mUAHAHAHAHA, I finally up dated humans! anyway, how's you all have been? Good? Glad to hears that! First of all, i won't be having much time spend online this year due to some big shock wave exam coming by this November and I totally need to nail it with big scores! so, yeah. and, replying time!
AquamarineX : Thanks for all the compliments and as far for the up dates, i'm not entirely sure. I mean, i'll up date when I have my chap done and when I have the connection in. Either way, it will because I will be too busy with school, then, i would find difficulty in surfing internet or to write a new chap or to up date my stories. as in for this story to be 2 years older despite only been posted 4 chapters (including this one) so far, yeah, kinda ridiculous when I look at it but by then, when I first post, I have like, zero idea what I'm doing. I just though of posting it without thinking of further actions or the consequences.
FlameDragonHime : Ha... I wish I could that too now but... no longer a hardcore fan of Fairy Tail and Natsu... -sigh- And yeah, I am on Wattpad under the same pseudonym, SilverTomboy_97 but I haven't post anything on it, yet.
Guest : Thanks, and I'll try to do!
Celistastar : Thanks and I will!
Guest2 : Thanks!
SleepinBeautyK : Thanks and I will!
And, that's a wrap for all the reviews. And, let's start on with the story, no? And, oh! A shout out for Celistastar for beta read this too! Thanks girl!
CHAPTER FOUR
It was silent in the chemistry lab where the chemistry class was held, except for the voice of Mr. Smith whom currently was explaining something about what effects the chemical reactions, which no one really cared to pay attention to.
Lucy was fidgeting in her chair—despite her cold and stoic look—completely ignoring the class and the teacher's explanations. Every once in a while she would glance towards her side where Natsu, whom had taken the liberty to sit next to her, was sitting.
Lucy sighed in frustration as she slightly shook her head to get rid of the annoying thoughts stuck in her head about why on earth was Natsu here, or was this really a reality and not a damn dream?
Giving Natsu one last glance, Lucy grabbed her notebook and one of her pens from the inside of the pencil case, before she started to jot down whatever important information and notes that Mr. Smith might pass by.
As she was immersed into writing down notes and listening to whatever chemistry stuffs Mr. Smith had to say, she failed to notice the fact that Natsu had taken the chance to glance at his longtime no-see best friend, a soft smile graced his usually stone hard face, softening his features.
Still gracing the same, identical golden blonde hair like almost a decade ago, despite the fact that it had grown quiet long as to reach her hips, and the same heart-warming and bright chocolate brown eyes and the slight childish and stoic features, Lucy still looked as beautiful as ever, just like the first he had seen her at the kindergarten years ago.
They had yet to talk to each other, except for exchanging greetings a while ago when he decided to sit next to her, and Natsu was itching to talk to the beautiful girl that had stole his not-so-beating heart years ago, but he decided against it, seeing as it was not the appropriate time for them to talk yet.
He ran his fingers through the thick locks of his spiky pink hair, his dark emerald eyes glanced forward as their chemistry teacher - that he still didn't know the name of, thanks to his short term memory - as he iniated an experiment to which level of temperature should make the chemical reacion faster.
Maybe, they'll talk later, when the time's right.

Natsu cursed when he once again lost the sight of his blonde headed childhood best friend as he kept on grumbling and muttering by his locker, grabbing the necessary notebooks and textbooks from the locker.
As he was busy reminiscing his loss, he almost cursed out loud and upper hooked whoever the person was that dared to casually slung their arm around his stiff shoulders.
Almost.
"Whoa, calm your tits flame-brain! We don't want any of us to get a detention on their first day of school, now do we?" Gray said almost cheekily as he smirked down at his pink haired rival, who was of equal height.
Natsu growled, clearly not in the mood for playful and teasing banter he always did with Gray, before he huffed and slammed his locker shut with more force than necessary, automatically locking the locker. He shrugged the man's cold arm off and turned around, only to be met with a few familiar faces. Blocking his way.
Oh, joy.
