Chapter 3 Fallenstar's POV

Fallenstar was walking through a forest. She didn't know how she got there, or how she would get back to the cave. Yet she felt peace. Something she hadn't felt in a long time. She saw a beautiful white she cat weaving through the trees, walking towards her. As the she cat grew closer, Fallenstar saw the familiar face.

"Mom."

"Oh my beautiful little star."

"Why!" I cried. "Why would you break my spine, exile me, call me filth!"

"Heavenclan wished it."

"I miss you mom. I miss comfort and warmth. I miss Flightsong! She is my kit! I had to leave her because of you." Cloudstar visibly cringed.

"What?" I asked.

"No! It can't be. She isn't dead. Is she?! I screamed.

Cloudstar looked at her paws.

Tears clouded my vision and I grew furiouser and furiourser.

"How are you even here you piece of fox dung! You are nothing to me. You are only a leader who can't protect her cats from a threat." I could tell I hit a nerve.

"You better fix this, Cloudstar." With that, I turned and walked away. No way I was calling her mom after that. I woke up in my nest. I knew it wasn't a dream, but a vision. We had talked in real life. Which meant Flightsong was really dead. I didn't move for three days. I heard the other cats whispering things like: "Leave her be she's grieving." Little Shadowkit, 4 moons old, trotted up to me in my nest.

"Don't be mad at Cloudstar. She was only listening to Heavenclan. They have a destiny for you. Greatness and peace you could never imagine." The little she kit mewed. I knew the little kit would grow up to be great. She knew these things yet no one told her any of this because I was the only one who knew. I struggled to stand.

"Thank you Shadowkit."
