CHAPTER THREE
It is morning already, despite the mist that still floating and covering the streets, the sun is slowly peeking out from its hide and rudely interrupted someone's slumber causing whoever this someone person is to curse very loudly and falls off their bed.
Groaning, Lucy picks herself up from her fallen state as she rubs her sore arms and back – due to her harsh fall from the bed, stupid sun – before she entangles herself from the soft blanket – ah, how she wishes she can cuddle back with her blanket – and throws it onto the bed. As she walks towards her closet, she notices her laptop is currently giving out tweeting sound – marking she has one e-mail in her inbox. Though, she ignores it and heads towards her closet to pick an outfit for today's school.
The e-mail can wait.
She is wrong!
That e-mail is so can't be waited any longer!
Surprisingly, the e-mail is from her childhood best friend whom she hasn't seen – or heard - for almost a decade and out of the blue, he sent her an e-mail saying he'll be attending the same high school as hers with their other friends – whom also surprisingly disappears the same day as her childhood best friend did. So, she is literally freaks out before she even manages to reply something back to him.
Well, if the e-mail just sent a 'Yeah, sure. Cool to hear that. Bye.' so yeah, she replies him back.
So, here she is, at her locker, grabbing some needed books and school materials for her class this morning, completely ignoring the noisy students behind her as her mind rewinds back what she had just read this morning.
As she is about to close her locker, someone suddenly puts his arm – since she can sense how bulky his arm is - around her shoulders before pulling her towards him and ruffles her neatly combed hair messily. Lucy huffs before she pouts at glares at the culprit. "Gajeel… I swear if you don't let me go now, I am so going to kill, right on the spot!" Lucy growls and with a chuckle, Gajeel lets go of the fuming girl before he stands beside Levy – whose currently giggling from the action Gajeel had pulled on Lucy.
Lucy glares at the both of them before she pulls out the hair band that ties her hair into a high pony tail, letting her long blonde hair run free, before she combs her hair using her fingers, and ties her hair back. She slams her locker shut, ignoring the boys who are currently glancing towards her way, and locks it, her eyes still glaring at the two amused humans before her. "What do you guys want?" she asks and Levy giggles, "Well, currently, nothing. It just, you seem so happy earlier so we're just wonders, what got you so happy missy?" Levy asks and Lucy looks at her, slightly surprised by intuition as a tint of pink blush covers her pale cheeks. Levy squeals at the cute sight of her blushing best friend – albeit slightly – and Gajeel glares at whoever dares to stare more than 15 seconds at his - cutely blushing - little sister.
"Uwah, you're so cute Lu! You should blush more!" Levy says and Lucy snaps out of her daze before she joins forces with Gajeel and glares at whoever stares at her more than 5 seconds before she looks at Levy – her eyes narrow down. "Shut up Levy, I'm not cute and I'm not blushing," she says lowly, and Gajeel couldn't help but nod in agreement. No, he admits Lucy is cute and she should blushes more because it makes her way lot cuter but, he hates when someone stares at his little sister because he doesn't want someone to steal her from him. As her brother, he'll protect her from men who don't deserve her.
"Anyway, what got you so happy this morning Lu? You still don't tell us yet!" Levy asks and Lucy pouts causing Levy to hold out another squeal at the cute sight of her best friend and Gajeel once again glares at anyone who stares at Lucy more than 10 seconds. "Do I have to tell you…?" she asks and Levy nods. "Duh, of course you have to. We're best friends aren't we? So, I have to know what makes you so happy!" 'So I can use it against you and makes you blush again! Kyaa, you're so cute Lu!' Levy thought evilly as she stares hopefully at her best friend and Lucy sighs. "Fine," she breaths out heavily before she looks away from them, fingers scratching her cheek in awkwardness. "Well, you remember my childhood friends and childhood best friend I told before?" she asks and both of them nod. "Yeah, so, well, one of them – my childhood best friend that is – he sent me an e-mail this morning and he sad that he and the others are coming to Magnolia and apparently, they'll also be moving to our school and study at our school too, so yeah," Lucy says and both of them nod before they realize something. "Your childhood friends are moving here?!" both Gajeel and Levy ask at the same time and Lucy couldn't help but think how suitable they are for each other. Wait, they're PERFECT for each other!