As much as Gray was the very best second hand man he had ever had, the boy could be very annoying when they were in public.
"Where's Erza, Jellal, Laxus and Mira?" The boy asked as he fixed his bag strap back to its proper position so it wouldn't dig into his shoulder like like a bear's claw. A sore shoulder just wouldn't do.
He glared at a certain white haired girl who inched closer to his side, closer than he would've been comfortable with, invading his personal space again. Just as she was about to cling onto his arm once again, Juvia chirped in, well, slightly since she still had that emotionless and cold mask concealing her face, as she stood next to Gray.
"Erza and Jellal are at the library, picking up some books to use for study later, and Mira goes towards the art room, saying something about wanting to see the arts of school, and well, Laxus just wanted to accompany her." the dark blue haired answered.
Natsu only nodded in response. "And I suppose I don't need to ask where Elfman is, since I'm sure he'd be at the gym, watching other boxers fight, am I correct?" The pinkette questioned, and the others nodded, confirming his statement.
As they walked by, Gray suddenly asked, "Hey, have you found Lucy yet? It's almost afternoon and yet, none of us have seen her still." The raven haired boy studied Natsu, looking for any signs that indicated he has seen Lucy.
Natsu opened his mouth to answer, only to go sullen as his shoulders slumped. Since Natsu was someone who was always high on energy and a very cheery person, it was, without a doubt, very shocking to see him suddenly go sullen. "O-oi, N-Natsu?!" Gray exclaimed, still startled by the boy's behavior.
Natsu just shook his head, but answered him nonetheless. "Well, I shared a few classes with her, but we don't talk except for a few good mornings, and once class was over, she disappeared to God knows where." He sighed, head bowing in sadness.
Gray and Juvia sweat dropped at that, while Lisanna scoffed. "Ugh. I can't believe that bitch actually done that. Doesn't she know how lucky she is to have Natsu pay any attention to her pathetic self?" Lisanna fumed, pissed at the fact that the blonde bimbo had what she desperately wanted.
Natsu turned from a heart broken boy, to a snarling beast. As he stopped in his tracks to whirl around and loom over the white haired witch. It took him every ounce of self control he had to not pin her against the lockers by her neck. He glared darkly at the white haired girl.
He thought that he had trained her enough to at least know when to bite that long tongue of hers.
"You insolent brat, how dare you bad mouth Luce like that?" His dark eyes narrowed, resisting the urge to beat her sorry self into submission. His eyes, two dark pools of onyx. They looked like black holes, as if they could swallow her in whole and tear her apart from cell to cell.
She was scared
"Are you trying to get me to kill you, huh?" Natsu asked with a growl, if looks could kill, she would've perished a long time ago.
And if that wasn't enough to make Lisanna's knees tremble, the dark and absolutely terrifying aura that surrounded Juvia and Gray were enough to nearly make her pass out. Their glares could freeze the oceans.
"B-but, isn't that r-right?" Her shaking voice broke at the end. The instinct to bow before his dominanting aura became stronger by the second.
"I-I mean, isn't she being un-ungrateful to ignore you w-when you a-and the others moved back here a-after the—!" Lisanna cut herself off with a squeak when a deadly growl escaped through Natsu's lips, and her skin paled to an unhealthy shade of white.
"And have I ever asked for your opinion about that matter, Lisanna?" He spat her name out like he was trying to spit out venom.
"I didn't, did I? So, do us all a favor and shut that big trap of yours the hell up if you don't want me to stitch your mouth together with a needle and a thread,"
The white haired girl's skin tone could rival that of her hair.
"Unless you have something that of use to say, I don't want you to ever open your mouth again, understood Lisanna?" Natsu said in a sickeningly sweet voice that dripped with poisoned honey, his pupils swirled in between their natural dark green color and crimson red.
The terrified girl whimpered as she nodded her head, telling him that she understood.
"Good," Natsu snarled with a growl before he turned around and continue on walking, ignoring Lisanna that had slumped on the ground, shaking in fear. Both Juvia and Gray sent her a glance, not pitying her the slightest, since they knew she deserved it and some. Because no one, no one can insult the leader of their clan's love interest.. and get away with it.
