lives when they have so much to live for.

Rose was determined to win this battle, so no one had to die today.

"Hey!" Rose shouted as loudly as she could. Getting a Dalek's attention was easy, but keeping it was hard if they decide to kill you early. "You lot! Stop what you're doing!" Surprisingly, they did stop. They guns seized fire, and their glassy, blue eyepieces all turned in Rose's direction. Rose was astonished. Maybe she really was a daughter of Aphrodite and had the power of charmspeak. None of them moved from their current positions, which was also good.

The demigods even stopped what they were doing, holding their shields up for defense, ready to attack when necessary. Rose was still stunned of their bravery. Then they began to run away, and she saw one boy get pushed when there was nothing. Rose's face softened, knowing it was Annabeth who was trying to clear the field. No point in fighting something you know nothing about, she had said earlier.

The head Dalek examined Rose, it's eyepiece scanning her from head to toe. It's lights flickered in confusion. It scanned her again, and Rose decided to stay put in her spot ten feet away from them. It's like kept flickering, like it didn't have the ability to process what was going on. Rose felt her lips creep up into a smile, silently praising Annabeth for her amazing theory which was true. The Dalek also continuously stuttered, unable to find words. "What's the matter? Cat got your tongue?" Do Daleks even have tongues? Rose didn't want to think about that, though she had a feeling they did.

"I-I-" The Dalek repeatedly beeped. The eyepiece kept switching from up and down and back and forth. The information was not processing in it's mind. "Why are you human?"

Rose scoffed playfully. "In the words of Lady GaGa, baby, I was born this way!"

Obviously not understanding that reference at all, the Dalek scanned Rose once again, unable to find a proper answer. Rose's knees began to buckle. She didn't like the way they were examining her, and the way they'd do it again.

Finally it stopped, it's eye stared at Rose. Rose didn't know how much longer she could take it staring at her, nor how much longer her legs would support her. "We do not understand; we will do the one thing we do to things we do not understanding."

Without even noticing, Rose's feet began guiding her backward, guiding her away from the Dalek. Rose stuttered, "A-and what's th-that?"

"We EXTERMINATE!" It raised it's laser gun.

"MOVE!" An invisible force hurled Rose to the ground, and the laser beam flew straight past them. Thanks to Annabeth, who cleared the area and just knocked Rose to the ground, their lives and many others were saved. "Stay down!"

"What are you going to do then?! They're coming quick!" Rose wanted to pull Annabeth along, even trying to grab her wrist which was obviously hard since she couldn't see it, she had a feeling Annabeth wasn't letting her. "Annabeth, we have to go find The Doctor and Percy!"

"You have to get out of here! I'll take care of things. You've gotta go, Rose." She couldn't see it, though Rose liked to think she was probably giving a glare that would make Rose want to run for days. "Rose, I'm going say this one more time: go."

"Annabeth, I am not leaving you." There was silence surrounding her, and the Daleks were still a good distance away. Rose looked around, and she did not sense Annabeth anywhere near her. "Annabeth?" It took her a minute to realize what was happening.

"HIYAH!" Clashes of metal filled the empty surroundings, and Rose looked over at the Daleks immediately. She saw sparks flying, like stars soaring, and all the Daleks were getting hit once before the next one got hit, then the next one, then the next. Rose wanted to scream to her to stop, but then she noticed something peculiar. The cuts were open, revealing the inside of the Dalek armor, then quickly, the gap closed. Rose gasped, amazed she found an answer. It may not have been fast enough to actually damage them, but it was worth a shot. She knew what she had to go and do.

Rose pushed herself onto her feet, and hoped for the best for Annabeth. She knew Annabeth was strong, and hopefully she'd be alive when Rose came back, or else Percy would never forgive her nor would she ever forgive herself. "Annabeth, keeping doing that for as long as you can! Stay safe!"

"JUST GO!" Annabeth hollered back. All the Daleks were confused, beeping and trying to find words. Their eyes shifted side to side, trying to catch Annabeth in the act. They knew someone was there and attacking, though they didn't know if it was possible to attack back. Rose was so glad their system was so messed up. Rose ran as fast as her feet would take her, off to find The Doctor and Percy.