"Yeah…" she says slowly and Gajeel clears his throat. "I see… Well, that's good a thing right? You must miss them a lot, aren't you Bunny-girl?" he asks and Lucy nods, sullenly. "Yeah… We haven't met for almost a decade so to see them again is really nice," she says and Gajeel smiles softly at her. "Don't worry Bunny-girl; I'm sure they're as eager as you are to finally meet again after all these years." Gajeel says and Lucy nods, before she looks at Gajeel, chuckling before she smirks, eyes looking at him mischievously. "When did you get so wise Metal-head?" she asks and Gajeel grows a tick mark on his forehead as he glares playfully at her. "Why you little…" and both of them start their morning recital with Levy standing by their side, giggling at those two.
Unknown by them, a pair of gleaming dark green emerald onyx eyes are staring at them – particularly the blonde hair girl – before he is interrupted by a voice behind them. "My lord, the others are waiting for us." a scarlet hair girl says as she stands behind him, and he sighs. "Erza… how many times do I must tell you to just call me Natsu every time we're on public?" Natsu asks as he turns to face the scarlet hair girl. "Sorry… Natsu, I'm supposed that's a hard habit of mine," she says and Natsu walks passed her, heading towards their awaited companions.
"She's beautiful isn't she?" Erza suddenly asks and Natsu nods, a smile gracing his feature. "Yeah, more beautiful than I ever remember," Natsu says and Erza smiles at him, before they and the others walk towards the principal's office.
Huffing away the bang that is covering her eyes, Lucy grumbles silently as she lays her face into the fold of her arms on the table as she waits for the Chemical teacher to enter the chemistry lab. She ignores completely the noisiness from her fellow classmates as she finds no interest in whatsoever they're currently talking about. Besides, it's not like she tries to be friendly with them. She groans when she feels a nudge on her left and glares at whoever dares to disturb her almost sleeping state.
The brown hair girl who nudges her awake gulps as she sweats drops under Lucy's glare before she exhales a deep breathe and smiles at the blonde hair girl. "Sorry to disturb you Lucy, but Mr. Smith is here," she says before immediately turns away from the girl. Lucy sighs before she sits correctly on her stool, facing class before her.
Although, she can't help but thinking how familiar the student next to her chemistry teacher look like,
A smirk adorns the new student's lips when he notices Lucy's gaze is upon him.
"Good morning students or I'm supposed it's good afternoon seeing at the time," Mr. Smith says as he glances at his watch, that obviously showing it is passed 12 in the afternoon, "And sorry for my lateness, as the principal had called me earlier, for obvious reason next to me," the blue hair man says before he looks at the boy, before gesturing him to walk forward. The boy clears his throat, before he smirks once again, his eyes gleam in predatory, though he ignores other girls' stare and focus solely his gaze upon Lucy before speaking, "Well, good afternoon to all of you and as you all know, I'm a new student here at Magnolia Academy. I'm used to roll in at Sabertooth High but I moved here for… some personal reasons. I love basketball, and also being one of the top players in SH basketball team, some of you do know me then right?" the boy pauses before continues on, "Oh yeah, for those who doesn't know me, my name is Natsu Dragneel and it's nice to meet all of you," he finishes and his smirks widen when he hears someone gasps.
And, that's it! the third Chap of Vampire! I really hope that you guys enjoy this! honest.
Although, I admit that there's not much of interection going on between Natsu and Lucy on this chap but, things will get more interesting on the next chap/ Hold onto my words.
Forgive me for any grammar errors and misspelled, and I need to be careful though because I may be accidentally tell my English teacher about this and I'm dead when i turn this Rated M thing-y but, I may be doing it either way. No way of telling it by now.
Anyway, goodbye for now, see'ya all next time!
With a heart currently full of sweets and other sweet cravings, - damn I'm starving now -