They sighed and followed behind Natsu, not sparing Lisanna a second glance, who was still shaking on the ground and shivering from the fear that engulfing her very being.
He wasn't the clan leader for nothing. If he wanted to, he could've snapped her neck in a matter of seconds. She wrapped her hands around her neck, thankful that it was still in the right angle.
They failed to notice however, the black mist that was floating near the nearby window, the dark wisps danced along its 'body'. The being two glinting crimson slits that served as eyes were watching the whole fiasco earlier with clear sickening amusement, its razor sharp white teeth glinted, forming an evil and wide smirk before it disappeared into nothingness once again.
Lucy slumped against her table as soon as she had sat at her usual seat, which surprised Levy a little bit since it was quite rare, like really, really rare for Lucy to suddenly slump in such an unlady-like fashion.
"Eh, Lu, what's wrong? Why are you so sulky today?" Levy asked, worried that something might have happened when she wasn't around.
"You looked just fine this morning." The blue haired girl started to rub Lucy's back in a soothing manner, making Lucy look up at Levy, her face stoic but her eyes gave away the puppy look at her petite best friend.
"Levy-chan, I just discovered that I have two classes with him." Lucy said and Levy tilted her head to the side, in confusion. "'Him'? Who is it Lu?" Levy asked because honestly, this was really weird because Lucy never been like this before. Never, and she had known Lucy for almost a decade, which sayid a lot.
Lucy sighed as she sat up more properly in her seat. "You know about the e-mail I received earlier this morning, saying something about my childhood friends moving and studying here?" Lucy asked and Levy nodded, silently urging her best friend to continue.
Lucy sighed once again before she spoke once more, "Well, apparently, they moved here and are already registered in the school today, and I've met one of them during my two earlier classes." The blonde looked down at her desk, a troubled look on her face.
"Still can't believe we actually shared the same two classes together." Lucy muttered to herself but Levy had heard her clearly, she snapped her gaze back to the blonde girl, looking surprised at her unexpected confession.
"W-wait, so you're saying that your childhood friends are here?!" Levy asked and Lucy nodded in confirmation.
"Yup, and I was so freaking nervous about that, that I automatically kept my mouth zipped the whole time I was with him, and as soon as class ended, I fled away." Lucy said and Levy sweat dropped.
"That was so unlike you Lu. I mean, you're usually the one who would face any challenges or situations head on, not hiding from them and avoiding them." Levy said and Lucy huffed, giving her best friend the I-know-you-don't-have-to-remind-me look.
"Oh well," Levy sighed and shrugged, she looked at Lucy once more, "What you're going to do now? I mean, you can't avoid him, or them, forever you know. They're your childhood friends, Lu." Levy said and Lucy shrugged a single shoulder.
"I don't know, I mean, I've only met Natsu, and I've still yet to meet the rest of the gang." She looked down sadly, "maybe I'll settle down tomorrow. I would have asked them to hang out later today, but I already got plans." Lucy told her blue haired friend.
Levy sighed as she shook her head, before she giggled. "Ah, it's really funny how a few childhood friends was all it took to unravel you into this Lu." Levy said with a cheeky grin, which Lucy rolled her eyes at, before she smirked evilly.
"That's rich coming from you Levy, considering how just the mention of Gajeel's name would turn you into a blubbering mess and your face to a blushing rose, Le-vy~" Lucy sang and smirked wider when Levy's face turned so red, it gave tomato a run for its money, she stuttered at Lucy to shut up.
Lucy chuckled at her petite best friend's antics before she looked ahead and stood up straighter when the Writing teacher entered the classroom, ready to start the class.
No one in the classroom noticed a dark, slick feathered raven land on the exterior of the window, its two crimson eyes stared at Lucy with a startling intensity. For a while the bird did not break its gaze. But after a few more seconds it flapped its midnight blue feather wings a few times, as if feeling victorious, before it fled away.
