So I have to say I have a huge amount of respect for those writers out there who put out thousand word monsters for every chapter I've come to find it ain't easy. On a brief side note I honestly don't know how long it takes to put a kid up for adoption having never been anywhere near involved with that process in my life and I am just guessing how long it takes.

When One Door Closes.

It had taken her less than twenty minutes to fill out the necessary forms to make her son a ward of the Hidden Leaf village. As soon she signed the final dot on the line Chi-Chi could feel a great weight lifted off her shoulders. She placed all the belongings that she intended to leave him with by the desk and seeing as there was no further need for pleasantries she got up and walked out the door.

'It's nearly done so long as no one found the dragon then I'm home free,' Chi-Chi thought as she walked back up the path. However seeing as there were very few people on the streets at this time of the night and that time was a factor Chi-Chi turned off the main road taking a quick detour up a dark alleyway before calling on Shenron to take her on home, vanishing in a streak of green lightning.

As the bright light fade and she felt her feet touchdown on solid ground Chi-Chi recognized that she was back home at Mount Paouz and it seemed that the storm had finally arrived as the sky opened up upon her arrival soaking her and the great dragon who was hanging in the air his frame screaming with frustration at being left so long.

"You've kept me waiting long enough what is your final wish," The irritated dragon bellowed his thunderous voice shaking Chi-Chi like a tree in a hurricane. She took a deep breathe, if the dragon couldn't grant this wish then her whole plan would be shot down to hell.

"I need you to take away any and all signs, memories, and traces from everyone on the planet except for me," Chi-Chi said her eyes hopeful as she watched the dragon who seemed to contemplate the request placed before him mulling over if he had the power to perform it.

'Small time reality manipulation, mental manipulation might be a little hiccup on that,' Shenron thought debating with himself on if he had the power to grant such a wish leaving Chi-Chi with silence. Chi-Chi felt herself stiffen, in her experience whenever an eternal dragon took so long to confirm a wish it was usually denied. Maybe it was the cold fall rain soaking her to the bone, maybe it was the dragon taking its sweet time to grant her request, or maybe it was her conscience finally checking up with her but she couldn't shake a sense of foreboding.

"Your wish has been granted" rang Shenron's booming voice shaking her out of her revere, his eyes glowed a in a sinister crimson light as his mystical powers began to take effect. Birth certificates, x-rays, baby clothes, any and all trace and memories of Goten and his existence on this planet was wiped away.

With Gohan

Gohan sat comfortably at Ox-King kitchen table surrounded by books as he finished the last bits of homework assigned to him by his mother, busy work really she hadn't been able to fully focused on his studies since the discovery of her pregnancy. He started twirling his pencil absent mindedly while his grandpa sat in the living room watching wrestling when suddenly he lurched forward an abrupt scream ripped from his throat his head felt as if it was being punched a dozen Cells. He could hear his grandfather suffering the same fate as their minds were being assaulted by the dragon's magic. He could feel something penetrating his mental defenses striking something from his memory and as he rolled on the ground in agony he was not alone as all the other z-fighters and their friends suffered similar fates as the dragon's magic removed any traces of Goku's youngest son from their memories and before long the process was complete and all victims were left unconscious and none the wiser to Chi-Chi's scheme.

Chi-Chi watched as the dragon disappeared in a blinding flash of light as the dragon balls rose into the air before scattering themselves across the planet leaving her seemingly alone and it was done. Her yearlong planning, lying to her family and friends, faking enthusiasm for a child she simply wanted to be rid of while scouring the planet while pregnant searching for the dragon balls. It was all finished and as she went to sit on a bench outside her home her shoulders felt twenty pounds heavier, she watched as the rain came to a slow and steady stop and the darkness of her actions and the mountain was illuminated by the moon's light.

If it was done and she had gotten off scot free, her horrible deed was between her and the eternal dragon and the only person wise to her scheme was on planet in another galaxy far away so why couldn't she shake that deep sense of foreboding that she had just gotten into bed with the devil himself? And she pondered the severity of her actions she was greeted with a slow steady applause as two silhouettes made themselves visible.

She jumped to her feet reaching over her shoulder for the power pole only to swear as she realized she'd somehow forgotten it on that other Earth. "Who are you," She growled out as the first figure came into her line of sight was a woman in a skin tight red and black uniform with a white cape attached to her hips the woman had light blue skin, silver hair, and dark purple eyes. As she came further into the clearing she was joined by a hulking blue skinned figure garbed in a red body suit with a black robe and a white chest piece with a broken infinity sign on a green gem with similar silver hair and light crimson eyes.