~ • Percy • ~

Percy couldn't remember the last time he ran so hard his lungs burned.

It more a 'run for your life' type of situation at the moment, and boy was The Doctor fast. His long legs took him far, and Percy was only a mere 5'6 at the moment, not that it was a super big bummer. It was just, compared to The Doctor, he felt like a bug that could be easily squashed.

"Percy! Lead the way! I have no idea where we're going!" The Doctor shouted. He could feel his anxiety radiating off of him, just as Percy's was. He was worrying about Rose. She got thrown onto the field without any sort of protection and Annabeth watching her back, except Annabeth could only do so much to protect her. Speaking of which, now he was getting worried for both of them. His loyalty level is indeed very high, and him worrying was just a part of it. Rose, even only meet her today, is like an older sister he's never had. As for Annabeth, of course, is his best friend and he couldn't afford to lose her. Percy picked up the pace, and they began running away from the amphitheater, past the canoe lake, a heading towards the forges. "Slow down, lad! I'm not very young!"

"Says the person who's been running so much faster this whole time!" Percy shouted between his feeble breaths. "Nearly there! We're nearly to the forges!"

"I thought Annabeth said-"

"Forget the cabin! I honestly doubt he's there! She doesn't know him as well as I do, he's probably in the forges making weapons with all mighty speed! Come on, Doctor!"

"Alright! Wearing down my converse, though!"

Percy didn't care that he was defying Annabeth's orders, but it was true, he was most definitely in the forges. Especially at a time like this, he was most likely preparing weapons for the other cabins, and he was the best for it. "We're here."

Percy pushed open the doors of the forges, revealing the room of fire, sparks, clashes, clinks and one outrageously hard-working demigod. The Doctor took a look around the room, taking in his surroundings. Percy didn't have time to think too much of him. "Beckendorf! We need your help."

"Percy," Beckendorf grunted, running back and forth between hammering down swords, and checking other weapons that were heating in the fire. "I'm a little busy! I've got so much do to because of these aliens that I-"

"NOW." Percy gritted his teeth. He has never been really mean to anyone, or acted agitated, but this was Rose and Annabeth they were talking about, there was no time to lose. The clock's ticking, they could die in any minute. He didn't want to admit that that was his motivation at the moment. "We need something that could possibly destroy these guys."

Beckendorf pushed up his wielding mask, meeting Percy's eyes. He eyed The Doctor, nodded his head in greeting, then returned to Percy. The Doctor made a face at him "What? I don't get an introduction?"

"Watch is ticking, sir, we'll do that later."

"What can you make for us?" Percy curled his fingers at him, his impatience growing.

"I'm not sure, since I've never seen these things before, nor do we know if celestial bronze will actually work on these guys. They're not Greek, they're alien." Beckendorf turned towards The Doctor, raising an eyebrow at him. "I believe you're an expert. What can you tell me?"

The Doctor opened his mouth to speak, stuttering when he tried to do so. The Doctor then began using hand motions, but it didn't make much progress. Beckendorf looked at Percy, and Percy just shrugged his shoulders. "They're practically indestructible aside from three things: TARDIS energy, their own laser beams and my regeneration energy, though I honestly do not feel like dying any time around now."

Percy and Beckendorf exchanged confused glances again, not understanding anything he said except for being able to get destroyed by their own beams. "Really?"

"Really what?"

"They can get destroyed by their own beams?"

"Yes." Beckendorf gave Percy a smirk.

"We gotta make some shields." Together, yes all three of them, began grabbing large sheets of celestial bronze, heating them, hammering several sheets together and formed Greek shields. With their teamwork, they could make one shield a gazillion times faster than one working on their own, even for a Hephaestus child.

"Doctor!" Rose showed up at the door, trying to catch her breath, her hair a mess and pink shirt slightly rolled up. She looked around, the room, taking in her surroundings just as The Doctor did. No wonder she and The Doctor worked well with each other. "Doctor! Percy! I've found a way! Your guys's weapons work on them, but the wounds close far too quickly!"

"How do you know this?" The Doctor asked while hammering a shield down. Rose count help but stare at The Doctor while he was working. Percy guessed it was because his sleeves were rolled up (apparently girls really like that), his face glistened with sweat and he just looked pretty handsome, especially for a nine hundred year old dude. "Rose!"