"I must say I'm quite impressed that your little plan succeed," the woman stated ignoring the question while still clapping the smirk never leaving her face. "Although I must say I'm quite disappointed that you never questioned how you had the ability to do all what you did while being pregnant, I mean sure you're the strongest woman on the planet but your still just a human," Chi-Chi snarled before attempting to lunge at the duo but found that her body was frozen in place. No amount of struggling was going to liberate her and judging by the amused look of the woman and the disinterested scowl of the man she began to highly doubt she could force the answers from them.

"Now, now none of that, shame on you" the blue skinned woman mocked while wagging finger in Chi-Chis face. "If you must know I'm Towa and this dashing gent is Mira, and you are an interesting little side project of ours," Towa said as she watched the furious look on Chi-Chi's face shifted to one of confusion. "You see Mira and I are on a mission of the utmost importance and that mission often takes us through many different eras of time and as we happened to be passing through this era when we noticed your reaction to Goku's death, but out of the countless timelines and all your multiple counter parts in the multiverse your reaction to Goku's decision to remain dead was by far the most intriguing but normally you'd never have the heart to follow through with what you just did," she paused to gauge Chi-Chi's reaction and much to her delight she could see the mother of two was following along.

"So I gave you a little nudge here, a lowering of your inhibition there, poked at your conscience every now and again, the rest was all you and I must say what a master piece you have made good job." With that bit of exposition Towa reached behind her back pulling a staff from seemingly out of nowhere she waved the end of in front of Chi-Chi's face and suddenly her body was shrouded in a dark purple ki before it vanished just as quickly as it appeared into Towa staff. Towa watched with great satisfaction as a horrified look came over Chi-Chi's features.

"You, you bitch, how could you?" Chi-Chi seethed as her face morphed from one of great rage to one of great sadness. What had she done, the entire years events flashed through her mind as she thought of baby Goten banished away on another planet with no one to care for him. "Hah, hah how could I what all I did was give you a little nudge and place a slight bit of magic on you to help you along way the rest was all you. You're planning, your rage and definitely your ambition."

"No, no your lying I would never do such a thing to my child," she scream as her eyes welled up with tears as Towa laughter continued to ring out. She wasn't a monster, she loved Goku and Gohan and while initially not pleased at having to raise another child virtual by herself again there was no doubt in her mind in time she would have come to love Goten as well. It was the situation surrounding his birth she hated not him.

"News flash sweetheart you already did," Towa replied with a haughty laugh before she began to wave her staff around once more. "Well my dear as much as I'm enjoying this Mira and I have other things to attend to so," She taped the end of her staff to Chi-Chi's forehead and once more her body was flooded with evil ki. "A little parting gift so that way you won't be tempted to undo such a fantastic work, and that means no telling anyone or doing anything in any way to bring the boy to this planet." With their work done the two demons turned and began to retreat into the woods.

"Why?" Chi-Chi choked out as tears steadily fell at her powerlessness. If they were going to interfere in the life of her and her family at least they could tell her why.

Pausing briefly Towa glanced back at the immobilized woman, a small smirk graced lips as she turned to face her once more "I guess I can tell you it's not like you can do anything to stop what's been set into motion anyway."

"Goten in time will become a Super Saiyan just like his daddy dearest, the youngest Super Saiyan in the history of this universe in fact I should say, however due to your incessant nagging and attempts to normalize your son all that untapped potential goes straight down the drain however now you've left him alone on planet full of chaos and strife, war and death. He will be forged in its fire and reach heights yet to be seen by any of his counterparts in the multiverse."

She turned and began to walk before pausing one last time "Or die an unremarkable death and be thrown in an unmarked grave millions of miles away from anyone who would care, either or at this point only time will tell" she said with a shrug not looking back as she and Mira disappeared into the night. She was a glass half full kind of girl either way things in this timeline had just gotten interesting and she was looking forward to seeing how it all played out.

As soon as the demonic duo vanished into the night the evil ki left her and Chi-Chi felt herself able to move freely once more but all she could do was sink to her knees in grief. Was what that vile woman said true? Did she truly hate Goku and by proxy Goten, or was it that wretched dark energy that had compelled her actions and what would happen to her son? Could she regather the dragonballs and resummon her son in a year's time or would the dark magic stop her? The only thing she knew for sure was that the evil bitch was right about one thing only time would tell.

Well was going to make the chapter longer but I think this makes a good stopping point for now, and on a side note is anyone else annoyed by the overwhelming amount of filler in Naruto? 296 episodes of the series is filler that's counting the original and shippuden that's mind blowing. Know what else is mind blowing? I've updated twice in one year. Shocking isn't it?