"S-sorry! Annabeth is attacking them, trying to stall time." Percy dropped his hammer.

"You left her there alone?!" Percy screamed. Rose nodded, backing up away from Percy. "How could you? Who knows how long she'll be able to last out there! Why did you leave her? You weren't supposed to leave her!" Percy's heart was racing, his mind exploding, the blood in his veins rushed like the harsh rivers all over the world and he just couldn't control his shaking hands. He knew Annabeth was tough, and she could manage on her own, but this time was different. They weren't going against some Greek monster they learned how to go against, these were freaking aliens.

"Percy.." Rose said in a voice barely above a whisper. "I'm sorry. She told me to go, okay? She told me to."

"Lad, give Rose a weapon, you two have to stall and get more time." The Doctor instructed gravely. Percy nodded his head. He lead her to the corner of the forges, presenting her with any weapon of her choice. Surprisingly, Rose chose a battle ax.

"Let's go!"

"I sure do hope I can use this thing..."

~ • The Doctor • ~

Normally he wasn't too keen on letting Rose get a weapon, since he himself hated weapons and pretty much everything violent, but this was a different case. Not some galaxy war with ray guns that he could stop with his sonic screwdriver, it was a Greek war, and even when fighting Daleks, it was the only way.

"What about you? What are you gonna choose?" Beckendorf asked The Doctor as he hammered celestial bronze together. He pushed it to his new friend, and The Doctor was using his screwdriver to make it round.

"I don't do weapons," The Doctor replied calmly. "I don't believe in violence, and that violence can solve multiple problems, no. None of that." Beckendorf continued working, like that comment didn't bother or surprise him at all.

"Alright, but you gotta do things Greek style today. So I don't think that thing of yours is gonna cut it."

The Doctor furrowed his eyebrows, staring at the screwdriver. He pouted, and he supposed that Beckendorf was right. It could never really work on the Daleks anyway. "I suppose your right." The Doctor grabbed a shield. "I'll take a shield."

Beckendorf rolled his eyes. Nevertheless, he accepted The Doctor's choice. "Alright. I'll finish this one, then ht next is the last. I'll deliver them to you guys as soon as I'm done, and please keep them distracted."

"Yes, sir!" The Doctor took the shield, and ran off back towards the amphitheater.

~ • Percy • ~

"Percy! Let's go!"

"I'm not the best at running, okay? Cut me some slack!"

"Well I won't be cutting it if Annabeth is in danger!"

"Is that supposed to help me?!"

"If it's supposed to help make you run faster, yes! And why on Earth does this camp got to be so big?!"

"Will you stop?! Gods, you seriously are like an older sister!" Percy saw Rose chuckling beside him, showing off a bright, beautiful smile. Even in their current situation, he couldn't help but smile too. Percy turned his head back forward to keep focus on his path, or else he has the potential to hit a tree. Always likely, never know.

The hot, humid air hung in the air heavily, almost perfect weather for a run if you're a normal mortal living in the area. They're so close, they can see the field peeking between the trees. The Daleks were still around, and many campers came back onto the field, joining the battle again. They were swinging swords, spears, everything trying to slow them down as much as they could. The Daleks kept shooting their lasers as self-defense, meaning the campers also had to avoid getting hit each time. When Rose and Percy didn't see Annabeth fighting, they were getting worried.

Rose and Percy arrived at the scene, and Clarisse was leading.

"Where's Annabeth?!" He and Rose demanded at the same time. Percy uncapped riptide, joining the others who were not making much progress. Percy gasped when he made the mark in one, but it faded so fast, it was like nothing happened. One thing was for sure that it sure did slow them down. Clarisse grunted, stabbing her spear into one and pulling it back out.

"On the other side! You better help her! A couple other ones came out the ship unexpectedly. She looks like she's about to pass out!" Clarisse told Percy. She didn't have anything else to say, except for the Dalek she was busy fighting. Percy rushed to the other side of the ship to find Annabeth struggling to stay on her feet while three Daleks were all trying to attack her simultaneously. Percy gasped in horror, though he was amazed to see that had been holding up so well. Her knees were wobbling, her arm lowering more and more after swinging so many times, her face was covered in sweat. He knew what he had to do.

Percy ran in, pushing Annabeth aside onto the ground and took it from there. He sliced riptide like we was cutting a bunch of apples, only to watch the apples barely get cut and their wounds close fast. He tried stabbing, lunging, everything Luke had taught him only to find barely any progress. If he was certain of one thing, it was to keep Annabeth safe for as long as he could. Soon, they were surrounding him, circling around him like they were hungry wolves and he was a fresh piece of meet.

One of them approached Percy from behind, ready to strike.

Annabeth's eyes widened, and even though she had lost almost all her energy, Annabeth managed to push herself off the ground, kicking the laser, causing it to shoot a tree, lighting it on fire. Percy turned around in surprise, staring at Annabeth in shock. "PERCY, LOOK OUT!"

Annabeth hurled herself at him, bringing him down to the ground with her as the three Daleks shot their beams in one fast, easy second. With that one action, the three of them shot each other, and disappeared just like that.

On the ground, Annabeth was still on top of Percy, which would have been awkward out of context at the moment but that didn't matter. She just saved his life from getting killed by a bunch of aliens. Both of them had their eyes shut tightly. Percy wrapped his arms fully around Annabeth, holding her head to his shoulder and other arm around her waist. She had his arms around his neck. When they opened their eyes, they found peace around them (at least on their side of the ship). Annabeth pushed herself up, taking a look around. For some reason time seemed to be frozen.

The two of them realized what they were doing, and didn't care a bit. Annabeth sat Percy up, and hugged him tighter than she has ever held him against her. They locked each other's eyes, laughing in amazement. Percy instinctively pushed several strands of hair behind Annabeth's ear. He couldn't tell if it was from the heat or something, but she was blushing for sure. They decided to make it their moment while they still could. "You okay?" He whispered.

Annabeth nodded her head. "Yeah, just tired. Used up all my energy fighting these stupid things. Did you find Beckendorf?"

"Yeah, and we're making shields. I don't know if you saw that but they can die from their own energy."

"And since it's possible that celestial bronze can hurt them, then perhaps it'll deflect and we can kill them!"

"And if you two don't get up any time soon, I'm gonna send my mum on ya!" Rose screamed. She wielded her battle ax in both hands and her blonde hair was a mess. "Annabeth, have you got an elastic?" Annabeth kind of stared at Rose. Rose rolled her eyes, like she was saying these stupid Americans. "Do you have a hair tie?" Rose purposefully forced an American accent. This time, Annabeth rolled her eyes and shot one at her. Rose mouthed a thank you. She suggest they get back to fighting to help the others who were hopefully staying on the feet the best the can.

Back on the other side of the ship, Clarisse and several of her siblings where still fighting. Rose, Percy, and Annabeth drew their weapons preparing to join in, when suddenly, the ground beneath them began to shake, violently shuddering side to side, nearly knocking off their balance. An unnatural heat radiated off from the Daleks general area, and began spreading till their cheeks grew incredibly warm, and felt their clothes were going to melt off their body. Fire erupted from beneath the Daleks, burning the grass of the very spots there stood on. It took a minute for Rose to realize what was happening, since Percy could see the terror in her eyes. "What's going-"

"EVERYONE, DOWN!" Rose pushed Percy and Annabeth to the ground, and Clarisse ordered her siblings to do the same. Like rockets, the Daleks blasted off in the air, soaring away till they were no longer in sight. Rose sat up, and everyone did the same. They all watched as the rings of fire burned the grass and the smoke from the Daleks rise in the sky. Percy and Annabeth stared at Rose in shock.

"You didn't tell us they could fly." Percy whispered. Annabeth smacked her forehead and began cursing in ancient Greek. Rose cursed under her breath.

"This just made things so much worse."

AGH it sucks, I know, it's really more of a filler chapter. But hey, the battle isn't gonna take just one chapter.

Sorry for the long wait, and I'll try to make a better plot for the next one. I still hope you liked it! And I also have absolutely no time to read over it so I'll do that later.

Review this maybe? Thanks.
